Abstract
Un proceso para producir una lámina de aluminio que tiene unas características de lámina de plegado permanente, con un límite elástico de al menos 89,6 MPa (13 ksi), y una resistencia a la tracción final de al menos 103,4 MPa (15 ksi) y un grado Mullen de al menos 89,6 kPa (13 psi) a un calibre de 0,0015 cm (0,0006 pulgadas), en el que la aleación de aluminio se cuela para formar un lingote u hoja continua, el lingote o la hoja continua se lamina en frío para producir una hoja trabajada en frío, la hoja trabajada en frío se recuece internamente, la hoja recocida internamente se lamina en frío hasta una hoja con calibre final de espesor de lámina, y se recuece la hoja con calibre final; caracterizado porque la aleación de aluminio se selecciona para contener una cantidad de manganeso en el intervalo de 0,05 a 0,15 % en peso, silicio en el intervalo de 0,05 a 0,6 % en peso, hierro en el intervalo de 0,1 a 0,7 % en peso y hasta 0,25 % en peso de cobre, siendo el resto aluminio e impurezas accidentales, y la hoja trabajada en frío se recuece internamente a una temperatura en el intervalo de 200 a 260 ºC.
