Definitions
- the present invention relates to a combination device with hob and extractor device.
- a cooker for heating a cooking plate with an electric heating element will be described.
- the cooker has a plate in which holes are introduced for draining oil and grease. Shells are provided below the heating element, is introduced into the water.
- a suction opening is formed in the middle region of the digester. This leads to a horizontally extending exhaust passage, which communicates with the intake port.
- the exhaust passage extends below one of the shells beyond the lateral edge of the plate.
- a suction fan is arranged at the outer end of the exhaust passage and thus adjacent to the plate.
- a suction fan is arranged.
- the trigger includes a modular cooking plate that is recessed well below the worktop. There are suction openings between the ends of the hob and the upper edge of the extraction frame, through which air is drawn downwards.
- a hob with central extraction of cooking fumes down known.
- this hob one or more recesses are introduced in the area around the geometric centroid.
- Below the hob devices are provided for the withdrawal of kitchen fumes.
- the devices for extracting kitchen fumes preferably represent radial fans, which are attached to the underside of a hob housing and are sucked upwards via the air from the bottom of the cooker extractor chambers.
- a disadvantage of this arrangement is that the requirements for the radial fans for generating a sufficient negative pressure are increased, in particular, since the flow of the cooking fumes must be deflected and the air flow in the device must be performed over a long distance.
- Object of the present invention is thus to provide a combination device in which in a simple and reliable manner with a preferably simple construction of the combination device steam and vapor can be sucked from the room above a hob and still the entry of impurities in the fan of the extractor device to prevent.
- the invention is based on the finding that this object can be achieved by providing in a combination device at least two recesses in the hob, that the distance between the recesses serves as a cover at least part of the fan of the extractor device and at the same time the way the air from the recesses to the blower must be low.
- the combination device according to the invention comprises a hob and a fume extraction device.
- these two components of the combination device as a mounting unit, that is structural unit configured.
- This means that the two components of the combination device are attached directly or indirectly to each other and can be introduced as a mounting unit, for example in a countertop.
- the combination device thus represents an assembled or preassembled unit, or a pre-assembled unit.
- the hob according to the invention comprises at least one heating element and a cover plate.
- the cover plate covers the at least one heating element from above or the at least one heating element is applied to the cover plate from below.
- the size of the heating element or its effective radius determines the size of the cooking zone or cooking area in the hob on the pots or other cooking vessels can be set up for heating.
- the heating element can represent, for example, an induction module.
- the heating element may also be an electronic heating element in the form of a heating coil.
- at least one of the heating elements of the hob is a gas burner.
- the cover plate does not cover the heating element, but has at the location of the heating element on a passage opening to the passage for the burner head.
- the extractor device comprises a fan and preferably in addition an air duct for guiding the air after exiting the fan from the combination device out.
- At least two recesses are provided in the hob.
- the recesses are inventively incorporated in the cover plate of the hob.
- the extractor device is arranged according to the invention below the hob. Arranged below the cooktop is an extractor device, in which at least part of the fan of the extractor device is located further down than the lowest point of the cooktop. In any case, the extractor device is arranged below the top of the hob. If the upper side of the hob, as provided according to the invention, is formed by a cover plate, then the extractor device is arranged below the cover plate.
- the fan of the extractor device may for example be arranged between two heating elements of the hob or completely offset to the heating elements down.
- Directional information refer to the combination device in the assembled and mounted state, that is, in the state in which this is introduced, for example, in a horizontal worktop.
- the recess in the hob is the intake of the combination device.
- the opening is referred to, enters through the air in the interior of the combination device.
- further conduit elements such as channels or pipes, which extend upwards relative to the hob.
- pots or other cooking vessels can be moved substantially freely on the hob.
- at least part of the combination device for example a filter unit, extends slightly beyond the upper side of the hob.
- the extractor device of the combination device has a fan, which is preferably a radial fan.
- the fan which may also be referred to as fan or suction fan, preferably comprises a fan housing, which is configured for example as a spiral housing or screw housing and can also be referred to as a fan housing.
- a fan is received, which is driven by a motor also included in the blower housing.
- the blower housing has an air inlet opening through which sucked air can reach the fan wheel.
- the fan housing has an air outlet opening, via which air can be discharged radially into a discharge channel or directly from the combination device.
- the air inlet opening is preferably in the region of the axis of the fan wheel.
- the recesses are offset horizontally relative to the fan arranged below the hob. This means that at least the air inlet opening of the fan in a vertical plan view of the hob is not completely in the surface of one of the recesses.
- the recesses are in particular arranged so that the edge of the recesses lies in vertical projection on the fan below it or in the vicinity of the edge of the air inlet opening of the blower.
- Each of the at least two recesses is thus in a vertical projection on the plane of the air inlet opening in the vicinity of the air inlet opening but outside the air inlet opening.
- the edge of the recesses may for example run between the outer radial edge of the fan and the air inlet opening. The edge of the recesses can thereby cut the outer radial edge of the housing in two places.
