  • the DE 298 24 156 U1 an extractor hood device consisting of a chimney pipe attached to the wall or the ceiling, a blower located in the chimney pipe, a filter system arranged in the chimney pipe, a screen received by the chimney pipe, a lighting arrangement and an electrical control for the blower and lighting arrangement.
  • the vapor filters are combined with other components of the device in a basic unit, which are arranged as a module in a modular design in a tubular housing, and that the basic unit is designed to be fastened either to the side wall of the room or to the ceiling.
  • the metal grease filter elements, to which an active carbon filter can be assigned in parallel, are arranged at an angle to one another.
  • the upper sides of the filter elements are held in profile sections which are part of a profile carrier in which the lighting is arranged.
  • the undersides are held in profile rail sections, which are part of profile rails, which serve as a holder for the chimney cladding and as a support for the screen of the extractor hood.
  • the fan of the extractor hood is located above the filter elements.
  • an extractor hood system with a separate filter housing.
  • an extractor hood is arranged in the area of the hotplate and the filter housing is connected to the extractor hood via at least one line piece and can be installed in the room independently of the extractor hood.
  • JP 2000 11 6530 A describes a stove in which a gas burner is arranged under a table and exhaust air from the burner is drawn into a suction line through suction openings. Contamination is removed from the exhaust air by two filters. The fan is downstream of the filters.
  • EP 1 705 430 A1 discloses an extractor hood with grease filter.
  • the extractor hood has a grease filter with two filter plates on which the air falls at an angle.
  • a fan can be arranged above the grease filters, which attracts the vapors through the extractor hood.
  • odor filters such as, for example, activated carbon filters
  • filters are, for example, enclosed in cassettes and inserted into a channel, in particular the chimney of the extractor hood.
  • a disadvantage of this arrangement of odor filters is that the inflow area of the odor filter is small due to the small space available above the fan, in particular due to the small width and height.
  • an extractor hood with a blower and an air duct which is arranged between an intake opening and an outlet opening connectable to an exhaust pipe.
  • a filter is arranged in the course of the air duct in the region of the blow-out opening and / or in the exhaust pipe, through which a part of the air flow conveyable through the air duct can be blown out.
  • the filter can have a wall in which openings are made.
  • the filter material is arranged behind the wall.
  • the filter material can be covered on the outside by an outer surface, for example a perforated plate.
  • a disadvantage of this extractor hood is that the filter is difficult to access and the height of the filter must be large to achieve an efficient odor removal.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to provide a solution with which the efficiency of the air purification of odorous substances can be increased with a simple construction and simple handling of the extractor hood and the available space above the fan can be used efficiently.
  • the invention is based on the finding that this object can be achieved by arranging the at least one filter element in the space above the fan of the extractor hood to be inclined to the direction of flow of the air flow emerging from the fan or the fan box in which the fan is arranged .
  • the invention therefore relates to an extractor hood with the features according to claim 1.
  • a filter carrier is understood to be a component on which at least one filter element can be held, in particular can be attached or inserted.
  • the filter carrier is preferably a separate component, that is to say is not preassembled with other parts of the extractor hood.
  • the filter holder can be retrofitted in an extractor hood and used, for example, as an additional part.
  • the filter carrier also serves, according to the invention, to guide air to the at least one filter element.
  • an interior space is preferably formed in the filter carrier, to which the at least one filter element adjoins.
  • the odor filter element that can be held in the filter carrier is also referred to below as the filter element.
  • the filter element has filter material that is suitable for absorbing odorous substances.
  • the filter material can therefore comprise activated carbon and / or other suitable adsorbers.
  • the extractor hood in which the filter support is used can have any shape according to the invention.
  • the filter holder can be used in so-called Essen, which has a viewing hood and a chimney arranged above it.
  • the filter carrier for example to be used in an extractor hood which has a hood body which is arranged in front of a cuboid base body and which represents a duct.
  • At least one input surface for the entry of air into the filter carrier is provided on the filter carrier.
  • the area of an opening is referred to as the entrance area.
  • the opening can be provided in a wall of the filter carrier and in particular in the bottom of the filter carrier. Alternatively or additionally, the opening can be formed, for example, by a pipe socket which is attached to a wall, in particular the bottom, of the filter carrier.
