Definitions
- the invention relates to a holding part for tensile holding a pin-shaped contact element with a housing having a receiving space for receiving the contact element and at least one projecting into the interior of the receiving space and radially deflectable primary fuse.
- the primary fuse has an axial stop on which a projection of the contact element can strike, so that the contact element accommodated in the receiving space is secured in the holding part in a pulling direction directed counter to an insertion direction.
- the invention relates to a contact holder with a holding part according to the invention and a contact element held in tension thereto.
- a pin-shaped contact element is generally understood to be an elongated electrical contact for transmitting electrical voltage or electrical signals, such as, for example, a contact pin, an inner conductor of a cable or the like.
- a contact element held in a tensile-resistant manner on a holding part can also be pulled under tensile force do not pull out of the holding part in a pulling direction.
- a holding part may be a part of a connector such as an insulating part of a plug, a female connector, a socket, a coupler, a mounting socket or the like. be, wherein in the holding part, for example, attached to a cable end Contact element is held such that even with a pulling action on the cable slipping out of the contact element is reliably prevented from the holding part.
- a Switzerland tarter be provided with an axial stop on which abuts a projection of the contact element when a tensile force in the pulling direction acts on the contact element, so that withdrawal of the contact element from the holding member in the axial direction is prevented (both the insertion direction as well as the pulling direction opposite to the insertion direction are substantially parallel to the axial direction of the contact element).
- the train protection is arranged radially deflectable, so that the projection of the contact element during assembly on the radially deflected paragraph past is easily inserted into the receiving space.
- From the EP 1 524 730 A1 is a holding part for tensile holding a contact element with a housing having a receiving space for receiving the contact element known. Furthermore, the holding part according to the EP 1 524 730 A1 a primary fuse in order to secure the contact element in a pulling direction directed counter to an insertion direction, and the holding part according to the EP 1 524 730 A1 has a secondary fuse to prevent radial deflection of the primary fuse.
- From the EP 2 416 454 A1 is also a holding part for tensile holding a pin-shaped contact element with a housing having a receiving space for receiving the contact element known. Furthermore, the holding part according to the EP 2 416 454 A1 a fuse to secure the contact element in a directed against an insertion direction pulling direction.
- From the US 2002/0168896 A1 is another holding part for the tensile strength holding a pin-shaped contact element with a housing having a receiving space for receiving the contact element known. Furthermore, the holding part according to the US 2002/0168896 A1 two locking elements to secure the contact element in a direction opposite to an insertion direction pulling direction.
- From the GB 2 422 255 A is another holding part for tensile strength holding a pin-shaped contact element with a housing having a receiving space for receiving the contact element known that has a fuse to secure the contact element in a direction opposite to an insertion direction pulling direction.
- the holding part according to the invention is characterized by a in a securing position at least partially radially outside of the primary fuse adjacent secondary fuse to prevent the radial deflection of the primary fuse.
- the invention is based on the knowledge that although the radial deflection of the primary fuse while mounting the contact element in the receiving space can be simplified, but on the other hand, even if the primary fuse presses under a bias against the contact element, it is not excluded that the Primary fuse slides over the projection of the contact element and thus releases the contact element in the pulling direction.
- Such a "levering" of the elastic primary fuse threatens, for example, when exposed to a particularly high or oblique tensile force. This levering is prevented in the holding part according to the invention by the secondary fuse securing the primary fuse.
- a particularly effective securing of the primary fuse against a radial deflection of the same is made possible by the fact that the primary fuse has a parallel to the insertion direction extending outer contact surface on which rests in the securing position parallel to an inner bearing surface of the secondary fuse.
- the two surface abutting contact surfaces of primary and secondary fuse can be curved at least in sections in the circumferential direction and, for example, be designed as a cylinder jacket partial surfaces, or they can alternatively be formed as a plane and parallel to the insertion direction extending (guide) surfaces.
- the secondary fuse is arranged so displaceable relative to the primary fuse in an axial direction, that a space for a possible axial compensation movement of the received in the receiving space contact element can be adjusted by displacement of the secondary fuse.
- the secondary fuse from a first securing position in the axial direction in a second securing position and / or vice versa adjustable be set, the secondary fuse in each of the fuse positions at least partially radially outwardly applied to the primary fuse and thus prevents radial deflection of the primary fuse.
