Definitions

  • the invention relates to a card with a revolving flat, comprising at least two traction means, which are designed to accommodate a large number of flat bars in the area of their end faces and to guide them at least along part of the circumference of a drum of the card, the traction means with the flat bars being guided around two deflection rollers in each case arranged above the side shields of the card, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a revolving flat of a card in which the flat bars are arranged on circulating belts or chains and are guided past a partial circumference of the drum in a circuit.
  • two guide rollers are arranged at the deflection points of the belt drive.
  • Guide elements or sliding guides are arranged between the guide rollers and are fastened to flanges or structural members.
  • the flanges or structural elements in turn extend from the side plate to the upper sliding guide, as a result of which the space between the rotating flat bars is only freely accessible to a limited extent.
  • the belt or chain can be adjusted using a spring scale by measuring the contact force of a flat bar on the flexible bend or the sliding guide. This is very imprecise and only indirectly indicates the tension of the belt or chain.
  • the U.S. 857,713 discloses a card in which the bracket for deflecting the tension elements to which the flat bars are attached is attached to the frame of the card. This results in a guide for the tension elements in which it is difficult to remove or inspect the flat bars.
  • the CN 204417686 U discloses the attachment of the brackets for deflecting the tension elements on the side plate. An adjustment of the tension elements is therefore very complex.
  • the object of the invention is the further development of a revolving flat for a card, which enables easy access to the flat bars and which enables reproducible adjustability.
  • the card according to the invention has a revolving flat, which comprises at least two traction means, which are designed to receive a large number of flat bars in the area of their end faces and to guide them at least along a partial circumference of a drum of the card, the traction means with the flat bars being guided around two deflection rollers in each case which are arranged above the side plates of the card, with a bracket being arranged between two deflection rollers in each case, which is designed to accommodate further guide elements for guiding the traction means.
  • the invention is characterized in that the ends of the bracket are arranged on flanges on which the deflection rollers are mounted.
  • the traction means can be in the form of a belt or chain and take up the flat bars in the area of their end faces with pins, plastic elements or other connecting means.
  • the traction means guide the flat rods along their flat travel at least along part of the circumference of a drum, so that fibers between the clothings of the flats and the clothing of the drum are aligned and cleaned in a very small gap.
  • the traction means are each guided around two deflection rollers, with the flat bars being guided out of contact with the fibers or the drum in the area of one deflection roller and being cleaned by means of suction and a brush before they are guided back to the drum in the area of the second deflection roller .
  • At least one roller is designed to drive the traction means with a drive.
  • a bracket is arranged between two deflection rollers in each case and is designed to accommodate further guide elements for guiding the traction means between the upper and lower run of the traction mechanism, a free space that can be used to inspect or remove the flat bars or to clean them.
  • the free space in the area of the side shields is not obstructed with fastening elements on which the bracket is arranged.
  • the bracket preferably has a first and a second end, which are arranged in the area of the deflection rollers, the bracket bridging at least a partial distance between the deflection rollers in an arc shape.
  • the design of the bracket as an arched bridge enables a high level of stability and a generous design freedom for the free space between the upper and lower runs of the traction means.
  • a first end of the bracket is rotatable and the second end has a support that rests on an adjustment element.
  • the bracket is easy to assemble, which no longer has to be laboriously assembled and adjusted on the side plate of the card.
  • the adjustment element is preferably designed as an eccentric which interacts with the support of the bracket.
  • the clamping force on the traction device can be adjusted via the eccentric, because depending on the position of the eccentric, the bracket presses more or less against the tension of the traction device.
  • bracket is designed so that its first end can be pivoted about a pivot point with a defined force, the tension on the traction means can be adjusted easily and precisely
  • a defined force is preferably introduced at the second end of the bracket, the pivoted position of the bracket being fixed by bracing the eccentric, which is in contact with the support of the bracket.
  • the defined force can be generated, for example, with springs, pneumatic or hydraulic means, or by means of leverage.
  • the bracket preferably has at least two further deflection rollers for guiding the traction means, as a result of which little friction acts on the deflection of the traction means.
  • the use of two additional deflection rollers, i.e. a total of four deflection rollers per bracket, enables the use of deflection rollers with a small diameter, as a result of which the free space between the upper and lower runs of the traction means can be increased.
  • the additional guide element on the bracket reduces the tension on the traction mechanism due to the weight of the flat bars.
  • a large free space can be created between the traction means, with which the flat bars can be easily mounted or can be removed.
  • the free space is also suitable for examining the condition of the flat bars and can be used to clean the revolving flat.
  • the traction mechanism can be tightened reproducibly with the simplest of means.
  • FIG. 1 shows a card 100 according to the prior art, in which fiber tufts are guided via a chute to a feed roller 1, a feed table 2, via a plurality of lickerins 3a, 3b, 3c, to the drum 4 or the spool.
  • the fibers of the fiber tufts are parallelized and cleaned by means of stationary carding elements 20 arranged on a revolving flat 17.
  • the resulting fibrous web is then conveyed via a doffer 5, a doffer roller 6 and several squeezing rollers 7, 8 to a fleece guide element 9, which uses a funnel 10 to shape the fibrous web into a sliver, which is conveyed via take-off rollers 11, 12 to a downstream processing machine or a Pot 15 passes.
  • FIG 2 shows a revolving flat 17 according to the prior art.
  • the revolving flat 17 comprises at least two belts 17a, which are arranged on both sides of the drum 4 and interact in the area of the end faces of the flat bars 20 with pins arranged thereon.
