Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betriff Saunaofen für einen Saunaraum mit einem Gehäuse, das eine Heizvorrichtung enthält und eine Auslassöffnung aufweist, aus der die durch die Heizvorrichtung erhitzte Luft aufgrund von Konvektion austritt, wobei der Saunaofen ein Steinbett, welches in der Auslassöffnung angeordnet ist, und eine automatische Aufgussvorrichtung aufweist, die ein Reservoir, eine Pumpe und eine Flüssigkeitsverteileinrichtung aufweist, welche derart eingerichtet sind, dass mittels der Pumpe und der Flüssigkeitsverteileinrichtung Flüssigkeit aus dem Reservoir auf das Steinbett verteilt. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass die Flüssigkeitsverteileinrichtung aus einer Spritzplatte und einer Flüssigkeitsöffnung besteht, wobei die Flüssigkeitsöffnung unterhalb der Spritzplatte umgeben vom Steinbett derart angeordnet ist, dass Flüssigkeit aus der Flüssigkeitsöffnung gegen die Spitzplatte von unten spritzbar ist, wobei die Flüssigkeitsöffnung vorzugsweise derart ausgerichtet ist, dass die Flüssigkeit senkrecht nach Oben aus dieser austritt.
