LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO PARA PRODUCCION DE ARTICULOS DE ESPUMA DE UNA RESINA DE POLIPROPILENO QUE COMPRENDE LA COMPRESION DE CUENTAS PREEXPANDIDAS DE LA RESINA DE POLIPROPILENO BAJO PRESION GASEOSA, EL LLENADO DE UN MOLDE QUE PUEDE SER CERRADO PERO NO PUEDE SER SELLADO CON LAS CUENTAS COMPRIMIDAS, VENTILACION DEL OLDE Y CALENTAMIENTO Y FUSION DE LAS CUENTAS CON VAPOR PARA PRODUCIR EL ARTICULO MOLDEADO CON LA FORMA DEL MOLDE. EL PROCESO SE CARACTERIZA PORQUE LAS CUENTAS PRE-EXPANDIDAS DE UNA RESINA DE POLIPROPILENO QUE TIENE DOS PUNTOS DE FUSION CUANDO SE MIDE POR CALORIMETRIA DE EXPLORACION DIFERENCIAL, Y QUE TIENE UNA CANTIDAD DE CALOR DE FUSION MAXIMO QH BASADO EN EL PUNTO DE FUSION EN EL PICO DE TEMPERATURA ALTA DE LOS DOS PUNTOS DE FUSION DE 0,3 A 3,5 CAL/G, SE INTRODUCEN EN EL MOLDE A UNA PROPORCION DE COMPRESION DE 10 A 60%.
