Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a therapeutic and sports gymnastics device for the entire human musculoskeletal system, which enables exercises to counteract the often monotonous everyday strain. With the help of these exercises, derived from yoga teachings, atrophy is counteracted, especially in the outermost stretching and extension areas.
  • a number of devices are known for carrying out these exercises, as the majority of people are often no longer able to carry out these exercises without aids. Again, an example is that DE 20 2010 010 745 U1 and the EN 20 2010 010 934 U1 referred. These devices are usually part of a circuit of nine devices in total, which allows the user to carry out nine different exercises.
  • the training device has a base plate, a leg support and two main side stands on which a torso-buttocks support and a support frame are arranged.
  • the present invention is directed to a gymnastics device with a base plate, preferably padded, a unit arranged above the base plate and movable parallel to the base plate with at least one, preferably padded, surface, a frame mounted above the base plate with several struts or rungs extending parallel to the base plate and a roller, preferably padded, mounted above the base plate so as to be height-adjustable and arranged between the movable unit and the frame as seen in the longitudinal direction of the base plate.
  • the base plate does not have to extend over the entire base area of the device. Rather, the base plate can also have one or more recesses. Furthermore, a frame can be provided which supports the base plate and on which the other components of the device are mounted. Accordingly, the one above the The unit arranged on the base plate and movable parallel to the base plate may also be movable beyond an edge of the base plate. Furthermore, the frame mounted above the base plate can also protrude in the longitudinal direction beyond the base plate.
  • the individual elements of this gymnastics device according to the invention can be mounted on a relatively small surface area (e.g. an area of less than 3 m 2 ), so that the gymnastics device according to the invention can also be set up in private areas without any problems.
  • the individual elements of the claimed gymnastics device and their arrangement relative to one another allow the performance of a large number of sports or therapeutic gymnastics exercises that can otherwise only be carried out in a relatively complex circuit training.
  • the individual components of the claimed gymnastics device are also present in the above-mentioned device from GymWood.
  • the height-adjustable roller is arranged between the movable unit and the frame in the longitudinal direction of the padded base plate and not, as with the device known from the prior art, at a long end of the gymnastics device.
  • the padded base plate does not have to be padded over the entire surface. Rather, cushions can also be applied to one or more relevant locations. The same applies to the padded surface of the movable unit.
  • the padded roller is preferably connected to the base plate via two side supports, directly or indirectly, which preferably extend perpendicular to the base plate, i.e. vertically when the gymnastics device is set up normally.
  • the two side supports preferably have a height of at least 1 m.
  • the roller is preferably mounted on the side supports so that it can move, preferably via mechanical sliding guides, with the roller preferably extending between the two side supports.
  • the roller can also be mounted and locked on just one of the two side supports, preferably in an upper area, and the second support can be used to additionally support the roller on the second side in a lower area, where a much higher weight load occurs due to the exercises taking place there, and to lock it there as well.
  • the upper end of the lower support is preferably designed so that the axis of the roller can be easily inserted into the mechanical sliding guide can be threaded when the roller is moved from the upper area downwards.
  • Another possibility is to leave the so-called sliding carriage at the upper end of the lower support in order to carry out the exercises with the roller in the upper area supported on one side. Only when the lower area is reached again is the second side supported and closed/connected with the sliding carriage.
  • the side supports preferably have different heights, with the height of a support being at least 1.60 m, preferably at least 1.80 m and particularly preferably at least 2.0 m.
  • the roller is preferably mounted on the higher of the side supports in such a way that the roller can be moved along the higher support beyond the maximum height of the lower of the side supports and can be locked at different heights.
  • the roller is preferably height-adjustable over a height range (measured from the top of the base plate to the longitudinal axis of the roller) of at least 50 cm to 150 cm, more preferably from at least 30 cm to 170 cm and particularly preferably from at least 10 cm to 190 cm and can be locked at different heights within this range.
  • One or more handle elements are preferably provided on one or both of the side supports. Preferably, several, for example at least two or at least three, handle elements are attached to different heights of the side supports.
  • an upper stop surface is provided on at least one of the side supports, which extends perpendicular to the padded base plate and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the roll, the upper stop surface preferably having a surface area of at least 1 m 2 , more preferably of at least 1 .2 m 2 and particularly preferably at least 1.4 m 2 .
  • the maximum dimension of the stop surface along a direction parallel to the padded base plate is preferably at least 1 m, more preferably at least 1.5 m and particularly preferably at least 2.0 m.
  • the stop surface is preferably mounted at the upper end of the higher of the two side supports.
  • the upper end of the stop surface measured from the top of the base plate, preferably has a height of at least 1.8 m, more preferably of at least 2.0 m and particularly preferably of at least 2.2 m.
  • the stop surface is mounted on one of the side supports and is height adjustable.
  • the stop surface preferably has a recess along which the roller can be moved via the side support into the area of the stop surface.
  • a, preferably padded, stop is provided which extends from that side edge of the gymnastics device on which the stop surface is arranged towards the center line of the padded base plate.
  • the stop when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the padded base plate, the stop is arranged offset from the longitudinal axis of the roll, preferably between the longitudinal axis of the roll and the frame.
  • the offset (measured between the longitudinal axis of the stop and the longitudinal axis) is preferably between 10 cm and 50 cm, more preferably between 15 cm and 45 cm and particularly preferably between 20 cm and 40 cm.
  • the padded stop can preferably be moved parallel to the longitudinal direction of the padded base plate and locked at different longitudinal positions, preferably continuously.
  • the longitudinal axis of the stop, measured from the surface of the base plate is preferably arranged at a height of at least 10 cm and at most 30 cm.
  • two side walls are preferably provided which extend upwards on the lateral edges of the padded base plate or the gymnastics device, preferably perpendicular to the padded base plate, and run perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the roller.
