Abstract

Una composición de revestimiento termoendurecible en forma de un polvo, que comprende: (1) una mezcla de polímeros que contienen grupos hidroxi libres, formada por: (A) 10 a 90 por ciento en peso de un poliéster amorfo que tiene una temperatura de transición vítrea (Tv) mayor que 40 C, un número de hidroxilo de 20 a 200 y una viscosidad inherente de 0,1 a 0,5;y (B) 90 a 10 por ciento en peso de un poliéster semicristalino con una Tv menor que 50 C, un número de hidroxilo de 20 a 100, una viscosidad inherente de 0,1 a 0,5, una temperatura de fusión de 70 a 150 C, un peso molecular medio numérico de 1500 a 10.000 y un calor de fusión mayor que 5 cal/g. C, y que comprende: (i) restos de diácido que comprenden (a) 80 a 98 por ciento en moles de restos de ácido tereftálico y (b) 2 a 20 por ciento en moles de restos de ácido 1,4 ciclohexanodicarboxílico, restos de ácido 1,3 ciclohexanodicarboxílico, restos de ácido adípico o una mezcla de ellos; y (ii) restos de glicol que comprenden al menos 50por ciento en moles de restos que tienen la fórmula O (CH2)n O , en donde n es 4 a 12; y (2) una cantidad reticulante eficaz de un compuesto de poliisocianato bloqueado, siendo determinadas la temperatura de transición vítrea (Tv), la temperatura de fusión (Tf ) y el calor de fusión por calorimetría de exploración diferencial (CED) en el segundo ciclo de calentamiento; siendo determinado el número de hidroxilo por valoración volumétrica y expresado como mg de KOH consumidos por g de polímero; siendo medida la viscosidad inherente (V.I. dl/g) a 25 C utilizando 0,5 g de polímero por 100 ml de un disolvente que consiste en 60 partes en peso de fenol y 40 partes en peso de tetracloroetano; siendo determinado el peso molecular medio numérico (Mn) por cromatografía de filtración en gel en tetrahidrofurano (THF) utilizando un patrón de poliestireno y un detector UV; no mostrando el poliéster amorfo ninguna traza de punto de cristalización o fusión según se determina por calorimetría de exploracióndiferencial (CED); mostrando el poliéster semi cristalino una transición endométrica en un analizador de calorimetría de exploración diferencial (CED) de temperatura baja a alta.
