Definitions

  • the invention relates to a combination appliance and a kitchen appliance with a combination appliance.
  • extractor devices through which the air is sucked in through a filter and cleaned on the filter.
  • the extractor device can be an extractor hood which is arranged above a cooktop and sucks air upwards.
  • fume extractor devices are also known in which air is sucked downwards from a hob.
  • These extractor devices can also be referred to as downdraft fans.
  • the extractor device is arranged adjacent to the hob.
  • the fan can also be arranged under the hob and only one intake duct extends through the hob.
  • a vapor extraction device is, for example, in DE 92 12 278 U1 described.
  • the fan of the fume extraction device is arranged in a housing which is located at a distance from the hob under the hob.
  • a disadvantage of this embodiment of the extractor device is that, on the one hand, the air is cleaned only via filter elements that are in the suction connection, which is located above the hob. On the other hand, due to the arrangement of the housing of the fan at a distance from the hob, the suction power of the vapor extraction device is reduced.

  • a fume extraction device is accommodated in a kitchen cabinet that has a hob on its top.
  • the suction surface of the extractor hood extends vertically upwards and is located behind the hob.
  • a grease filter is provided in the intake opening. From the suction surface, the vapor extraction device runs vertically down into the kitchen cabinet. In the interior of the base cabinet, the fan of the vapor extraction device is arranged below the hob.
  • an indoor air circulation and purification device comprises a suction wall with a suction opening for the contaminated air, which is arranged in the back of a heating cooker on a cabinet.
  • a fan and a filter are arranged inside the cabinet.
  • the blower is with a circulating wind tunnel, which is arranged in the suction wall, connected, which in turn is connected to the suction port n connection

  • one or more silencers for sound decoupling can be provided between the device or devices for extracting cooking vapors and the fan or fans.
  • the domestic range hood has a support frame, a forced ventilation unit with an intake section, a discharge outlet, and a first opening in the support frame that is in fluid communication with the discharge outlet of the forced ventilation unit.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a solution by means of which reliable cleaning of air which is extracted from a hob can be guaranteed in a simple manner and a good extraction capacity of the vapor extraction device can nevertheless be achieved.
  • the air should be able to be discharged from the extractor device in such a way that it does not impair the user of the combination device.
  • the invention is based on the finding that this object can be achieved by the fan being arranged in the immediate vicinity of or in the hob and a at least partially downward running air duct, which is in the direction of flow after the fan, is provided, in which a recirculation filter is arranged.
  • the invention relates to a combination device comprising a cooktop with an integrated extractor device with an extractor housing and an air duct.
  • the hob has a cover plate with a recess provided in the middle area of the cover plate, a receiving space of the extractor housing for a fan having a top with an air inlet opening, the top at least partially resting on the underside of the hob and the air inlet opening below the Recess is, one end of the air duct is connected to the extractor housing.
  • the combination device is characterized in that the air duct has a vertical area that runs downwards, in the air duct at least one circulating air filter is contained which is held in an air circulating module that has a drawer for the circulating air filter and the circulating air module in the vertical area of the air duct is arranged.
  • a combination device is a device that has a hob and a vapor extraction device.
  • the extractor hood is integrated into the hob.
  • An extractor device is referred to as being integrated into the cooktop, in which at least a part of the extractor housing lies in or on the cooktop or extends through it.
  • the extractor device is preferably arranged at least in certain areas below the hob.
  • the extractor housing has a receiving space for the fan of the extractor device.
  • An area of the extractor housing in which the impeller of the fan can be driven by a motor can be moved as a receiving space.
  • the fan is preferably a radial fan.
  • the axis of the fan is preferably vertical.
  • the extractor device also includes an air duct.
  • An air duct is a duct that connects to the extractor housing and in particular the receiving space and in which air can be routed from the extractor housing out of the extractor device and thus the combination device.
  • the air duct is located downstream of the extractor hood in the direction of flow of the air.
  • the accommodation space for the fan rests against the cooktop at least in some areas.
  • the receiving space lies against the underside of the hob.
  • One end of the air duct is connected to the extractor housing. As a result, air can get out of the extractor housing and in particular from the receiving space into the air duct.
  • the air duct has a vertical area that runs downwards.
  • Directions such as vertical, horizontal, up and down refer to a combination device and its parts in the assembled state, in particular in the state in which the combination device is installed in a piece of kitchen furniture, in particular a kitchen cabinet.
  • At least one circulating air filter is contained in the air duct.
  • the circulating air filter is preferably arranged in the air duct in such a way that all of the air flowing through the air duct is conducted through the circulating air filter.
  • the recirculation filter can also be referred to as an odor filter and is used to filter out odors from the air that exits the extractor housing.
  • the circulating air filter can be an activated carbon filter, for example.