  • One or more handle elements are preferably provided on one or both of the side walls.
  • the side walls preferably extend on both sides of the side supports. It is further preferred that each of the sub-elements of the side walls (on the two sides of the side support) has at least two, more preferably at least three, handle elements. These handle elements are preferably provided at different heights.
  • the struts or rungs of the frame together preferably define a convex support surface that points in the direction of the roller.
  • the frame can preferably be dismantled without tools.
  • the frame can be displaceably accommodated in guides of the side walls, particularly preferably at different positions and/or heights.
  • the movable unit can preferably be fixed at different positions, preferably continuously. It is preferred that the movable unit can be moved over a distance of at least 80 cm, more preferably of at least 100 cm and particularly preferably of at least 120 cm.
  • the movable unit preferably has a stop roller and/or a strut-shaped projection.
  • a cushion is preferably provided between the stop roller and the strut-shaped projection, which preferably has a surface area of at least 1,000 cm 2 , more preferably of at least 1,200 cm 2 .
  • the maximum projected length of the gymnastics device measured in the longitudinal direction of the base plate, is at most 3.2 m, more preferably at most 3.0 m and particularly preferably at most 2.8 m.
  • the device according to the invention enables the user to perform postures and stretching movements which, due to the often one-sided and forward-facing basic posture in everyday life, rarely or no longer occur naturally, and thus counteract the one-sided strain or atrophy of the musculoskeletal system.
  • a gymnastics device according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown in a perspective view from the front.
  • the gymnastics device has a base plate 1, a unit 3 arranged above the base plate 1 and movable parallel to the base plate with at least one padded surface 24, a frame 10 mounted above the base plate 1 with several struts or rungs 15 extending parallel to the base plate 1 and a preferably padded roller 11 mounted above the base plate 1 so as to be height-adjustable and which is arranged between the movable unit 3 and the frame 10 as seen in the longitudinal direction of the base plate 1.
  • the gymnastics device has a padded knee plate 2, which extends essentially over the entire width of the gymnastics device.
  • the base plate 1 extends only over part of the total length of the device, so that a recess is arranged between the base plate 1 and the knee plate 2, above which the movable unit 3 can be moved back and forth.
  • the base plate 1 could also extend to the knee plate 2, so that they form a joint form a padded base plate 1, which extends essentially over the entire length of the device.
  • the base plate 1 is mounted in a frame to which the other components of the device are also attached.
  • the padded roller 11 is connected to the base plate 1 or to the frame that supports the base plate via two side supports 4 and 6 extending perpendicular to the base plate 1, the padded roller 11 being displaceable on the side supports via mechanical sliding guides 5 4 and 6 is stored.
  • three handle elements 23 are provided on both side supports 4 and 6, each of which is arranged at a different height.
  • an upper stop surface 12 is mounted on the side support 4, which extends perpendicular to the base plate 1 and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the padded roller 11.
  • this stop surface 12 has a curved shape consisting of two superimposed ellipses.
  • the stop surface can also have a different shape and be, for example, rectangular or wing-shaped.
  • the maximum dimension of the stop surface 12 along a direction parallel to the base plate 1 is at least 1 m, more preferably at least 1.5 m and particularly preferably at least 2 m, in order to offer the user sufficient surface to lean on.
  • a padded stop 9 serves as a stabilizing element. This stop is located on the side of the gymnastic device on which the stop surface is also located and extends from the side edge towards the center line of the base plate 1, as shown in Figure 10
  • the padded stop 9 is preferably arranged offset to the longitudinal axis of the roller 11, as shown in Figure 10 shown, and can preferably be moved parallel to the longitudinal direction of the base plate and locked at different longitudinal positions.
  • the padded roller 11 can preferably be locked at different heights by means of mechanical adjustment units 7, which are provided on the side supports 4 and 6. If the roller 11 is moved upwards beyond the upper end of the lower support 6, this is the case these are only mounted on one side via a mechanical sliding guide 5 on the higher side support 4. This is sufficient because in the exercises in which the roller is locked very high up, the force acting on the roller is much smaller than in the exercises with the roller close to the ground.
  • the movable unit 3 can also preferably be fixed at different longitudinal positions, preferably continuously.
  • the movable unit 3 preferably has a stop roller 13 and/or a strut-shaped projection 8.
  • the cushion 24 can be provided between the stop roller 13 and the strut-shaped projection 8.
  • the gymnastics device has two side walls 14 which extend upwards on the side edges of the base plate 1 or the device perpendicular to the base plate 1 and run perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the roller 11.
  • partial elements of the side walls 14 are each arranged on both sides of the supports 4 and 6 and attached to the frame which carries the base plate 1.
  • three handle elements 23 are provided in each partial wall of the side walls 14.
  • the frame 10 can preferably be dismantled without tools and is in the dismantled state in Figure 11
  • the frame can be slidably received by means of guide webs 16 in grooves 18 of the side walls 14.
  • guide webs 16 in grooves 18 of the side walls 14.
  • two or more grooves with different lengths and/or at different lateral positions can be provided in order to mount the frame 10 at different heights or at different lateral positions.
  • enlarged openings 19 of the grooves 18 are provided in the entry area.
  • grooves 18 with a different angle could also be provided.
  • a stabilization plate 20 can be provided, which stabilizes the stop surface 12 against twisting, for example under high loads.
  • stabilization struts 21 can be provided to stabilize the side walls 14.
  • the gymnastics device according to the invention therefore represents a significant improvement over the state of the art, as all of the new exercises mentioned can be carried out correctly using a very compact device with a very manageable footprint.
  • the gymnastics device according to the invention with its large stop surface and the large number of grip elements, offers important support for correct execution, especially for beginners.