- this displacement of the secondary fuse slides in the axial direction extending inner bearing surface of the secondary fuse along the adjoining outer contact surface of the primary fuse.
- the secondary fuse preferably has a further axial stop for the projection of the contact element.
- the contact element is not only secured in the pulling direction, but also in this opposite direction of insertion.
- the attacks of primary fuse and secondary fuse are facing each other such that the projection or a plurality of projections of the contact element are receivable therebetween and depending on the axial position of the contact element on one or the other stop.
- the distance between the axial stop of the primary fuse and the further axial stop of the secondary fuse in the second securing position is greater than in the first securing position.
- the distance may, for example, substantially correspond to an axial dimension of the projection, in which case no axial compensation of the contact element is possible, so that the contact element is held substantially immovably in the axial direction with respect to the holding part.
- the distance can be more than 1.5 times, preferably more than 2 times as large as the axial dimension of the projection and particularly preferably more than 1 mm, in particular more than 2 mm larger than this.
- the contact element is then with an axial play of more held as 1 mm, in particular 2 mm or more tensile strength in both directions in the holding part.
- the holding part according to the invention has a fixing mechanism for fixing the secondary fuse in one or more securing positions.
- a holding mechanism may be provided by which a detachment of the secondary fuse is prevented by the housing.
- a particularly effective primary safety device is characterized by an inner surface facing the receiving space, which extends in such a way that it gradually tapers the clear width of the receiving space in the insertion direction, at least in sections.
- the primary fuse When inserting the contact element in the receiving space, the primary fuse is gradually pressed by the inner surface facing the projection of the contact element to the outside until the projection engages behind the primary fuse.
- the tapering inner surface of the transverse, in particular approximately perpendicular to the insertion radially outwardly extending axial stop can be connected.
- the clear width of the receiving space is smaller than the contact element in the region of the projection, so that the contact element can only be moved past the primary fuse after it has been pushed away.
- the inner wall of the primary fuse After insertion of the contact element, the inner wall of the primary fuse at least partially abut closely against the contact element, so that both a positive and a non-positive connection between the contact element and holding part is made.
- the secondary fuse is part of a second housing part which is displaceably held on the housing in the axial direction, such as a cap with a side wall which continues the receiving space in the direction of insertion.
- the cap preferably has attachment means for attachment to the housing, the attachment allowing guided axial movement from the first securing position to the second securing position and vice versa.
- a front end of the contact element may project beyond a front end of the cap.
- the cap may have a passage opening for passing through the contact element.
- the primary safety device preferably has an elastically resiliently arranged flap part, such as a leaf spring part, which is set up in such a way that it is biased radially outwards during the insertion of the contact element into the receiving space by a projection of the contact element and engages behind the projection.
- an elastically resiliently arranged flap part such as a leaf spring part
- the primary fuse can be integrally formed, in particular in one piece with the housing.
- the primary fuse and the remaining housing sections are made of a non-conductive material such as a plastic.
- the housing together with the associated primary fuse can be molded integrally from the plastic material.
- the cap may be integrally molded together with the secondary fuse connected thereto from an insulating material such as a plastic material.
- the invention relates to a holding part for tensile holding a contact element with a housing having a receiving space for receiving the contact element and at least one projecting into the receiving space and radially deflectable arranged primary fuse with an axial stop on which a projection of the received in the receiving space contact element can strike, so that the contact element is secured in the direction opposite to the insertion direction pulling direction.
- the holding part may have an additional primary fuse in the form of a likewise extending into the interior of the receiving space above additional assurance with an axial securing stop for the projection of the contact element.
- the projection of the contact element strikes at a force acting on the contact element tensile force on both the stop of the primary fuse and on the securing stop of the additional assurance and is thus doubly secured in the pulling direction.
- the additional security differs from the primary security in particular in that it is rigid and not resilient or resiliently arranged in the radial direction.
- both the primary fuse and the additional fuse on the inside width of the receiving space in the insertion at least partially gradually tapered inner surface to allow for the assembly as smooth as possible sliding of the projection over the paragraphs away.
- the stop or securing stop which extends approximately radially outward, advantageously adjoins the inner surfaces, so that the projection of the contact element can engage behind the primary securing device or behind the additional securing device.
- the above-explained secondary fuse can be provided, which rests radially on the outside of the primary fuse in order to prevent the radial deflection of the primary fuse in a securing position.