  • the receiving space in the combination device rests against the hob, the distance between the fan that is operated in the receiving space and an opening in the extractor device through which air is sucked in from above the hob is small. Reliable suction can thus be guaranteed. Since an air duct also connects to the extractor housing and in particular the receiving space, which extends at least partially vertically downwards, the air exiting the extractor housing can be brought to a location at a distance from the hob and be discharged downwards will. A direct flow against a user of the combination device, which could occur with an air duct that would only extend horizontally, can therefore be avoided. By finally including a recirculating air filter in the air duct odors can be removed from the air before it is discharged from the combination device.
  • the air duct consists of individual modules that are connected to one another. Components that each form a longitudinal section of the air duct are referred to as individual modules.
  • the modules are preferably detachably connected to one another.
  • the connection can be made, for example, by means of positive connection elements.
  • the connection can be a latching connection, for example.
  • the length of the air duct is formed by connecting the modules to one another. The number of modules and their longitudinal extent in the direction of flow therefore define the length of the air duct.
  • the air duct is formed by individual modules connected to one another, the shape and length of the air duct can be adapted to the respective conditions in and around the combination device. This increases flexibility and enables reliable suction and cleaning of suctioned air.
  • the air outlet end of the air duct can be specifically brought to a point that is at a distance from the extractor housing. Different installation situations, for example different dimensions of the combination device and/or a kitchen cupboard in which the combination device is installed, can be taken into account.
  • the circulating air filter is held in a circulating air module which has a drawer for the circulating air filter and the circulating air module is arranged in the vertical area of the air duct.
  • the circulating air module represents a module of the air duct. Because the circulating air filter is accommodated in a circulating air module with a drawer, it can be easily removed by the user and, if necessary, replaced.
  • a drawer is referred to as a device that can be moved perpendicularly to the longitudinal extent of the air-circulation module and thus to the longitudinal extent of the air duct in the area of the air-circulation module.
  • the drawer can have a grid, which is also referred to as a holding grid, and a plate, with the grid lying inside the air circulation module when pushed in and preferably covering the entire cross section of the air circulation module perpendicular to the direction of flow.
  • the circulating air filter can be placed on this grid.
  • the recirculation module is preferably in the vertical Arranged area of the ventilation duct. This arrangement enables the drawer to be actuated, in particular pushed in and/or pulled out, without having to counteract gravity. In addition, with this arrangement, the drawer can be reached more easily by the user than a drawer of a recirculation module that is located in a horizontal area of the air duct.
  • the air duct has an air distribution device at the end facing away from the extractor housing, via which air exits from the air duct.
  • a directed outflow can be achieved by providing an air distribution device at the location at which air is discharged from the air duct and thus from the extractor hood.
  • the air can be discharged in a direction away from the user of the combination device.
  • One or more air guide walls are preferably provided in the air distribution device, each of which has a curvature.
  • at least two air guide walls are particularly preferably provided, which are curved in opposite directions.
  • the air flow flowing in the air duct can be split into two partial flows flowing in opposite directions.
  • two air baffles with opposite curvatures can lie directly adjacent to one another, so that air can be prevented from escaping in the main flow direction of the air duct.
  • the air duct has a horizontal area above and below the vertical area.
  • the upper horizontal area connects the extractor housing and in particular the receiving space with the vertical area of the air duct.
  • the lower horizontal section is between the vertical section and the air outlet end of the air duct.
  • the air duct comprises at least one height compensation element and/or at least one horizontal extension element.
  • a module is referred to as a height compensation element, which can be arranged between further modules of the air duct and which only serves to guide the air in a straight line vertically between these further modules.
  • the height compensation element can therefore be, for example, a channel part that is open at the top and bottom. Since the combination device according to the invention has at least one height compensation element, a vertical extension of the air duct can be set, which is necessary for the desired installation location. For example, one or more height adjustment elements can be used when bringing the combination device into a worktop of a tall kitchen cabinet.
  • the air duct can comprise at least one extension element in the horizontal direction.
  • a module is referred to as an extension element here, which can be arranged between further modules of the air duct and which only serves to guide the air in a straight line horizontally between these further modules.
  • the extension element is therefore a channel part that is open to the front and to the rear.
  • the extension elements and the height adjustment elements are optional modules of the air duct. The decision to use one of these modules can be made when assembling the combination device.
  • At least one module of the air duct is a functional module.
  • a module of the air duct in which the direction of the air flow in the air duct is changed or the air flow is filtered is referred to as a functional module.
  • the functional module can therefore be an inlet bend, via which air is deflected from the horizontal to the vertical.
  • Another function module can be an exit curve, in which air is deflected from the vertical to the horizontal.
  • a function module can be the recirculation module, in which the air is routed through a recirculation filter.
