Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for transporting and filling sacks, preferably open sacks, comprising a filling device rotatable about a rotation axis with a plurality of filling openings distributed over the circumference of the filling device, and comprising a feeder, with which an empty sack can be fed to a filling opening wherein the feeder comprises at least one holding device for a bag, which is movable normal to the axis of rotation of the filling device.
  • feeders which move in sections with the filling device, so that the filling device can maintain a constant rotational speed.
  • the transfer device has a gripping arm with a gripping unit as a holding device, the gripping arm on the one hand around the gripper arm Transfer device is formed circumferentially to bring the gripping arm after transfer of a bag to the filling device back to the starting position, and the gripping arm on the other hand performs a longitudinal movement, which is at least temporarily adapted to the peripheral speed of the circumferential movement of the filler to a bag to the continuously handed over rotating filling device.
  • this device has the disadvantage that the guidance of the gripping arm by the combination of circumferential movement and longitudinal movement is complex and susceptible to wear. Due to the - in relation to the rotational movement of the filling device - tangential movement of the transfer device this also requires an increased space requirement at the production site.
  • DE 203 09 914 U and DE 10 2011 101040 A1 disclose similar rotary filling machines with holding devices, wherein DE 203 09 914 U with parallel guide rods 23,24 or transport grippers 21,22 and DE 10 2011 101040 A1 with a transfer device 6 try to optimize the performance of the machine by low loss time when attaching an empty bag.
  • Starting point is a device for transporting and filling of bags, preferably of open sacks, comprising a filling device rotatable about a rotation axis with a plurality of filling openings distributed over the circumference of the filling device, and comprising a feeder, with which an empty sack can be fed to a filling opening, wherein the Feeder comprises at least one holding device for a bag, which is movable normal to the axis of rotation of the filling device.
  • the term "normal to the axis of rotation" can in principle include both a component of movement radially to the axis of rotation and a component of motion in the circumferential direction.
  • the holding device has two separate holders, wherein the holders are each along the same open trajectory forward and backward movable, wherein the first holder is movably mounted on the filling device, while the second holder movable on a fixed space guide is stored.
  • first and second holders By separating the first and second holders, they are independently movable and it is easier to define trajectories associated with other parts of the filling device, such as e.g. Filler, do not collide.
  • the first holder advances on a predetermined trajectory to move the empty bag with it at the same speed as the filling device until the bag is attached to the filling device. Then the first holder disengages from the bag and moves back on the same trajectory to take over the next empty bag.
  • the second holder performs the same sequence of movements, usually at the same time as the first holder, thus advancing on a predetermined trajectory to move the empty bag at the same speed as the filling device until the bag is attached to the filling device is. Then the second holder detaches from the bag and travels back on the same trajectory to take over the next empty bag. In any case, since the guide of the first holder is provided on the filling device, no space is consumed radially outside the filling device by this guide.
  • the trajectory followed by the respective holder is open, so it may for example be a straight or curved path.
  • This differs from closed prior art trajectories where the retainer or gripper does not change its direction of travel, but always travels in the same direction along a circular path or other closed curve.
  • First and second holder may be movable parallel to each other in a variant. Their trajectories then run parallel to each other, the holders or their guides then have along the trajectories always the same distance. It would also be conceivable, however, for the trajectories (in the sense of the path predetermined by the guides of the holders) to move away from the first and second holders, for example to assist in opening the empty sack.
  • the first holder is movably mounted within the filling openings and the second holder is movably mounted outside the filling openings.
  • the empty bag can most easily be opened so that the bag opening is located below the filling opening.
  • the guidance of the first holder within the filling openings results in a corresponding saving of space outside the filling openings, so that a possible enclosure of the device according to the invention can be made smaller.
  • the second holder is preferably located at least partially radially within the largest diameter of the filling device.
  • the second holder is in all its possible positions always at least partially radially within the largest diameter of the filling device, and never completely outside.
  • the spatially fixed guide of the second holder can in this case lie radially outside the largest diameter of the filling device. This space savings in the radial direction can be increased even if the spatially fixed guide of the second holder is arranged radially within the largest diameter of the filling device, thus the second holder is arranged completely radially within the largest diameter of the filling device.
