  • the collecting area is preferably formed by the bottom of the filter holder.
  • the structure of the filter unit is further simplified, since the filter holder performs two functions, namely the holding of the filter body and the collection of liquids and thus a collection area on a separate component is not required.
  • the at least one filter element in the filter unit lies in a direction which is inclined to the horizontal.
  • This embodiment has the advantage that liquids that are filtered out in the filter element due to the orientation of the filter element to run to the lower edge and from there can reliably reach the collection area.
  • This embodiment has the advantage that the filter surface of the filter elements lies in the vertical direction and thus can not be reached by liquids which drop from above into the filter unit via the air inlet opening.

  • the overflow tank 13 may be detachably connected to the combination device 1. So can the overflow tank 13, for example, be placed loosely on the blower housing 113 or hooked into the recess.
  • the central passage opening 134 which results from the annular shape of the overflow container 13, is aligned with the air inlet opening 115 of the fan housing 113.
  • the passage opening 134 is surrounded by an upwardly extending protective wall 135.
  • a Eingriffsschutzgitter 130 may be provided in the passage opening 134 of the overflow container 13.
  • both a round in plan view and a quadrangular shape is understood.
  • the shape of the filter holder 121 and the overflow container 13 are selected according to the shape of the recess 104.
  • a device housing 14 of the combination device 1 is provided, in which the extractor device 11 and the hob 10 are added.
  • the heating elements 101 of the hob 10 are received in the device housing 14 and the device housing 14 is covered from above by the cover plate 103.
  • the extractor device 11 is also provided. From the extractor device 11 is in FIG. 2 only to see the blower 110.
  • the blower 110 is mounted on the device base 140 of the device housing 14.
  • the hob 10 and the extractor device 11 are accommodated in a device housing 14, it is also possible and preferred according to the invention to carry out the combination device 1 without device housing 14.
  • the top of the fan 110 for example, the side in which the air inlet opening 115 is provided, in the region which is outside the air inlet opening 115, on the underside of the hob, in particular a hob housing (not shown) may be attached ,
  • the fan 112 is driven by a motor 111.
  • air is sucked into the blower housing 113 via the air inlet opening 115 of the blower housing 113 facing upwards and thus towards the hob 10.
  • the air is sucked into the combination device 1 from above the hob 10 through the recess 104.
  • the air enters the combination apparatus 1 through the air inlet port 125 of the filter unit 12, which is a circular opening, and is drawn to the air inlet port 115 of the blower 110.
  • the intake air flow L passes through the filter element 120 in the upper filter region 1200 from the inside to the outside.
  • the air thus passes into the air guide 128, which is formed between the outer wall 1212 of the filter holder 121 and the filter body 129. Due to the negative pressure generated by the blower 110, the air is sucked from the air guide 128 through the filter element 120 into the interior of the filter body 129.
  • the air passes through the lower filter region 1201 of the filter body 129 from outside to inside and is further cleaned. From there, the air exits through the air outlet opening 126 from the filter unit 12 and passes through the air inlet opening 115 of the blower housing 113 in the blower housing 113 where it is blown through an air outlet opening (not shown) of the blower housing 113. From there, the air passes either indirectly via an outlet channel (not shown) or directly to an air outlet 18 (s. FIG. 1 From there, the air can be discharged into the environment or into the room in which the combination device 1 is operated.
  • Liquids such as water and grease, which are deposited on the filter element 120 from the air may run down the filter element 120. Since the filter body 129 is held with the at least one filter element 120 on a filter holder 121 which has a collecting region 122 below the filter body 129, the liquid can be collected there and does not enter the fan 110.
  • liquid which enters the filter body 129 via the air inlet opening 125 is collected in the collecting element 127 and collected there. If a large amount of liquid enters the filter unit 12 and the maximum filling height of the collecting element 127 is exceeded, this can pass from the collecting element 127 overflowing liquid, for example via the lower filter region 1201 to the collecting region 122 of the filter holder 121 and collected there.
  • the collecting element 127 and then the collecting region 122 of the filter unit 12 are filled.
  • the filter unit 12 in particular in the outer wall of the filter holder 121, overflow openings are filled 123 introduced. Over this, the liquid flows into the overflow container 13 provided around the filter unit 12.
  • FIG. 5 a further embodiment of the filter unit 12 used according to the invention is shown.
  • a gap 1202 is inserted in the filter body 129 at its middle height. This runs horizontally.
  • the collecting container 127 protrudes with its opposite edges on opposite sides of the filter body 129.
  • the width of the collecting container 127 in this embodiment is therefore greater than the width of the interior of the filter body 129.
  • the region in which the collecting container 127 protrudes beyond the outside of the filter body 129 is also referred to as drip edge 1270. Since this drip edge 1270 is located outside the filter body 129, dripping liquid thereof can directly reach the underlying collecting area 122. As a result, it is not necessary to flow through the lower filter region 1201 with the liquid emerging from the collecting element 127.
  • filter elements 120 Although the invention has been described essentially with reference to vertically extending filter elements 120, it will be understood that other filter elements 120, such as horizontally-lying or inclined filter elements, may be used.
  • the fan of the extractor device can be located directly below the recess in the hob.
  • the recess may be rectangular or round.
  • the filter unit with The filter element which may also be referred to as a grease filter, is preferably removable from the combination device.
  • a collecting element is provided in the interior of the filter body.
  • liquid can be collected by the collecting element and on the other hand a labyrinth is created in the filter unit, through which the air filter elements pass twice.
  • a collection area for liquids which may also be referred to as a liquid container, is provided.
  • a collection area grease or water that spills over the catcher can be trapped and collected.
  • an overflow container can be provided into which liquid can flow out of the collecting area.
  • the overflow container is preferably fixedly mounted in the combination device and is therefore also referred to as a static container.
  • the static container can not be removed preferably, but can be cleaned by hand or emptied from below, through an opening.
  • the filter element, the catcher element and the collection area can be a single unit.
  • the present invention has a number of advantages.
  • the filter unit according to the invention possible positioning of the fan under the recess and the orientation of the air inlet opening upwards, possibly only one fan is required.
  • This fan can be larger, rotate slower and thus produce less noise.
  • the blower can be protected by the filter unit and optionally an overflow container.