  • the at least one functional module can preferably be installed in at least two orientations in the air duct.
  • the functional modules can be rotated through an angle of 180° around the longitudinal extension direction of the air duct in the area of the functional module and used in the rotated position.
  • the function modules preferably have an interface that has the same shape in the two installation orientations of the function module.
  • the interface can have a rectangular shape.
  • the entry opening is preferably perpendicular to the exit opening.
  • the exit opening can be directed, for example, to the front, to the rear or to one of the sides.
  • the air can optionally be released in different directions.
  • the drawer can be directed either to the front or to the rear, for example with a rotation of 180°.
  • At least one module in the area of the air duct, in the vertical part is a module that is flexible at least in the longitudinal direction.
  • the flexible module can, for example, have corrugated or folded walls or consist of a flexible material.
  • the guide channel can comprise an inlet bend, at least one vertically running module, an air circulation module, an outlet bend and an air distribution device.
  • the inlet bend is connected to the extractor housing.
  • the entrance arch has a vertical inlet opening and a horizontal outlet opening.
  • a vertical module is attached to the outlet opening, which connects the inlet elbow with the recirculation module.
  • the outlet bend is then attached to the air recirculation module.
  • the vertically extending module can be a flexible module, for example.
  • At least one horizontal extension element is provided between the extractor housing and the inlet bend
  • At least one height compensation element can be accommodated in the air duct between the inlet bend and the outlet bend. This can be between the inlet bend and a flexible module, between the inlet bend and the air circulation module, between a flexible module and the air circulation module and/or between the air circulation module and the outlet bend or between a flexible module and the outlet bend.
  • the invention relates to a kitchen appliance comprising a kitchen cabinet with a worktop and a combination appliance arranged at least in certain areas in the kitchen cabinet.
  • the kitchen appliance is characterized in that the combination appliance is a combination appliance according to the invention.
  • a base cabinet is preferably referred to as a kitchen cabinet.
  • the kitchen cabinet can be part of a kitchen unit or it can be a separate piece of furniture.
  • the kitchen cabinet is placed near or on the room floor of the room, ie the kitchen floor.
  • the top of the kitchen cabinet is called the worktop.
  • a cutout is preferably made in this worktop, via which the combination device is at least partially accessible from above.
  • At least the extractor device is preferably arranged in the kitchen cabinet.
  • the hob of the combination appliance is integrated into the cut-out.
  • the cooktop can include a cooktop housing and a cover plate. The hob housing extends downwards from the underside of the top plate. If the cover plate is in the cutout, the hob housing is completely accommodated in the kitchen cabinet.
  • the extractor device preferably extends at least partially through the hob.
  • the cover plate of the hob is mounted on support walls on the upper side of the extractor housing and there is a recess in the hob in this area.
  • a filter unit of the fume extraction device is preferably introduced into the recess.
  • the area of the extractor housing that forms the accommodation space for the fan rests at least partially on the underside of the hob. In particular, the top of the receiving space can rest against the underside of a hob housing and be attached to it.
  • the kitchen cabinet has a base, the hob of the combination appliance is accommodated in the worktop, the extractor housing of the extractor device is attached to the underside of the hob and the end of the air duct facing away from the extractor housing is below the base of the kitchen cabinet.
  • the fume hood housing can be screwed to the underside of the hob housing of the hob, for example. Because the end facing away from the extractor hood, that is to say the air outlet end of the air duct, is below the floor of the kitchen cabinet, the air exiting from this end can be discharged into the room, in particular into the kitchen. Since the air outlet end does not directly face the user's body in this position, draft that the user might feel can be prevented.
  • the vertical area of the air duct is in the rear area of the kitchen cabinet.
  • This arrangement is also possible with the combination device according to the invention when the vapor extractor housing is arranged in the central area of the hob, since the distance to the rear area can be covered by the inlet arch or, if the distance is greater, by one or more horizontal extension elements. Due to the course of the air duct being offset to the rear, the space in the kitchen cupboard can still be used for other functions, for example as storage space. Drawers are preferably arranged in this interior space, which can be removed from the front of the kitchen cabinet. This allows access at least after removal can be made possible on the vertical area of the air duct and, for example, a recirculation filter arranged therein can be replaced.
  • the extractor device has a fastening device for fastening the air duct and the fastening device is mounted on a floor of the kitchen cabinet.
  • This embodiment is advantageous because the top of the bottom of the kitchen cabinet is more easily accessible than the bottom.
  • the fastening device extends forward from the front side of the air duct.
  • Such an overhang allows the ventilation duct to be fastened, in particular screwed, to the bottom of the kitchen cabinet, for example.
  • the front of the air duct is easily accessible for the user.
  • the fastening device has at least one marking for alignment with a cutout in the worktop of the kitchen cabinet.