  • the entrance surface in the extractor hood is preferably horizontal.
  • the underside is the side which is directed downward and is flown by the air flow.
  • the top is the corresponding opposite side of these components.
  • the underside of the filter carrier, in particular the bottom of the filter carrier, is preferably horizontal when installed.
  • a device that holds the filter element in a fixed position relative to the input surface is referred to as a filter receptacle, which is provided on the filter carrier according to the invention.
  • the filter holder can at least partially surround the filter element.
  • the filter receptacle represents a contact surface on the filter carrier on which the filter element can be placed.
  • the connection between the filter element and the filter receptacle is preferably designed such that it can be produced and released without tools.
  • the filter element can therefore be connected to the filter carrier by means of placing, latching, pushing in or other releasable connection types.
  • the filter receptacle is designed such that it has at least partially an opening on its underside and top.
  • the opening on the underside is also referred to below as the inlet opening and the opening on the upper side as the outlet opening.
  • the filter element is provided in the filter receptacle in such a way that the air inlet side is in contact with the inlet opening and the air outlet side is in contact with the outlet opening.
  • the filter holder is arranged inclined to the input surface of the filter carrier.
  • An inclined arrangement is an arrangement of the filter holder at an angle not equal to zero between the surface of the input surface of the filter carrier and the surface of an inlet opening of the filter holder.
  • the inlet opening here designates the area through which air from the filter carrier can enter the filter receptacle and thus also a filter element provided in or on the filter receptacle.
  • the surface of the entrance surface and the surface of the inlet opening are not parallel to one another.
  • the air that enters the filter carrier via the input surface does not flow perpendicularly to the inlet opening of the filter holder and thus to an air inlet side of the filter element.
  • a build-up of air at the inlet opening and thus on the air inlet side can therefore be avoided.
  • the inclined arrangement of the filter holder allows the size of the inlet opening and thus the air inlet side of the filter element to be increased compared to a horizontal orientation of the filter holder given the horizontal dimensions of the available space in the extractor hood. As a result, the efficiency of air cleaning on the filter element can be increased.
  • the filter carrier has two filter receptacles, which are arranged inclined to one another and to the input surface.
  • inclined to each other means that the inlet openings of the filter holder are not in one plane. This minimizes the installation space required in the vertical direction.
  • the inflow conditions in the region which is furthest away from the input surface would also be adversely affected. The upper area of such an arrangement would then be spaced so far from the input surface that the inflow velocity would be low there.
  • the angle between the inlet openings of the two filter receptacles is less than 180 °, preferably less than 90 °.
  • the inlet openings of the filter receptacle face one another and delimit an intermediate space such that it there is a targeted airflow to the inlet openings of the filter holder.
  • the height of the required installation space is also relatively small in this embodiment.
  • the height of the filter receptacle can be large in this embodiment and thus a large filter area can be made available for filtering out odorous substances from the air.
  • the filter element can be attached or inserted in or on the filter receptacle in different ways.
  • at least one of the side surfaces, namely the front side surface, of the filter receptacles is formed by an insertion opening for inserting at least one filter element.
  • the side surfaces of the filter receptacle here are the surfaces that extend, preferably vertically, between the inlet opening and an opposite outlet opening of the filter receptacle.
  • the filter holder has a rectangular cross section.
  • the front side surface is understood to be the side surface which, in the assembled state of the filter carrier in the extractor hood, faces forward, that is to say faces the user.
  • the filter element can be introduced, in particular inserted, into the filter receptacle in a targeted manner.
  • no wall is preferably provided on the side surface which represents the insertion opening, or a correspondingly large recess is made in a wall.
  • the filter holder preferably has a box shape or cuboid shape.
  • webs are provided at least on the side of the filter receptacle in which the inlet opening lies, and preferably also on the side of the filter receptacle in which the outlet opening lies, which hold the filter element in the vertical direction of the filter receptacle.
  • a box-shaped filter element By having the wall recessed on only one side surface, a box-shaped filter element, for example, is thus securely held by the other five sides after insertion. Thus, moving the filter element in the Filter uptake and with regard to the filter carrier can be prevented. Such a shift would be feared, for example, due to vibrations caused by the fan of the extractor hood.
