UN APARATO DE INTRODUCCION DE COORDENADAS COMPRENDE: UNA PLUMA DE VIBRACION PARA GENERAR UNA VIBRACION; UNA PLACA DE PROPAGACION DE VIBRACION PARA PROPAGAR LA VIBRACION GENERADA POR LA PLUMA MEDIANTE EL TOQUE DE LA PLUMA A LA PLACA; SENSORES DE VIBRACION PARA DETECTAR LA VIBRACION PROPAGADA A LA PLACA; UN MIEMBRO DE APOYO QUE SOPORTA LA PLACA Y CUYA VELOCIDAD DE PROPAGACION DE LA VIBRACION ES MAS LENTA QUE LA PLACA; UN CIRCUITO DE CALCULO DE LA COORDENADA DE POSICION PARA CALCULAR LAS COORDENADAS DE POSICION DE LA PLUMA SOBRE LA PLACA SOBRE LA BASE DE LAS SEÑALES DE DETECCION DE LOS SENSORES; Y UNA PANTALLA QUE SE PROPORCIONA DEBAJO DEL MIEMBRO DE APOYO Y QUE VISUALIZA LAS COORDENADAS CALCULADAS. LA PLACA ESTA FABRICADA DE METAL O CRISTAL TRANSPARENTE Y EL MIEMBRO DE APOYO ESTA HECHO DE UNA RESINA SINTETICA TRANSPARENTE. EL MIEMBRO DE APOYO ENTRA EN CONTACTO DIRECTAMENTE CON LA PLACA MEDIANTE UNA SUPERFICIE RUGOSA, SU VALOR DE IMPEDANCIA ACUSTICA ES DIFERENTE DEL DE LA PLACA Y SU RELACION DE ATENUACION DE VIBRACION ES MAYOR QUE EL DE LA PLACA. DEBIDO A QUE EL COMPONENTE DE LA ONDA DE VIBRACION PROPAGADA A LOS SENSORES NO ESTA INFLUENCIADO POR LA INTERFERENCIA DE LA VIBRACION PROPAGADA EN EL MIEMBRO DE APOYO, SE PUEDEN DETECTAR CON PRECISION LAS COORDENADAS SOBRE LA BASE DE LAS FORMAS DE ONDA DE DETECCION DE LA VIBRACION SIN DISTORSION.
