LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA POLIMERIZACION CONTINUA EN FASE GASEOSA DE OLEFINA(S) EN UN REACTOR DE LECHO FLUIDIFICADO Y/O MECANICAMENTE AGITADO, QUE COMPRENDE UNA ETAPA EN LA QUE SE EXTRAE EL POLIMERO DEL REACTOR, EN DONDE UNA PORCION DEL LECHO ES TRANSFERIDA AL INTERIOR DE UNA TOLVA DE RETENCION Y A CONTINUACION SE AISLA DEL REACTOR EN LA TOLVA DE RETENCION DURANTE UN PERIODO DE 5 A 120 SEGUNDOS PARA QUE SE POLIMERICE UNA CANTIDAD SUSTANCIAL DE LA(S) OLEFINA(S) QUE SE ENCUENTRAN EN LA PORCION ANTERIORMENTE MENCIONADA, ANTES DE QUE EL POLIMERO ASI AISLADO EN LA PORCION ANTERIORMENTE MENCIONADA SEA DESCARGADO DE LA TOLVA DE RETENCION. CON EL PROCEDIMIENTO SE REDUCE VENTAJOSAMENTE LA CANTIDAD DE GAS EXTRAIDA JUNTO CON EL POLIMERO A RECICLAR EN EL REACTOR Y SE MEJORA LA DESGASIFICACION DEL POLIMERO POR EL CALOR DE LA REACCION DE POLIMERIZACION DURANTE EL PERIODO DE AISLAMIENTO EN LA TOLVA DE RETENCION (FIGURA 1).