  • the insertion opening is provided in the front side surface of the filter holder. This makes it easier for the user to remove and insert the filter element, since the user can access the front of the filter holder. Compared to inserting the filter element over the upper side wall of the filter holder, the height to which the filter element must be brought for the replacement is also lower, so that the user can carry out the filter replacement without aids, such as a ladder, if necessary.
  • the filter carrier comprises a frame for holding the at least one filter receptacle.
  • the frame can be formed in one piece with the filter holder or with the filter holders.
  • suitable connecting means such as, for example, tabs.
  • the alignment of the filter elements to the air flow in the extractor hood can be specified and does not have to be set by the user.
  • the provision of a frame also allows the filter elements to be retrofitted or introduced into an extractor hood without any structural changes being necessary. In particular, no guides for individual filter receptacles or individual filter elements have to be provided on the extractor hood. This simplifies the entire structure of the extractor hood.
  • the input surface of the filter carrier which is preferably provided in the bottom of the filter carrier and in particular in the bottom of a frame of the filter carrier, can have different shapes.
  • the entrance area have a rectangular cross section.
  • the entrance surface represents a round recess.
  • a circular recess is preferably understood to be a recess with a circular diameter.
  • the odor filters are provided in extractor hoods, in particular above the fan and the fan box in which the fan, which is also referred to as a fan, is arranged.
  • the fan box generally has a rectangular shape and has an outlet nozzle on the top that has a round cross section.
  • the input surface preferably also has a round cross section and has a diameter which is equal to the outer diameter of the outlet connector or slightly larger than this outer diameter.
  • the outlet connector can be introduced into the input surface.
  • the filter carrier can thus be placed on the fan box and is fixed in the horizontal direction by the outlet connection in the input surface. This configuration therefore simplifies the entire structure of the extractor hood and simplifies the introduction of the filter carrier into the extractor hood.
  • One advantage of the extractor hood according to the invention is that, due to the alignment of the filter holder / filter holders in the filter carrier, an improved cleaning of the air from odors can be achieved. In addition, due to the arrangement of the filter receptacles, the noise during operation of the extractor hood and the cleaning of the air is reduced.
  • the extractor hood has a fan box and the filter carrier is placed on the fan box.
  • This embodiment which has already been described above, has the advantages mentioned above.
  • the overall structure of the extractor hood is simplified in this embodiment, since no separate holder for the filter holder has to be provided on the extractor hood.
  • the extractor hood can therefore be easily retrofitted with the filter holder.
  • the filter material is a flat body and the depth of this body extends at least partially inclined to the depth direction of the filter holder of the filter carrier in the filter element.
  • the body of the filter material is preferably a thin mat or a nonwoven, which is folded into the filter element.
  • the fold is preferably such that the deflection points of the folds lie on the air outlet side and the air inlet side of the filter element.
  • the length of the deflection points is preferably in the width direction of the filter element.
  • the deflection points run from the upper edge of the inlet opening or the air inlet side to the lower edge of the inlet opening or the air inlet side.
  • This meandering design of the filter material in the filter element realizes the amount of filter material with a low height of the filter element.
  • the folds and in particular the length of the deflection points lie in the width direction of the filter element, air which flows against the filter elements from the inlet surface of the filter carrier can flow along the deflection points from the lower edge of the air inlet side to the upper edge of the air inlet side, so that it can also reliably come to an air inlet at the upper end of the air inlet side of the built-in filter element. If the folds are aligned in such a way that the length of the deflection points extends in the depth direction of the filter element, the entry of air at the upper edge of the air inlet side of the installed filter element may be hindered by deflection points below.
  • the depth of the filter element is the dimension that extends in the inserted state into the filter carrier in the depth direction of the filter carrier and thus in the installed state of the filter carrier in the depth direction of the extractor hood.
  • the dimension is referred to as the width, which extends into the filter carrier in the width direction of the filter carrier when it is inserted and thus extends in the width direction of the extractor hood when the filter carrier is installed.
  • the filter carrier is arranged in a covering part of the extractor hood.
  • the facing part preferably represents a duct or a duct part.
  • the filter carrier is thus covered by the duct part during operation of the extractor hood and is therefore not visible to the user. Since, according to the preferred embodiment, the filter carrier is covered by a covering part, access to the filter carrier and in particular to the filter elements provided therein or thereon can be easily made possible by removing the covering part. It is not necessary to remove other parts.
