Definitions

  • the invention relates to a closable filling device for filling bulk goods from flexible bulk goods containers, in particular a filling mandrel.
  • a flexible bulk goods container is a large sack made of fabric or plastic fabric, which is known as a big bag. In order to completely empty the bigbag quickly, it is usually lifted and the bottom surface cut open with a knife. In order to be able to dose the emptying, filling devices in the form of a mandrel are known, which are pierced with their point first into the plastic fabric from below so that they penetrate as far as the bulk material. The bulk material can be emptied from the flexible bulk material container through openings in the filling device, the filling device having a closure mechanism in order to be able to start and stop the emptying.
  • the DE602004001709T2 shows a gate valve which is present between two rigid disk-shaped elements. At least one of the disk-shaped elements is to be attached to a rigid container. The gate valve cannot form a standing surface for the device, since it is enclosed between the rigidly connected disk-shaped elements.
  • the DE102006057760B3 discloses a linear connector and liner filler that does not have a gate valve.
  • the FR2895728A3 shows a filling device in the form of a filling mandrel for big bags.
  • the filling mandrel has a cylindrical hollow body, at the upper end of which several struts converge to form a point. At a distance from the struts, the filling mandrel has barbs which protrude from the cylindrical hollow body.
  • the cylindrical hollow body has openings above the barbs.
  • the cylindrical hollow body has a closure, which is formed from two adjacent plates, the upper plate being firmly connected to the cylindrical hollow body and having a central opening and the lower plate being designed over the entire surface and pivotable on the upper one with a threaded bolt Plate is attached.
  • the tip of the filling spike is inserted into the big bag until the barbs penetrate the big bag. Then the filling mandrel is pulled back a little so that the barbs rest against the fabric of the big bag from the inside. Bulk material can now penetrate into the cylindrical hollow body between the struts and through the openings above the barbs.
  • the closure is opened by pivoting the lower plate around the threaded bolt and the bulk material passes down through the cylindrical hollow body. Both plates are provided with handles so that the swivel movement can be carried out by hand.
  • the disadvantage is the mounting of the lower plate on the threaded bolt, since the nut or the head of the threaded bolt protrudes from the lower plate and thus the filling mandrel is not level on the ground.
  • the EP 2937291 A1 shows an extension of the device of FIG FR 2895728 A3 around a filling spout, which, if necessary, can be screwed onto the upper plate from below when the filling mandrel is already inserted. Otherwise, the devices are identical, with neither the filling mandrel nor the filling spout having a satisfactory footprint.
  • the above-mentioned devices are used by placing them with the lower plate of the closure on the floor and lowering the flexible bulk material container or big bag from above onto the filling mandrel.
  • the protruding bolt does not provide a level stand.
  • great forces act on the filling mandrel, which can lead to one of the handles, usually the one on the top plate, breaking off.
  • the lower plate can be pushed downwards away from the upper plate, so that bulk material can unintentionally escape or unfavorably high moments act on the bolt and the lower plate, which can lead to damage can.
  • the object on which the invention is based is to improve filling devices for flexible bulk material containers so that the damage mentioned is avoided.
  • a preferred improvement measure according to the invention consists in attaching at least one of the handles to the respective plate so that it can pivot, so that it can be folded away upwards. If too great a moment acts on the handle when the flexible bulk goods container is placed on, it will fold up before damage can occur.
  • the upper plate preferably has an at least approximately square circumference, with the lower plate in the closed state of the filling device covering at least the lower opening area of the upper plate and the corner areas of the at least approximately square circumference and the lower plate being provided with the structure at least in these corner areas , which forms the base and / or four legs of the filling device.
  • the lower plate and the upper plate of the filling device with a structure so that both plates form a common lower surface on which the filling device stands, with the head or the nut of the bolt of the pivoting mechanism not over this common lower surface the upper and lower plate protrudes and the upper plate or its handle at a distance from the contact surface with the lower plate has at least one locking projection, the lower plate being held in the closed state between this locking projection and the contact surface.
  • At least two locking projections are preferably present which hold the lower plate on the upper plate in the closed state. These locking projections preferably have an angle of at least 90 ° to 135 ° to each other and to the bolt (e.g. an angle of 120 ° or 90 ° and 135 ° twice), based on the center of the opening of the hollow body, so that the lower plate is held in the closed position at three spaced points distributed around the circumference of the opening.
  • a handle is attached to each of the upper plate and lower plate, each of which extends approximately horizontally away from the respective plate, the lower surface of the respective handle not protruding downward beyond the standing surface of the filling device.
  • the measure according to the invention to fasten at least one of the levers or handles pivotably on the respective plate so that it can be folded away upwards can also be implemented independently of the other improvements according to the invention, so that the filling device known from the prior art only has at least one Folding handles is improved.
  • the above-described first-tier solution according to the invention of the improved standing area can of course also be provided in order to further improve the filling device.
  • the Figs. 1 to 4 all show the same particularly preferred filling mandrel 1 according to the invention.
  • the filling mandrel 1 has a hollow body 2, which preferably has a cylindrical jacket.
  • several struts 3 run to a point together.
  • four struts 3 evenly distributed over the circumference of the cylinder have proven to be the technically most favorable variant, since three struts 3 would require a very complex injection mold.
  • the hollow body 2 merges into the upper plate 4, which connects to the outside of the cylinder and preferably leaves the inner opening of the hollow body 2 completely open.
  • the hollow body 2, the upper plate 4 and the struts 3 forming the tip are preferably manufactured as a monolithic plastic body in an injection molding process.
  • a pivotable lower plate 5 is provided.
  • the upper plate 4 is provided with a handle 6 and the lower plate 5 is provided with a handle 7, which in the closed state of the closure are preferably diametrically opposite.
  • the upper plate 4 and the lower plate 5 each have a bore through which the bolt 8 runs, the bolt 8 being held pivotably in at least one of these bores.
  • the lower plate 5 can be pivoted about the axis of the bolt 8 in order to free the opening of the hollow body 2 downwards, as in FIG Fig. 3 can be seen.
  • the hollow body 2 has barbs 9 on the outside, which are made of elastic material, so that these are pressed downwards against the hollow body 2 when piercing through the tissue of the big bag so as not to block the opening in the tissue enlarge. If the barbs 9 are moved completely through the tissue, they return to their starting position and spread when they are pulled back against the inside of the tissue. A little above the barbs 9 there are openings 10 in the lateral surface of the hollow body 2 in order to enable the big bag to be emptied almost completely. Alternatively, it would also be possible to attach the barbs 9 further up on the hollow body 2 in order to be able to dispense with the openings 10, as in the alternative embodiment of FIG Fig. 5 is illustrated.
  • the barbs 9, known from the prior art, are in the form of strips of resilient elastic material and are guided inward through slots in the hollow body 2 and fastened above the slots on the inside of the hollow body 2 by rivets.
  • Relatively solid rubber is suitable as a material.
  • the barbs 9 are designed as spring steel plates, which have a kink with an acute angle and are attached below the slots on the inside of the hollow body 2 by rivets or screws, whereby the distance between the barbs 9 to the upper opening surface of the hollow body can be reduced to the Device easier to manufacture, smaller and thus material-saving and more cost-effective.
  • the essential improvement according to the invention relates to the closure or the bottom surface of the filling mandrel 1.
  • the upper plate 4 is provided with a structure 11 which forms part of the standing surface of the filling mandrel 1.
  • the lower plate 5 is provided with a structure 12 which also forms part of the standing surface of the filling mandrel 1.

  • the undersides of the handles 6, 7 can form a flat surface with the standing surface, that is to say terminate coplanar with the structures 11, 12. As in the alternative embodiment of the Fig. 5 shown, the undersides of the handles 6, 7 can also be spaced upwards from the base.
  • the closure has a locking projection 13 which is part of the upper plate 4 or is attached to it.
  • the locking projection 13 is attached so that it holds the lower plate 5 against the upper plate 4 when the lock is closed.
  • the locking projection 13 has a plate-shaped section, the upper surface of which is at a distance from the upper plate 4 and the lower surface of which is preferably coplanar with the standing surface or the structure 11.
  • the edge region of the lower plate 5 enters the gap between the locking projection 13 and the upper plate 4 and in this edge region preferably has a chamfer 16 or a rounded portion in order to facilitate this.
  • the locking projection 13 is, with respect to the lower opening of the hollow body 2, preferably approximately diametrically opposite the bolt 8.
  • the upper plate 4 has two locking projections 13, these preferably close with respect to the lower opening of the hollow body 2 to each other and to the bolt 8 an angle of about 120 ° each.
