Abstract

Una composición que comprende: (A) un polímero matriz, copolímero, o mezcla de los mismos, que está esencialmente libre de erucamida, que está esencialmente libre de amida insaturada, y que es adecuado 5 para su uso en la fabricación de un recipiente, cierre del recipiente, o sellador de cierre, seleccionándose dichos polímero matriz, copolímero, o mezcla de los mismos entre los polímeros termoplásticos que consisten en copolímero de polietileno o etileno con otros alquenos inferiores, polipropileno, caucho termoplástico, copolímero de poli(etileno y propileno), copolímero de etileno y propileno modificado con ácido, caucho de estireno y butadieno, copolímero en bloque de estireno y butadieno carboxilado, poliisopreno, copolímero en bloque de estireno isopreno estireno, copolímero en bloque de estireno butadieno estireno, copolímero en bloque de estireno etileno butileno estireno, copolímero de polietileno/propileno en bloque de poliestireno y, copolímero o terpolímero de etileno y acetato de vinilo, copolímero o terpolímero de etileno y acrilato, copolímero de etileno y alcohol vinílico, caucho butilado, y polímero de poli(cloruro de vinilo); (B) un lubricante que comprende un organopolisiloxano, teniendo dicho organopolisiloxano un peso molecular promedio no inferior a 40.000, estando presente dicho organosiloxano en dicha composición en una cantidad no inferior a 0,01 partes y no mayor de 10 partes basadas en 100 partes de dicho polímero matriz, copolímero o mezcla de los mismos que comprende dicho componente (A), y teniendo organopolisiloxano una viscosidad de al menos 50.000 cst; y (C) un coadyuvante de deslizamiento que comprende una amida saturada y un polietileno oxidado, estando presente dicho coadyuvante de deslizamiento en dicha composición en una cantidad no inferior a 0,01 partes y no mayor de 8 partes basadas en 100 partes de dicho componente (A), teniendo dicha amida un valor de yodo no mayor de 5 de acuerdo con ASTM D2075-92; proporcionando dicha composición cuando se emplea en un recipiente, cierre del recipiente, o sellador de cierre una reducción de sabor desagradable, a la vez que mantiene la eficacia del coadyuvante de deslizamiento cuando se compara con las composiciones que contienen la amida insaturada.

Universal bajo el nombre comercial CRODA EBS. Una amida preferida para su uso en la presente invención es la estearamida.
Un polietileno oxidado también está presente, con la amida saturada, como coadyuvante de deslizamiento en la
5 composición de la presente invención. Los polietilenos oxidados están disponibles comercialmente de Honeywell bajo el nombre comercial de A-C, nombrándose una versión particularmente preferida o denominándose de otro modo "AC 629A". El intervalo de un coadyuvante de deslizamiento en la composición es de 0,01 a 8 partes basadas en 100 partes del polímero o los polímeros base.

Una composición coadyuvante de deslizamiento ilustrativa para su uso en cierres de envases y selladores de cierre, comprende: una silicona (por ejemplo, un siloxano, un organosiloxano tal como poli(dimetil)siloxano que tiene un peso molecular medio no inferior a 40.000, estando presente dicha silicona en una cantidad no menor de 0,01 partes y no mayor de 10 partes basadas en 100 partes de dichos polímero o polímeros base, y un coadyuvante de deslizamiento que

Se retiraron tres discos de los frascos de vidrio, y dos se insertaron en botellas de PET de 0,59 L y un disco se insertó en una tapa de 28 mm comercial. Las botellas se llenaron con agua destilada, se taparon, y se almacenaron a 46,11°C durante 6 días, a continuación se almacenaron a 20°C. Las muestras de agua se proporcionaron a un panel sensorial entrenado y se evaluaron utilizando el método de perfil de sabor, que es un patrón reconocido de la industria. La formulación libre de erucamida tuvo intensidades de sabor y olor sistemáticamente más bajas que el control de erucamida.

En otro ejemplo sensorial más, la composición en la tabla 5 se mezcló mediante extrusión, se granuló, y se volvió a extrudir en forma de cinta. Una muestra del compuesto de revestimiento utilizado comercialmente actual para el
15 agua mineral se extruye en forma de cinta y se utiliza como control. Los discos se destroquelan de las cintas y se insertan en casquillos de plástico comerciales transparentes de 28 mm. Se llenan de agua botellas de vidrio transparente, con un volumen de 265 ml, con un espacio vacío de 5% en volumen, y cerraron la mano. Las botellas se colocaron en un aparato para medir el efecto del sol en las siguientes condiciones:
