Definitions
- the invention relates to a spinning apparatus and a method for spinning a spinning apparatus for the continuous extrusion of moldings from a spinning solution, and a piecing apparatus for performing the method, wherein the moldings are extruded as loose spinning curtain from the spinning solution through spinning nozzles of the spinning device, the shaped body of the loose spinning curtain after extrusion to form a shaped body bundle, and the shaped body bundle is fed in a further step a trigger member of the spinning device to start a continuous extrusion of the shaped body.
- Spinning devices of the type mentioned and the spinning process carried out therewith are known from the prior art for the production of moldings, for example fibers, filaments, films, etc.
- said processes are used to produce spun staple or continuous fibers.
- the spinning solution is pressed through a plurality of spinnerets.
- the extruded molded articles Before the further treatment of the extruded molded articles in subsequent process steps, such as washing, pressing, drying, etc., which do not take place in the spinning device itself, the extruded molded articles must be continuously transported out of the spinning device, for example via a take-off element. To be able to feed the moldings to such a take-off device, they first have to be combined into a bundle.
- the spinning of the spinning device is a first process section of a spinning process, which is intended to enable or initiate a continuous extrusion of moldings in the spinning process.
- the piecing process therefore comprises all the process steps of a spinning process which are necessary between the end of a first continuous extrusion and a subsequent continuous extrusion, for example after the spinning device has come to a standstill or after spinning defects such as the tearing off of some shaped bodies below the spinnerets have occurred.
- WO 94/28218 A1 shows a spinning device of the type mentioned in the introduction, wherein the spinning curtain extruded from the spinning nozzles is guided through a bottom-side opening of the spinning bath container.
- the bottom-side opening acts reducing the diameter of the spinning curtain, whereby the shaped bodies are combined to form a shaped body bundle.
- the piecing and the manipulation of the spinning curtain are made much more difficult by the very high depths of the Spinnbad employer disclosed therein.
- Such spinning devices therefore suffer from the low reproducibility of the piecing process as well as the high susceptibility to piecing defects, which do not permit satisfactory continuous extrusion of the shaped articles and often necessitate re-spinning.
- EP 0 574 870 A1 shows a spinning device in which the extruded molded bodies, after emerging from the spinnerets, are combined as a spinning curtain to form a shaped body bundle. This is achieved by the use of a spinning funnel in the spinning bath of the spinning bath container, which narrows down in cross-section and has a lower narrowed outlet opening. If the spinning curtain is guided through the spinning funnel, a shaped body bundle is created on exit of the shaped body from the spinning funnel, thus facilitating further handling of the shaped bodies in the spinning device during piecing.
- spinning funnels are disadvantageously arranged deep in the spin bath container, whereby a simple handling by the operator is not given.
- such spinning devices have the disadvantage that always high amounts of Spinnbadnetkeit must flow through the spinning funnel in Spinnbad electer to ensure a satisfactory function, but this too turbulent Flows in the spinning bath leads and adversely affected the process conditions during the continuous extrusion of the moldings.
- EP 0 746 642 B1 describes a spinning device for remedying the aforementioned disadvantages, wherein a bundling element is provided for bundling the shaped bodies in the form of a deflecting element in the spinning bath container.
- a bundling element is provided for bundling the shaped bodies in the form of a deflecting element in the spinning bath container.
- the present invention has therefore set itself the task of designing a piecing method of the type described above procedurally simple and reproducible.
- the invention achieves the object with regard to the piecing process in that the shaped bodies are combined by torsion of the spinning curtain around a torsion axis to form the shaped body bundle.
- the continuous extrusion of the shaped bodies and the bundling into a homogeneous shaped body bundle can be significantly improved, which is particularly beneficial for the reliability of the piecing process.
- the individual shaped bodies are rotated about a common point of contact with each other, so that the compact shaped body bundle is formed at the point of contact.
- the torsion of the spinning curtain so the rotation of the individual moldings around the common point of contact, can also be particularly advantageous for a low error rate in the bundling of the moldings act as reliable almost all moldings can be summarized in the bundle. This can also be done with much less effort.
- the torsion of the spinning curtain can overcome these disadvantages, in particular not only a compact shaped body bundle is created, but the torsion can also ensure a continuous, well controllable removal of the moldings from the spinnerets, which reliably prevent damming of the moldings and a swelling of the spinning curtain can.
- a particularly simple and reliable process for piecing a spinning device can thus be provided. This leads advantageously also subsequently to a more uniform and stable spinning process.
- the invention may also be particularly distinguished when the spinning process is a lyocell process, and the shaped bodies are cellulosic shaped bodies, in particular cellulosic fibers, which consist of a spinning solution containing water, cellulose and tertiary amine oxide through spinnerets the spinning device are extruded.
- the torsion of the spinning curtain can in fact already take place in the air gap between spinnerets and spinning bath, whereby a better accessibility and thus a much simpler process is created.
- shaped bodies can be understood as meaning both continuous fibers or filaments as well as films and hoses. Such shaped bodies can, for example, subsequently be made into staple fibers, nonwovens, yarns, textiles, or three-dimensional objects, such as e.g. Microspheres are processed.
