  • the cover locking part may include a locking member which is provided to protrude from the bottom surface of the arm rest cover and has a locking hole; a pinion which is rotatably provided in the receiving case for supporting the arm; a first rack which is engaged with the pinion and has an insertion end corresponding to the locking hole; a second rack which is engaged with the pinion and moves in an opposite direction to the first rack, and has a pressing end exposed to the outside of the receiving case for supporting the arm; and a locking elastic body which is provided between the pinion and the receiving case for supporting the arm and applies a rotational force in a direction in which the insertion end of the first rack is inserted into the locking hole.

  • the arm rest cover 120 is a component for not only supporting the user's arm, but also opening and closing the upper opening part 112 of the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm. As illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 5 , the arm rest cover 120 may be rotatably provided in the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm.
  • the user may receive articles such as writing instruments in the inner receiving part 111 through the upper opening part 112 of the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm by opening the arm rest cover 120 while supporting the arm using the arm rest cover 120, that is, receive the articles such as writing instruments in the armrest 100 for the chair of the present invention closest to the user's hand. Accordingly, it is possible to not only rapidly and easily use the received articles, but also efficiently use a space on a desk even without providing a separate writing instrument shelf or writing instrument case for a narrow desk.
  • the armrest 100 for the chair may further include a cushion member 130 provided on the upper surface of the arm rest cover 120. Therefore, when the user places the arm on the arm rest cover 120, a sufficient cushioning feeling may be provided.
  • the armrest 100 for the chair may further include a cup holder 140, as illustrated in FIGS. 2 , 3 , and 5 to 7 .
  • the cup holder 140 is a component for holding the cup.
  • the cup holder 140 may be provided between the upper end of the supporter 6 and the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm.
  • a cup (not illustrated) can be held on the armrest 100 for the chair of the present invention closest to the user's hand through the cup holder 140, so that the held cup may be not only used quickly and easily and a space on the desk may also be efficiently used even if the cup is not placed on the narrow desk.
  • the cup holder 140 may include a cup holder body 141 and one or more cup seating holes 142.
  • the cup holder body 141 may have a plate shape, and the cup seating hole 142 may be formed in the cup holder body 141 and the cup may be seated in the form in which the cup is accommodated.
  • cup holder body 141 may have the same size and the same shape as the bottom surface of the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm, as illustrated in FIGS. 2 , 3 and 6 .
  • the armrest 100 for the chair may further include a case rotating part 150.
  • the case rotating part 150 may rotatably provide the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm on the cup holder 140 so that the cup holder 140 is covered or exposed to the outside by the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm.
  • the cup holder 140 may be covered or exposed to the outside by rotating the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm through the case rotating part 150 (see FIG. 7 ), and when the use of the cup holder 140 is not required, the cup holder 140 is positioned under the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm (see FIG. 2 ), so as to efficiently use a space occupied by the armrest 100 for the chair of the present invention.
  • the case rotating part 150 may include a vertical hinge shaft 151 and a vertical hinge hole 152 as illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 7 .
  • the vertical hinge shaft 151 is provided on the cup holder body 141 and may be vertically provided on the upper surface of the cup holder body 141, and the vertical hinge hole 152 is provided in the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm and may be rotatably inserted into the vertical hinge shaft 151.
  • the vertical hinge shaft may be provided in the receiving case for supporting the arm, and the vertical hinge hole may also be provided in the cup holder.
  • the armrest 100 for the chair may further include a cover rotating part 160, an opening elastic body 170, and a cover locking part 180.
  • the cover rotating part 160 may rotatably provide the arm rest cover 120 to the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm, and the opening elastic body 170 may be provided on the cover rotating part 160, and may apply an elastic force in a direction in which the arm rest cover 120 is opened.
  • the cover locking part 180 may be provided between the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm and the arm rest cover 120, and the arm rest cover 120 may be in a closed or open state with respect to the upper opening part 112.
  • the arm rest cover 120 may be automatically opened by the elastic force of the opening elastic body 170 only by manipulation of the cover locking part 180 without loss of the arm rest cover 120, and the arm rest cover 120 may be automatically locked by the cover locking part 180 while the user applies an opposite force.
  • the cover locking part 180 may include a locking member 181, a pinion 182, a first rack 183, a second rack 184, and an engaging elastic body 185.
  • the locking member 181 may be provided to protrude from the bottom surface of the arm rest cover 120 and may have a locking hole 181a.
  • the pinion 182 may be rotatably provided in the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm, the first rack 183 may be engaged with the pinion 182 and have an insertion end 183a corresponding to the locking hole 181a, and the second rack 184 is engaged with the pinion 182 and moves in an opposite direction to the first rack 183, and may have a pressing end 184a exposed to the outside of the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm.
  • the locking elastic body 185 may be provided between the pinion 182 and the receiving case 110 for supporting the arm, and may apply a rotational force in a direction in which the insertion end 183a of the first rack 183 is inserted into the locking hole 181a. Furthermore, the upper surface of the insertion end 183a may have a shape that is gradually inclined downward in the insertion direction of the insertion end 183a, as illustrated in FIG. 4 .
  • the arm rest cover 120 may be opened by the elastic force of the opening elastic body 170.
  • the insertion end 183a of the first rack 183 is retracted backward by the pressing force of the locking member 181, and then the locking member 181 further comes down so that the insertion end 183a may be positioned in the engaging hole 181a of the locking member 181.
  • the insertion end 183a of the first rack 183 is moved in the direction to be inserted into the locking hole 181a by the elastic force of the locking elastic body 185, and at the same time, is caught in the locking hole 181a so that the arm rest cover 120 may be maintained in a closed state.
  • the cover locking part may also have a mechanism including a locking member provided on the bottom surface of the arm rest cover and having a locking hole, a hook provided rotatably on the receiving case for supporting the arm and corresponding to the locking hole, and a locking elastic body applying a rotational force in the direction in which the hook is inserted into the locking hole.
