Abstract

Barrera de seguridad para carreteras, que tiene un perfil de New Jersey, utilizada en el costado de puentes o como barrera lateral, hecha de hormigón o acero, que comprende dispositivos o patines (A, B) para el desplazamiento controlado de la barrera (1, 1''), que son adecuados para calibrar las deceleraciones de acuerdo con el tipo de vehículo colisionante y con el tiempo transcurrido desde el comienzo del impacto, en donde dichos dispositivos o patines (A, B) están fijos a la base de cada módulo de la barrera (1, 1'') y/o se extienden entre dos módulos, y posiblemente están fijos también al soporte (2) y facilitan el movimiento hacia atrás de la barrera (1, 1''), también al producirse el impacto de automóviles cuya energía de impacto es menor que 65-70 kJ, caracterizada porque la barrera está conectada al soporte (2) con ayuda de medios de anclaje dúctiles (3) que no están apretados en la base de la barrera (1), con el n de permitir un desplazamiento de la barrera que implique una resistencia mínima debida a rozamiento durante el primer periodo del desplazamiento, y a este fín dichos medios de anclaje dúctiles están insertos en una posición desplazada con respecto al centro del agujero (6) situado en la base de la barrera (1).