- the torsion of the spinning curtain to the shaped body bundle can be particularly easily done when the torsion axis is substantially parallel to the extrusion direction of the extruded molded body. If the torsion axis also passes through the center of the spinning curtain, it can be ensured that the torsion of the spinning curtain acts uniformly and symmetrically on all shaped bodies. A particularly homogeneous shaped body bundle without internal stresses can thus be created in the course of piecing, which the Tendency to piecing errors can further reduce. A particularly reliable and reproducible piecing method can thus be provided.
- the speed of torsion of the spinning curtain can be adapted and tuned by the rotational speed of the torsion means to the required parameters of the spinning device, thus ensuring particularly stable spinning conditions during piecing.
- the desired take-off speed of the shaped bodies from the spinning nozzles and thus the desired molded body properties can be adjusted by the rotational speed of the rotating apparatus, which can reliably prevent the formation of spinning defects.
- the reproducibility of the piecing process can thus be further increased.
- the use of a rotary device to twist the spinning curtain can contribute to the physical relief of the operator of the spinning device, which further simplifies the implementation of the method.
- the operators of the spinning device can be significantly relieved, especially in the initial phase of piecing. This is especially true when the torsion means of the rotary device is accelerated step by step in its rotational speed until a final speed is reached after the ends of the moldings have been deposited. Likewise, it is also conceivable that the rotational speed is accelerated continuously after storage of the molded body. In addition, it is noted that the acceleration of the torsion can be done in linear or non-linear acceleration profiles to optimize the torsion of the moldings according to their properties.
- the torsion means is formed by a rotatable turntable and the axis of rotation of the turntable runs essentially parallel to the extrusion direction of the shaped bodies.
- the torsion of the spinning curtain can be made even more reliable if the ends of the moldings adhere to holding elements of the turntable.
- the holding elements can in fact take with the rotation of the turntable, the ends of the moldings in their rotational movement and rotate the moldings around a common point of contact in the spinning curtain around each other and thus cause the torsion of the spinning curtain.
- an attack region on the shaped body bundle is created by the torsion of the spinning curtain, a particularly advantageous and simple handling of the shaped body bundle can be made possible in the piecing process.
- an attack area on the shaped body bundle this can namely be manipulated and processed further simply and reliably in subsequent method steps.
- the automated, mechanical handling and manipulation of the shaped body bundle is made possible by the defined attack area. If the attack area is also created in the region of the smallest diameter of the twisted shaped-body bundle, a particularly reliable handling of the shaped-body bundle can be achieved.
- the area of the smallest diameter of the shaped-body bundle is essentially at the vertex of the spinning curtain, whereby a simple, in particular machine recognizability of the attack area, for example for fully automatic manipulation of the shaped-body bundle, is provided.
- an attack area on the shaped body bundle with a diameter of 1 to 20 cm, in particular from 3 to 12 cm created, so the piecing process can be further increased in its reproducibility.
- a shaped-body bundle can be distinguished by particularly reliable handling conditions, in particular reliable machine tangibility, in further method steps.
- a particularly simple piecing method can be created if an automatic gripping device grips the shaped body bundle and feeds it to the take-off element of the spinning device.
- An automatic gripping device can be about a gripper on a manipulator arm, which automatically grips the shaped body bundle after torsion, transported to the trigger member via displacement of the manipulator arm and provides it in the trigger member (such as by clamping, clamping, fastening, etc.).
- the gripping device advantageously engages the shaped body bundle on the trained attack area and can thus ensure a high process reliability.
- the method can have a particularly advantageous effect if the shaped-body bundle is provided in the draw-off element only after reaching a terminal speed of the rotary device. This makes it possible, on the one hand, for the shaped-body bundle to be completely formed and to have the necessary properties for further processing and, on the other hand, for the desired properties of the extruded shaped bodies (for example the desired fiber titer) to be achieved.
- the final speed of the rotary device can be determined by the desired molding properties or by the required take-off speed of the moldings from the spinnerets.
- the manipulator arm which provides the shaped body bundle in the take-off member, should advantageously be matched to the extrusion of the shaped bodies, in particular to the withdrawal speed of the shaped bodies, both in terms of movement speed and movement profile. Too rapid movements or unfavorable trigger angles in the course of movement can in turn lead to piecing errors, in particular to the fact that moldings break in the spinning curtain, as a result of which piecing must be carried out again.
- a piecing process with high reproducibility can be provided, which moreover can proceed fully automatically and can offer a significant facilitation in the process sequence for the operator of the spinning plant compared with known processes.
- the piecing process can be further made more reliable if the shaped body bundle is cut off after being gripped by the automatic gripping device.
- the shaped body bundle is trimmed below the engagement region, so that the lower part of the rotating device deposited part of the shaped body bundle is separated. The feeding of the trimmed shaped body bundle to the trigger member can thus be significantly facilitated.
- the invention also relates to a piecing device for piecing a spinning device, comprising a bundling device for bundling molded articles extruded from the spinning nozzles of the spinning device, which bundling device has a rotating device with at least one means rotatable about a rotation axis, wherein the rotatable means is designed such that the shaped articles be summarized via the means to the shaped body bundle.