  • a particularly simple and compatible with the rotational movement of the filling openings trajectory is obtained when the trajectory of the first and / or the second holder is a portion of a circular path, so a circular arc.
  • the curvature of the portion of the circular path is directed outwards.
  • the center of the circular path lies on the axis of rotation of the filling device.
  • the circular path of the trajectory of the first and / or the second holder is then concentric with the axis of rotation of the filling device.
  • the first and / or the second holder may each comprise a means for sucking.
  • This first and second holder can attack from the outside of the empty bag, this suck in and open. Intervention in the interior of the bag is not necessary.
  • the means for sucking the first and / or the second holder with respect to the rest of the holder is movable radially to the axis of rotation.
  • the means for sucking can be realized by about one or more suction nozzles.
  • the first and / or the second holder each comprise a means for lifting a bag from a transfer position to a filling position.
  • the transfer position where the bag is transferred to the holders may be at a distance below the filling opening, e.g. below the filling, lie.
  • the empty bag In order to allow filling without loss, the empty bag must be lifted from the holders up to the filling opening, preferably beyond the filling opening.
  • These agents may e.g. Be pivoting arms, which then the actual holding means, so about the means for sucking, lift and then lower again.
  • the means for lifting can be designed as a parallelogram.
  • the feeder with which an empty bag can be fed to a filling opening can also comprise a pivoting device with which an empty bag can be pivoted from a storage position, in particular a horizontal position, into a transfer position, in particular a vertical position, for transfer to the holding device.
  • the pivoting device is not in direct communication with the rotating filling device, but is spatially fixed radially outside or next to the filling device. The pivoting device leads to the empty bags of the holding device, this takes them from the pivoting device.
  • the pivoting means may therefore comprise two pivoting arms which grip the folded empty bag at the edges and lift from the horizontal position on a stack located next to the filling device inwardly towards the filling device and at the same time upwardly in the direction of the holding device into a transfer position ,
  • the pivot axis is preferably arranged horizontally, in particular tangentially to an imaginary circle about the axis of rotation of the filling device.
  • the filling device has fixing units in the region of the filling openings, which are designed to hold a bag in the filling position after releasing the holding device at the filling opening.
  • These fixing units may be, for example, to the shape of the filling opening, in particular the shape of a filler neck, adapted brackets which press the bag from the outside against the filling opening, in particular the filler neck.
  • fixation units can be used. A pair can be used for bag handover and clamps the bag only in the center of the filling device, a pair has a shape adapted to the filler neck and surrounds the filler neck.
  • a bag-detachable device that is not co-rotating on the filling device
  • the gripping means of which can be moved, in particular pivotable, normal to the axis of rotation of the filling device, wherein the gripping means along the same open trajectory in the circumferential direction (relative to Axis of rotation of the filling device) are movable forwards and backwards.
  • moving normal to the axis of rotation comprises both a component of motion radial to the axis of rotation and a component of motion in the circumferential direction, ie a movement along and / or tangential to an imaginary circle about the axis of rotation.
  • the gripping means By the movement of the gripping means in the circumferential direction forward, the gripping means can follow the rotation of the filling device while gripping the bag and then pulling it off and, e.g. on another conveyor, settle. In order to grip the next bag, the gripping means must be moved backwards in the circumferential direction. Then they follow the rotation of the conveyor again, and so on.
  • the movement of the gripping means in the circumferential direction can be predetermined by a guide, such as a link, the trajectory can then be a straight or curved path, in particular a circular arc, preferably a circular arc concentric with the axis of rotation of the filling device.
  • the gripping means may be suspended between two pivoting arms with pivot axes parallel to the axis of rotation of the filling device in order to achieve a movement in the circumferential direction.
  • the gripping means of the bag removal device may additionally be movable or pivotable from top to bottom in order to pull a filled bag downwards from the filling opening.
  • a vibrating plate For compacting the bulk material in the bags may be provided below each filling opening a vibrating plate, which from the filling opening is inclined outwards so that filled bags rest on the vibrating plate.