  • each flat bar 20 is fastened on both sides by means of the pins arranged on the front side in a respective belt 17a, which is guided above the side plates 22 and arranged circumferentially.
  • Only one side of the card is shown in the following illustrations, it being clear to the person skilled in the art that the revolving flat 17 described here is guided on both sides of the card.
  • Each belt 17a is guided over at least two deflection rollers 24, 25, the deflection rollers 24 and 25 being rotatably arranged on bearing elements 24a, 25a.
  • the bearing elements 24a, 25a in turn are arranged on the side plates 22 of the card 100.
  • At least one of the deflection rollers 24 or 25 is coupled to a drive, via which the belts 17a with the revolving flats 20 are driven along their flat journey.
  • Further deflection rollers 26, 27 or guides for the belt 17a can be arranged between the deflection rollers 24, 25.
  • a bracket 23 is arranged on each side of the drum 4 on the side plate 22, on which the two central deflection rollers 26, 27 are arranged and rotatably mounted.
  • Each bracket 23 is also arranged on the side plate 22 of the card 100 and is designed to adjust the tension of the belts 17a by means of an adjustment device 23a.
  • a suction device 30 is also arranged on a bearing element 25a, with which dirt and fiber residues are sucked out of the clothings of the flat bars.
  • a cleaning device not designated further, in the form of a rotating brush is arranged on the bracket 23.
  • the flat bars 20 run between the deflection rollers 24 and 25 on the drum 4 over a sliding strip 18 which is arranged on a flexible bend 21 .
  • the flexible bend 21 is arranged on the side plate so that it can be adjusted by means of an adjusting spindle 19 .
  • the sliding bar 18 can be designed to be adjustable at a distance from the flexible bend 21 concentrically to the drum.
  • the carding gap between the drum 4 and the flat bars 20 can be adjusted by adjusting the flexible bend 21 and the slide bar 18 .
  • the flat bars 20 In the embodiment of figure 2 move the flat bars 20 in the region of the drum 4 or the visible side plate 22 against the direction of rotation of the drum 4 to the left, with the flat bars 20 being guided over the sliding strip 18 here.
  • the flat bars 20 After being deflected around the deflection roller 25, the flat bars 20 are moved to the right in this illustration by the belt 17a.
  • the tension of the belt 17a is generated exclusively by the bracket 23, which is arranged adjustably at a central position on the side plate 22.
  • the contour of the hanger 23 corresponds to the triangular contour of an inverted clothes hanger, with the adjustment device 23a with the attachment to the side plate 22 being arranged at a central corner (the hanger’s hanger), and the deflection rollers 26 and 27 being rotatably mounted at the other two corners .
  • the arrangement and contour of the bracket 23 has the disadvantage of the complex adjustability of the belt tension and the lack of accessibility in the revolving flat 17 between the flat bars 20.
  • the revolving flat 17 according to the invention is guided on each side of the card 100 between the deflection rollers 24 and 25 on at least two further deflection rollers 26, 27 which are arranged on a curved bracket 23.
  • the bracket 23 spans the upper run of the belt 17a, which is not in the area of the drum 4.
  • the bracket 23 is fastened to two flanges 24b, 25b which are arranged on the bearing elements 24a, 25a.
  • the bracket 23 is arranged with a first end on a first flange 25b so as to be rotatable about the pivot point 31 .
  • the second end of the bracket 23 rests against a second flange 24b with a seat 23b loose on an adjuster which is arranged on the second flange 24b and is pressed against the support 23b by the tension of the belt 17a.
  • the bracket 23 thus has the form of a bridge which bridges the distance between the flanges 24b, 25b in the form of an arc.
  • the upper side of the bracket 23 is convex and the underside of the bracket 23 is concave, on the one hand to ensure sufficient stability and on the other hand to make the free space between the bracket 23 and the side plate 22 above the drum 4 as large as possible.
  • each bracket 23 is arranged on each bracket 23, with which adequate guidance for each belt 17a is ensured.
  • FIG. 4 and 4a shows the arrangement of the bracket 23 between the flanges 25b and 24b without the belt 17a and without the flat bars 20.
  • the bracket 23 is rotatably attached at a first end to the flange 25b.
  • the second end of the bracket 23 rests with its support 23b on an adjustment element which is designed as a rotatable eccentric 32 in this exemplary embodiment.
  • a pivot point 24c is arranged on the second flange 24b, to which a two-armed lever 33 can be attached for the adjustment process of the revolving flat 17.
  • the lever 33 has a short lever arm on one side of the pivot point 24c which interacts with the second side of the bracket 23 .
  • a longer lever arm of the lever 33 is arranged on the side facing away from the pivot point 24c of the bracket 23 and is designed to receive a weight 34 .
  • the weight 34 in conjunction with the two-armed lever 33 generates a force against the belt 17a on the second end of the bracket 23, which is thus connected to a reproducible force is clamped.
  • the eccentric 32 is turned and fixed in contact with the support 23b of the bracket 23 .
  • the belt 17a for the revolving flat 17 can thus be tightened on each side of the card 100 in a reproducible manner.
  • the lever 33 with the weight 34 is removed again.
  • any other predefined force loading on the second end of the bracket 23 is suitable for generating a reproducible tension on the belt 17a, for example a spring arrangement, or a pneumatic or hydraulic tensioning element.
  • FIG 12 shows the routing of a strap from the rear of the bracket 23 without the strap and without the flat bars.