- the invention has therefore further set itself the task of improving a piecing device of the type mentioned above in that the method for piecing the spinning device - in particular the bundling of the spinning curtain into a shaped body bundle - be performed using the piecing easily and reproducibly and with little effort can.
- the invention solves the problem with regard to the piecing device in that the rotatable means is designed as a torsion means, in particular as a turntable, for torsion of the shaped bodies and the axis of rotation of the torsion means is substantially parallel to the extrusion direction of the shaped bodies.
- the piecing device has a bundling device for bundling the extruded shaped bodies to form a shaped body bundle, and if the rotatable means is designed as a torsion means for torsion of the shaped bodies and if the axis of rotation of the torsion means is substantially parallel to the extrusion direction of the shaped bodies, a particularly stable and simple piecing apparatus can be used a spinning device can be provided, which can further simplify a method for piecing the spinning device on.
- the rotation device with the torsion means may be formed in particular for receiving ends of the extruded molded bodies from the loose spinning curtain, so that the ends of the shaped bodies can be deposited on the torsion means and a torsion of the spinning curtain is generated via the rotational movement of the torsion.
- the rotational movement of the torsion means and associated torsion of the spinning curtain to a shaped body bundle can thus replace the difficult step of bundling the shaped body by a structurally particularly simple device. If the torsion means is designed as a turntable, the torsion of the extruded shaped bodies can take place in a structurally particularly simple manner.
- the turntable is designed to be rotatable substantially parallel to the extrusion direction of the extruded from the spinnerets molding.
- a rotary device for torsion of the existing loose extruded moldings loose spinning curtain can be created about a torsion axis parallel to the extrusion direction of the moldings, which can produce particularly stable and reliable a compact moldings bundle.
- the reliability and stability of the spinning device can thus be further increased overall. This is especially true if the torsion means for torsion of the extruded shaped bodies is formed around a common torsion axis and the torsion axis of the shaped bodies coincides with the axis of rotation of the torsion means.
- the spinning device according to the invention may be particularly suitable for spinning a spinning device for the extrusion of cellulosic moldings from a spinning solution containing water, cellulose and tertiary amine oxide.
- the piecing device can be further increased in its reliability if the torsion means holding elements to increase the adhesion between moldings and torsion means. This in particular if the holding elements are designed as hooks.
- the piecing device additionally has at least one manipulator arm and at least one end effector on the manipulator arm, wherein at least one end effector forms the bundling device, then a sturdy spinning device can be created, which enables simple and reproducible piecing.
- the piecing device can in particular perform the piecing of the spinning device fully automatically to relieve the operator of the spinning device physically and motorically. While in the aforementioned, known spinning devices, a large amount of force is necessary to provide the spinning of the spinneret extruded molding bundles in a trigger member of the spinning device when piecing, the operator can be greatly relieved by the relatively small amount of force required in the spinning device according to the invention.
- the inventive Spinning device characterized by a particularly simple handling and high security in the operation.
- the handling of the spinning device can be further simplified if the piecing device has a first manipulator arm with a first end effector, wherein the first end effector has a gripper for gripping a shaped body bundle.
- the gripper on the first manipulator arm can be designed in such a way that it can reliably grasp the shaped body bundle and supply it to a take-off element of the spinning device.
- the transport of the shaped body bundle from the spinnerets to the take-off member can take place by displacing the first manipulator arm, in particular along freely selectable trajectories in space. It can be dispensed with in a method for piecing the spinning device to the relatively physically strenuous and difficult to reproduce steps of manual Einfädeins the molding bundle. This not only represents a special physical relief for the operators of the spinning device, but also can greatly contribute to increasing the safety against operating errors of the spinning device.
- the piecing device has a second manipulator arm with a second end effector, wherein the second end effector has the bundling device
- a particularly flexible piecing device with a bundling device can be provided, which bundling device is thus displaceable between a use position and a rest position if required.
- the piecing device can therefore respond flexibly to the requirements of the method: for example, the bundling device can be displaced when not in use in a rest position and thus undesirable obstructions are avoided by the bundling device in the spinning device.
- the rotary device can thus be moved in and out between spinnerets and spin bath containers.
- a more reliable spinning device can be provided herewith.
- a structurally simple bundling device can also be created when it is formed by the rotary device.
- the handling of the shaped body bundle by the piecing apparatus can be further improved if the piecing apparatus also has a cutting device for cutting off the shaped body bundle.

- FIG. 4 represents the last method step, wherein first the shaped body bundle 4 reliably held by the gripper 16 is guided by the first manipulator arm 12 through the spinning bath 9 around a deflecting member 26 in the spinning bath container 8. Subsequently, the shaped body bundle 4 is again led out of the spinning bath 8 and in the trigger member 10, which consists in particular of a series of withdrawal godets 27, threaded together. After threading the molding bundle 4 in the drawing-off member 10, a continuous extrusion of the moldings 3 from the spinning nozzles 7 is possible and the piecing process is thus successfully completed.
