Una estructura de alojamiento de levas para una leva tridimensional, que comprende: una pluralidad de piezas de soporte del lado de admision (62a, 62b, 62c, 62d, 62e) que soportan de manera giratoria un arbol de levas del lado de admisi6n (45) desde arriba; y una pluralidad de piezas de soporte del lado de escape (72a, 72b, 72c, 72d) que soportan de forma giratoria un arbol de levas del lado de escape (46) desde arriba en una parte superior de un cabezal de cilindro (40), en la que las piezas de soporte del lado de admision (62a, 62b, 62c, 62d y 62e) estan dispuestas en zigzag entre dos piezas continuas de las piezas de soporte del lado de escape (72a, 72b, 72c, 72d) en una direccion axial del arbol de levas (45, 46), las piezas de soporte del lado de admision (62a, 62b, 62c, 62d y 62e) y las piezas de soporte del lado de escape (72a, 72b, 72c, 72d) tienen respectivamente unas piezas de fijacion del lado de admision (68a, 68b, 68c, 68d) y unas piezas de fijacion del lado de escape (76a, 76b, 76c, 76d) para fijar el alojamiento de levas (41) al cabezal del cilindro (40) y al menos una de las piezas de fijaciOn del lado de admision (68a, 68b, 68c, 68d) de las piezas de soporte del lado de admision (62a, 62b, 62c, 62d y 62e) esta acoplada a cada una de las dos o mas piezas de las piezas de fijacion del lado de escape (76a, 76h, 76c, 76d) de las piezas de soporte del lado de escape (72a, 72b, 72c, 72d) a traves de elementos de refuerzo (77a, 77b, 77c, 77d).