  • a vibrating plate can be used not only for the device according to the invention, but also for any device for transporting and filling bags, preferably open-mouth bags, comprising a filling device rotatable about a rotation axis and having a plurality of filling openings distributed over the circumference of the filling device.
  • a flap which can be pivoted towards the filling opening can be provided in order to support a filled bag in the bottom area.
  • This flap is used to relieve the bag material and thereby causes a bulging of the bag, which in turn gives better filling and thus a reduction in the degree of filling.
  • One or more impacts of the flap on the bottom of the bag when folding up can also contribute to the compression of the bulk material in the bag.
  • the method for transporting and filling bags, preferably open-mouth bags, with a device according to the invention assumes that the filling device rotates at a constant speed with a plurality of filling openings distributed over the circumference of the filling device, with one feeder feeding an empty bag to a filling opening the feeder comprises at least one holding device for a bag, which is movable normal to the axis of rotation of the filling device.
  • two separate holders of the holding device together take over an empty bag at a transfer position, the holders are moved along the open trajectory synchronously forward while the bag is attached to the filling device, the holder release the bag and then the holder respectively along the same open trajectory, in particular synchronously, are moved backwards to the transfer position to take over again an empty bag.
  • synchronous movement is understood to mean that first and second holders move at the same angular velocity and are aligned radially with one another.
  • the forward movement should be done synchronously best, because otherwise the bag, more precisely its opening, has no defined position. It would also conceivable non-synchronous forward movement (and thus a relative movement of the means for suction in the circumferential direction), preferably during the short time of Sack Sacks to facilitate the bag opening, such as when the bags are charged electrostatically.
  • the backward movement of the holder will usually be synchronous, but the holder must be in the transfer position again at the same time.
  • Fig. 1 shows an overview of a device according to the invention for transporting a bag 1.
  • the device comprises a filling device 2, the filling openings are formed by filler neck 3. Above each filling nozzle 3, a hopper 4 is arranged, which is acted upon by a device, not shown, with bulk material.
  • the device further comprises a feeder, which is composed here of a holding device 5 and a pivoting device 6.
  • the device comprises a bag removal device 7 for removing a filled bag from the filling opening of the filler neck 3.
  • a downwardly obliquely arranged vibrating plate 8 is provided, on which the filled bags 1 rest. By shaking the Vibrating plate 8, the bulk material is compacted within the bag 1.
  • a compression could also be provided by a flap 24, which is arranged at the lower end of the vibrating plate 8 and pivotable towards the filling opening.
  • a flap 24 which is arranged at the lower end of the vibrating plate 8 and pivotable towards the filling opening.
  • the flap 24 If the flap 24 has been folded downwards, it can be located, for example, in the same plane as the vibrating plate 8. This flap 24 is used in the folded-up state, where, for example, it is approximately normal to the vibrating plate 8, but in any case to relieve the bag material of the filled bag. 1
  • the filling device 2 has a vertically arranged in the operating state rotary column 9, which is rotatable about a rotation axis 10.
  • the filling device 2 rotates here at a constant speed counterclockwise.
  • the filling device 2 can be moved in accordance with mirrored arrangement of the device according to the invention also in a clockwise direction.

  • the here circular disk-shaped carrier 16 of the filling device 2 carries on the one hand the hopper 4 located above the carrier 16 and the filling nozzle 3 arranged below the carrier 16. The diameter of the carrier 16 thus forms the largest diameter of the filling device 2 in this example.
  • the holding device 5 is in Fig. 1 the first holder 12, which is movably mounted on the filling device 2, largely concealed by the filler neck 3. Only the second holder 13 can be seen, which is movably mounted on a fixed space guide.
  • the solid guide 14 is formed here as a curved guide rail, and is spatially fixed in the sense that it is not attached to the filling device 2 and thus not co-rotated with the filling device 2.
  • the guide 14 may for example be attached to a housing surrounding the device according to the invention.

  • the holder 12, 13 need not necessarily be located at the beginning of the guide 14.
  • the pivoting device 6 can, in the vertical position of the bag 1 (see Fig. 5-7 ), also wait for the retracting holders 12, 13. Also, an alignment with the filling opening must not be given, this is only after the opening of the bag 1, namely during the attachment of the bag 1, required.