  • FIG. 1 a schematic view of an embodiment of the extractor hood 1 according to the invention is shown.
  • the extractor hood 1 represents a so-called wall mount.
  • the extractor hood 1 consists of a viewing hood 10 and a chimney 11 which extends upward above the viewing hood 10.
  • the chimney 11 consists of two facing parts 110.
  • the upper facing part 110 is shifted downward in the view shown. This ensures access to the interior of the chimney 11 in the upper area.
  • a filter arrangement 20 according to an embodiment of the invention is provided in the chimney 11.
  • the filter arrangement 20 consists of a filter carrier 22 and filter elements 21 introduced into the filter carrier 22.
  • the filter carrier 22 consists of a frame 221 which has a wedge-shaped cross section.
  • a filter receptacle 220 is provided on the inclined surfaces of the wedge-shaped cross section.
  • a filter element 21 is inserted in each of the filter receptacles 220.
  • the filter carrier 22 is on the fan box 30, which is in the chimney 11, from which in Figure 2 only the rails for fastening the facing parts 110 can be seen, is placed on.
  • the fan box 30 has a rectangular base body, on the upper side of which an outlet connection 31 is provided, via which air can escape from the fan box 30.
  • This outlet connector 31 is in the input surface 222 (see Figure 5 ) introduced the filter carrier 22.
  • the width of the filter carrier 22 is dimensioned such that it corresponds to the distance between the rails for holding the facing parts 110 of the chimney 11 and is preferably only slightly smaller than the inner width of the chimney 11.

  • the filter element 21 consists of a frame 212 and a filter material 213 held in the frame 212.
  • the filter material 213 consists, as in FIG Figure 4 is shown, from a flat body, for example a thin mat or layer. This flat body is folded in the frame 212.
  • deflection points are formed on the air inlet side 211, which represents the underside of the filter element 21, and on the opposite air outlet side 210, which represents the top side of the filter element 21.
  • a deflection point on the air outlet side 210 follows in each case an opposite deflection point on the air inlet side 211.
  • the filter material 213 is thus meandering in the frame 212.
  • the length of the deflection points on the air outlet side 210 and the air inlet side 211 in the embodiment shown extend in the width direction of the filter element 21.
  • a filter element 21 can also comprise two superimposed frames 212 with filter material 213 arranged in a meandering manner, as in FIG Figure 3 is indicated by the line at the edge of the frame 212.
  • the length of the deflection points is such that they extend in the vertical projection onto the bottom of the filter carrier 22 in the width direction of the filter carrier 22. This is in Figure 5 to recognize.
  • FIG 6 a perspective view of an embodiment of the filter carrier 22 with inserted filter elements 21 is shown.
  • the embodiment corresponds to that in Figure 1 shown embodiment.
  • two filter receptacles 220 are provided on the frame 221, each of which has a box shape.
  • an outlet opening 2201 and an inlet opening 2202 are respectively introduced. These are delimited at the edge by webs 2206.
  • the filter material 213 of the filter element 21 introduced into the filter receptacle 220 can be seen through the outlet opening 2201.
  • no wall is provided on the front side surface 2203 of the filter holder 220.
  • the front side surface 2203 is completely formed by an insertion opening 2204 for the filter element 21.
  • Walls are provided on the other three side surfaces 2203 of the filter holder 220.
  • the undersides of the filter receptacles 220 are formed by an inlet opening 2202 which are delimited at the edge by webs 2206.
  • the filter receptacles 220 are attached to the frame 221 via tabs 2207 on the top.
  • the tabs 2207 are provided on the lower ends of the upper side surfaces 2203 of the filter receptacle 220.
  • tabs 2205 are provided on the top of the filter receptacles 220, which are perpendicular to the plane of the air outlet side 210 of the filter receptacle 220 extend and are provided on the front and back. Via these tabs 2205, the filter receptacles 220 can rest on the rails of the chimney 11 or on the facing parts 110 of the chimney 11 and thus prevent the filter carrier 22 from pivoting.
  • the lower side surface 2203 of the filter receptacles 220 is held in the lower region by an edge of the frame 221, that is to say it rests on it.