- the greater part of the area of the recesses lies outside the outer radial edge of the blower.
- the edge of the recesses in vertical projection on the fan below it lies partly on the edge of the air inlet opening of the fan, the two edges touch each other in a vertical projection in one point.
- the fan is at least partially before viewing Protected by the user and especially before the entry of contaminants and liquids through the recesses in the fan.
- the cover plate is covered by the cover plate and in particular the distance or web between the recesses.
- auxiliary fans for example in the edge regions of the hob.
- additional fans are not essential.
- hob and the extractor device according to the invention continue to be integrated in one device, and thus form a mounting unit, the assembly is simplified.
- hob and extractor device can be introduced as a unit in a countertop or other surface and optionally removed.
- the required height is reduced by the integration of the two components in a combination device, since the components of the components aligned with each other can be provided in the combination device.
- the overall height of the combination device according to the invention may be, for example, 15 to 30 cm and preferably 20 cm.
- the combination device can be easily integrated into a kitchen.
- the fan is arranged in the combination device, that the air inlet opening of the fan and in particular of the fan housing faces the hob. Facing the hob, an air inlet opening is designated, via which air can be sucked from above into the blower and thus the blower housing. In particular, facing the cooktop thus an air inlet opening is referred to, which is at the top of the fan and thus the blower housing.
- the air inlet opening is parallel to the hob and in particular to a cover plate of the hob. In this case, the air inlet opening thus lies in the horizontal and is directed upward.
- an inclined relative to the horizontal air inlet opening at the top of the fan can be regarded as the hob.
- the angle of inclination is preferably less than 90 ° and more preferably less than 45 °.
- blower with the air inlet opening opposite side are attached to the underside of the housing of the heating element
- the blower can in this case be attached, for example, to the bottom of a device housing of the combination device, the area of which generally corresponds to the surface of the hob.
- the fan it is also possible for the fan to be fastened on the same side in which the air inlet opening is provided, in a region around the air inlet opening, on the hob, in particular on the underside of the hob and in particular an underside of a hob housing.
- the size of the fan can be made large and the fan can be fixed, for example, under two heating elements, which lie on opposite sides of the recess. A thus possible larger blower can produce the desired air flow even at low speed and the noise of the fan is therefore also reduced.
- the edge of the at least two recesses in the vertical projection of the recesses on the blower lies partially on the outer edge of the blower housing of the blower.
- the blower housing is preferably a volute, which may also be referred to as a screw housing.
- the outer edge of the blower housing is in this case the radially outer edge. Since the at least two recesses in vertical projection on the fan lie partially on this edge, the recesses can be arranged such that they are arranged completely offset horizontally from the housing. In this case, the intersect Edge of one of the recesses and the edge of the housing only in one point. In such an arrangement, the horizontal distance between the recesses and the air inlet opening is so large that an immediate entry of contaminants and liquids can be prevented and yet the suction into the air inlet opening can be done in a reliable manner.
- the fan is arranged centrally in the combination device.
- a blower which is located in the middle in the width direction of the combination device and in the depth direction of the combination device is referred to as centrally arranged.
- the blower is thus in the center of area of a rectangular combination device.
- the at least two recesses are offset in a centrally arranged fan to the center of the combination device placed in the hob.
- the recesses serving as intake openings are located outside the middle of the surface of the combination device.
- the recesses can be arranged between heating elements of the hob and thus lie in the vicinity of the cooking zone formed by the respective heating element.
- the fan is arranged in the center of the surface of the combination device and a recess is located in a vertical projection on the fan to the fan forward offset and a further recess is offset in vertical projection on the fan to the rear.
- This embodiment is advantageous, since thereby the recesses lie only in the middle of the width direction of the combination device and in particular the cover plate.
- a heating element extending over the entire depth of the combination device and in particular over the entire depth of the hob can be arranged on the left and on the right side of the recesses.
- the recesses according to the invention for example, a round or square shape, in particular slot shape, on. If a rectangular slot shape is selected, then the longitudinal direction of the recess is preferably in the depth direction of the combination device and in particular the cover plate of the hob.
- a filter unit with at least one filter element is releasably attached to the at least two recesses.
- the filter element may be formed in the combination device according to the invention as a filter plate or filter mat or a hollow body of filter material.
- the filter material may for example be expanded metal or braided or knitted metal threads.
- braided or knitted metal threads can be used in the combination device according to the invention, since in this the suction takes place from the surface of the combination device downwards and the filter element lies in the plane of the recesses or below the plane of the recesses. Falling out of individual filaments, which may occur in such filter material, is harmless, as they fall into the combination device and thus pose no health risk, as is the case with hoods arranged above the cooktop.
- the filter element is a hollow body.
- hollow body is understood to mean a body which consists of an outer wall, which may also be referred to as outer surface or lateral surface, and which is open at least on the upper side.
- the hollow body may also be referred to as a pipe section or profile piece, wherein the cross section of the pipe section or profile piece may be, for example, round or polygonal, in particular quadrangular.