- the secondary fuse may be part of a second housing part, such as a cap, which is attached to the housing after insertion of the contact element into the receiving space.
- the additional securing device prefferably be arranged essentially in the direction of insertion at the level of the primary securing device.
- the stop of the primary fuse can lie approximately in the same radial plane as the securing stop of the additional fuse.
- a single circumferential projection of the contact element such as a collar, can be simultaneously secured to both the stopper and the securing stopper.
- the projection is held by the primary fuse at the same time both behind the axial stop of the primary fuse and behind the securing stop.
- the contact element may have more than one projection, for example two or three projections which are spaced apart from one another in the insertion direction.
- more than one elastic primary fuse and / or more than one inelastic additional fuse can be provided in the same radial plane, which are, for example, spaced apart in the circumferential direction.
- the additional fuse of the primary fuse is just opposite, that is, if the additional fuse is spaced in the circumferential direction by about 180 ° from the primary fuse is particularly advantageous. Then presses the primary fuse namely the contact element particularly effective in the recess behind the securing paragraph.
- the invention relates to a contact holder with a holding part according to the invention and a pin-shaped contact element held tensile in its receiving space.
- a "pin-shaped contact element” is an elongate contact element, such as a contact pin, an inner contact or the like. Understood.
- the contact element is preferably, but not necessarily substantially rotationally symmetrical, for example, designed approximately cylindrical.
- one or more radially outwardly projecting projections may be provided, which preferably have front and / or rear side surfaces extending perpendicular to the insertion direction, so that the side surfaces can lie flat against the stops which are also perpendicular to the insertion direction.
- the projection is formed as an annular collar, which rotates in a ring-like manner over a substantially cylindrical base part of the contact element. In this way, it is ensured that the fuses of the holding part engage independently of the rotational position of the contact element behind the projection.
- the contact element may have more than one projection, each one the projections may be associated with a primary fuse and / or an additional fuse.
- the pointing in the direction of insertion side surface of the projection is preferably facing the axial stop of the secondary fuse, while the pointing in the direction of the pulling direction side surface of the projection is preferably facing the axial stop of the primary fuse and / or the securing stop of the additional assurance.
- the holding part has two or more juxtaposed receiving spaces, each having at least one primary fuse, secondary fuse and / or additional fuse for each contact element.
- a two- or multi-core cable or a wire bundle can be coupled to the holding part and is then connected tensile strength with this.
- the holding part is an insulating part for the tensile strength receiving the cable end of a (possibly unshielded) twisted pair cable with two twisted wires to which, if necessary, in each case a contact pin is attached.
- the holding part is part of a connector such as a HSD coupler.
- Fig. 1 shows a portion of a holding part 10 according to the invention with a contact element 100 received therein schematically in a longitudinal section.
- the cutting plane runs parallel to the insertion direction E, in which the contact element 100 is inserted into the holding part 10, or parallel to the oppositely directed pulling direction Z.
- the holding part 10 has a housing 20 with a receiving space 22 for receiving the contact element 100 and a second housing part 45 attached to the housing 22.
- the second housing part 45 forms a side wall 48 which continues the receiving space 22 in the insertion direction E.
- the housing 20 is an insulating part of a connector such as a coupler, and the second housing part 45 forms a cap covering a front portion of the coupler.
- the housing 20 has an elastically formed primary fuse 30 connected thereto, and the second housing part 45 has an associated secondary fuse 40 for securing the primary fuse 30 against an elastic deflection in a securing position.
- a contact element 100 is held tensile strength in the form of a contact pin.
- the contact element 100 can not be pulled out of the receiving space 22 even under application of a tensile force in the pulling direction Z.
- a projecting from a substantially cylindrical base portion of the contact element 100 radially outwardly projecting projection 110 on an axial stop 32 of the primary fuse 30.
- the axial stop 32 of the primary fuse 30 is formed by an in the insertion direction E front surface of an obliquely from a side wall of the housing 20 in the direction of the contact element 100 protruding tab portion.
- the inner surface 36 of the flap part extends in the insertion direction E gradually in the direction of the contact element 100, up to a contact region 39, in which the flap part fits tightly against the contact element 100. Because of this gradually tapering course of the receiving space 22 up to the contact area 39, the flap part when inserting the contact element 100 into the receiving space 22 by the projection 110 gradually pushed radially outward until the stop 32 springs back behind the projection 110 against.
