UNA PRIMERA FUENTE DE ENERGIA (44) APLICA ALTA TENSION A TRAVES DEL ELECTRODO Y LA BOQUILLA PARA INCIDIR SOBRE ARCO PILOTO QUE ES SOSTENIDO ENTONCES MEDIANTE ENERGIA DE UNA SEGUNDA FUENTE (42). UNA TERCERA FUENTE DE ENERGIA (40) APLICA UNA SEÑAL DE ALTO AMPERAJE PARA INCIDIR EN EL ARCO DE PLASMA PRINCIPAL ENTRE EL ELECTRODO Y LA PIEZA DE TRABAJO. LA BOQUILLA TIENE UNA PUNTA (33) QUE ESTA ADAPTADA PARA CONSTREÑIR EL ARCO DE PLASMA Y RESTRINGIR SU INCIDENCIA SOBRE LA PIEZA DE TRABAJO.