- the hollow body may thus represent a piece of pipe with a round or rectangular cross section. In particular, with a rectangular cross-section, it is possible that, for example, only two opposite sides of the filter element consist of filter material and the other two sides consist of a metal plate or plastic plate.
- the advantage of using a filter element embodied as a hollow body is, in particular, that the available filter area is enlarged compared to a flat filter element.
- the recesses are arranged offset horizontally to the fan, below the recess has a certain height, in which the filter element can protrude. At a minimum, the distance between the top of a fan and the bottom of the cover plate may be used for the filter element.
- the filter element is arranged vertically in the filter unit.
- the filter element inclined in the filter unit for example, a downwardly tapering hollow body can be used as a filter element.
- the vertical orientation of the filter element is advantageous also for the reason that the edge of the recess into which the filter unit is introduced lies in the vicinity of the air inlet opening of the blower.
- the negative pressure acting on the filter element is higher than that of a more spaced-apart filter element and the cleaning and suction of the air can be improved thereby.
- the filter unit has a collection area for liquids, which is preferably formed by a bottom of the filter unit.
- the collecting area is preferably formed by a trough or gutter.
- the Collection area is formed by the bottom and has a trough shape, that is, the filter unit closes down, in a vertically oriented filter element
- the collecting area directly to collect liquids that enter through the recess serve.
- the prevention of the ingress of liquids into the fan of the combination device is ensured according to the invention, on the one hand, that the distance between the two recesses serves as a cover of the air inlet opening.
- the combination device has an overflow container for liquids from the collecting area.
- a container is referred to as the overflow container, which container lies at least partially under the filter element and in particular the collecting region of the filter element.
- the overflow tank is located below the part of the collecting area from which liquids can escape.
- the overflow container will preferably lie completely below the filter unit and in particular the collecting area.
- liquid can pass through the filter element to the outside.
- the thus emerging liquid can reliably enter the overflow tank.
- the overflow container may for example have a trough shape.
- the overflow container according to the invention represents a component which is installed in the combination device and, for example, in a device housing of the combination device. It is thus not the bottom of a device housing used as an overflow container.
- the overflow container is a separate component, this can be installed at a height in the combination device, which is offset up to the bottom of the combination device. Since preferably the fan is mounted on the underside of the combination device, for example on the bottom of a device housing, the fan of the extractor device, and the Overflow container is offset to this floor up, entry of liquids into the fan can be reliably prevented.
- the overflow container is fixedly mounted in the combination device. This means that the overflow container is not detachable from the combination device compared to the filter unit. Thereby, a correct orientation of the overflow container to the recess into which the filter unit is inserted and to the blower and in particular the air inlet opening of the blower when assembling the combination device can be set and accidental incorrect positioning of the overflow container by the user can be prevented.
- the overflow container is preferably accessible through the recess in the cover plate of the hob and can be emptied and cleaned hereby by the user.
- a closable opening can be provided on the underside of the overflow container, via which the overflow container can be emptied.
- an overflow container is in the inventive arrangement of the recesses to the blower of particular importance.
- the recesses are provided in the vicinity of the air inlet opening in order to ensure efficient extraction of air through the recesses to the air inlet opening. Due to the proximity of the recesses to the air inlet opening but also the risk of ingress of liquids in the fan is increased. In particular, in situations where large amounts of liquids on the recesses in the combination device occur, for example, when overcooking of liquid food, the provision of an overflow container is therefore required.
- the hob and the extractor device according to the invention can be attached directly or indirectly to one another.
- an immediate attachment for example, the side of the fan of the extractor device, in which the air inlet opening is provided, be attached to the hob, for example on the underside of a hob housing.
- An indirect attachment of the hob and the extractor device can be realized for example by a device housing.
- the hob and the extractor device in a common Housing housing added.
- the device housing may in particular have a trough shape.
- To the top of the device housing is completed by the hob and in particular by the cover plate of the hob.
- an air outlet is introduced.
- the air outlet may be provided for example on the back of the device housing.
- it is also possible that the air outlet is placed on one of the side walls of the device housing or is introduced into the bottom of the device housing.
- the extractor device of the combination device is preferably attached.
- the hob can either be introduced from above into the device housing and rest for example with the cover plate on the upper edge of the walls of the device housing.
- the heating elements of the hob can also be fastened, for example, to the inside of the appliance housing, or held.
- both the assembly and the assembly of the combination device is simplified.
- the relative position between the components of the extractor device and the hob is already given by the device housing.
- the orientation of the recesses can be ensured with the blower.
- the introduced in the device housing components of the extractor device and the hob or the directly attached fume extractor and hob can be introduced in a mounting step in a countertop or other surface. If the cover plate is a separate component of the heating elements of the hob, this can optionally be applied later.
- the hob and the extractor device of the combination device on a common electrical network connection.
- This power supply can be provided for example on the device housing and supply the electrical components of the extractor device and the hob with voltage.
- the extractor device can be actuated depending on the operating state of the hob.