- the inner wall 36 abruptly in the perpendicular to the insertion direction E extending stop 32, so that upon application of force to the contact element in the pulling direction Z springing back of the flap part is prevented, at least at only a moderate tensile force.
- the primary fuse 30 is designed to be deflectable in the radial direction R for the purpose of simple mounting of the contact element 100.
- a radial deflection of the primary fuse 30 in any case to prevent, since thereby the contact element 100 would be released in the pulling direction Z. That is why in the in the Figures 1 and 2 illustrated securing position outside of the primary fuse 30, the secondary fuse 40 for securing the primary fuse 30 against a radial deflection provided.
- the secondary fuse 40 which is preferably formed integrally with the second housing part 45 made of plastic, has a parallel to the insertion direction E extending, the primary fuse 30 facing inner bearing surface 44 which rests against a parallel thereto extending outer bearing surface 34 of the primary fuse 30.
- This course of the two contact surfaces 34, 44 is particularly important because it allows a guided displacement of the second housing part 45 relative to the housing 20 in or against the insertion direction E while maintaining the securing effect of the secondary fuse 40.
- a first securing position I in which the second housing part 45 is pushed far in the direction of the housing 20.
- a distance A between the axial stop 32 of the primary fuse 30 and a further axial stop 42 of the secondary fuse is only slightly larger than an axial dimension of the projection 110, which is arranged between the two stops 32, 42.
- the contact element 100 in this position only a small clearance in the axial direction.
- secondary fuse 40 has several stages outwardly extending sections.
- the outer abutment surface 34 of the primary fuse 30 abuts in the securing position, an outer surface of the protrusion 110 abuts against the inner surface 47 of a middle step 47, and an outer surface of a base section of the inner step 43 of an inner step Contact element 100 abut.
- the diameter of the receiving space 22 is respectively adapted to the diameter of the contact element 100, whereby a particularly stable guidance of the contact element 100 in the axial direction is made possible.
- the housing 20 in addition to the elastic primary fuse 30 on an inelastic additional fuse 50.
- the additional safety device 50 has an axial safety stop 52, which lies substantially in the same radial section plane as the stop 32 of the primary safety device 30.
- the additional safety device 50 is located substantially opposite the primary safety device 30 within the receiving space 22.
- the auxiliary fuse 50 has a clear width of the receiving space 22 in the insertion direction E gradually tapering inner surface along which the projection 110 slides during insertion and the opposite primary fuse 30 while gradually pushing out until the projection 110 behind the two stops 32nd 52, wherein the primary fuse 30, which is pretensioned at that time, springs back inward.
- the clear width of the receiving space 22 at its narrowest point between primary fuse 30 and additional fuse 50 is thus smaller than the diameter of the contact element 100 in the region of the projection 110.
- the diameter of the receiving space 22 substantially the diameter of the contact element 100 in the region of the projection 110 correspond, so that the contact element in the region of the stop between the stops 32, 42 arranged projection 110 is stably displaced in the axial direction, since it has no radial play.
- the second housing part 45 is fastened to the housing 20 in a displaceable manner in the axial direction via a fixing mechanism (not shown).
- a particularly reliable securing of the contact element 100 in the receiving space 22 of the holding part 10 against acting tensile forces is given when the holding part has both the primary and the secondary and the additional assurance. Because of the secondary fuse 40 not only the primary fuse, but indirectly also the inelastic additional fuse 50 is secured.
- an inventive holding part 10 is conceivable that only the primary fuse and the secondary fuse or only the primary fuse and the auxiliary fuse.
- a manufacturing process for producing a contact holder according to the invention comprises the following steps: First, the contact element 100 is inserted in the insertion direction E in the receiving space 22 of the holding part 10, wherein the outside of the primary fuse 30 is still no secondary fuse 40 is arranged, so that the primary fuse 30 radially is deflectable to the outside. As a result, the projection 110 slides under deflection of the primary fuse 30 over the stops 32, 52 of primary fuse 30 and additional fuse 50 away (the flap part springs back) until the primary fuse 30 snaps back behind the projection 110, so that the contact element 100 upon application of force in the pulling direction Z is held tensile.
- the secondary housing 40 having the second housing part 45 is so connected to the housing 20, as shown in the Figures 1 and 2 is shown, so that the holding part 10 is in the securing position.
- the contact element 100 is secured by the further axial stop 42 of the second housing part 45 even with a tensile force in the insertion direction E.
