SE DESCRIBE UN EQUIPO DE SEÑALIZACION QUE COMPRENDE MATERIAL FORMADOR DE MATRIZ POLIMERA Y PERLAS DE VIDRIO A INCORPORAR EN ELLA; PERLAS DE VIDRIO TRATADAS EN SUPERFICIE A INCORPORAR EN LA MATRIZ; UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA TRATAR EN SUPERFICIE LAS PERLAS, Y UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA SEÑALIZACION REFLECTANTE DE UNA SUPERFICIE. LAS PERLAS HAN SIDO TRATADAS EN SUPERFICIE DE MODO QUE SU TENSION SUPERFICIAL ES MAYOR QUE LA DEL MATERIAL FORMADOR DE MATRIZ, PERO MENOT QUE 70 MN/M, PONIENDOLAS EN CONTACTO CON AL MENOS UN COMPUESTO ORGANICO U ORGANO-METALICO ELEGIDO ENTRE COMPUESTOS DE CLORLO, BROMO, YODO, AMINO, CLORAMINO, MERCAPTO Y EPOXI PARA DARLES UN REVESTIMIENTO QUE LAS HACE HIDROFOBAS YPUEDE DARLES UNA TENSION SUPERFICIAL DE 30 A 51 MN/M. LAS PERLAS TRATADAS SON APLICADAS A CAPAS DE MATRIZ PARA FORMAR SEÑALES DE PAVIMENTO REFLECTANTES, DEPOSITANDO EL ESPESOR DESEADO DE MATERIAL Y ROCIANDO LAS PERLAS SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL MISMO ANTES DE SU ENDURECIMIENTO. SE MEJORA LA PERMANENCIA DE LA SEÑALIZACION.
