Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a handle device of a locking device of a vehicle, with a handle part that is movably mounted to a door of the vehicle and is movable between a rest position and an operating position, wherein the handle part is arranged flush with the outside of the door in the rest position and in the Operating position protrudes like a protrusion from the outside of the door, wherein the handle part can be operated manually in the operating position to open the door, and an actuating unit is also provided, by means of which the handle part can be transferred at least from the rest position to the operating position.
  • a generic handle device of a locking device of a vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1 is known.
  • the handle device describes the device arranged in the door of the vehicle.
  • the locking device comprises the entire system, so that the handle device represents a part of the locking device, which preferably includes all handle devices on the vehicle as well as a central locking and, for example, a control unit for this.
  • the locking device comprises a lock which interacts with the handle device, so that the handle device has to be operated manually in order to open the lock of the door, whereupon the door pops open.
  • the actuation unit of the arrangement shown is designed as an unlocking button which must be pressed in order to activate an internal mechanism that causes the handle part to protrude into the operating position. It is still necessary to press a locking button, whereby a return of the handle part takes place in the rest position.
  • the disadvantage here is the button function of the unlocking button, which has to be pressed into a recess by finger pressure.
  • the handle device has no means for locking or unlocking the door of the vehicle with a key.
  • lock cylinders are generally known, but these cannot be integrated in flush grip devices of the type of interest here according to the prior art.
  • the lock cylinders are installed adjacent to the handle device in the door panel of the vehicle door.
  • Another handle device is from the document EP 822 306 A2 known.
  • a lock cylinder is provided and arranged in the handle device in such a way that an actuating unit / panel covers the lock cylinder from the outside of the door and at least partially releases the lock cylinder when actuated.
  • the invention includes the technical teaching that a lock cylinder is provided and arranged in the handle device in such a way that the actuation unit covers the lock cylinder from the outside of the door and at least partially releases the lock cylinder when actuated manually, and that the actuation unit has a cover which in the unactuated state of the actuating unit is arranged flush with the outside of the door and conceals the lock cylinder, the panel pivoting when the actuating unit is actuated in the direction of the handle part so that the panel pivots under the handle part.
  • the invention is based on the idea of expanding the functional scope of the handle device by advantageously integrating a lock cylinder, this being in this way is arranged that the flush design of the handle device for a door of a vehicle is retained.
  • the release button known from the prior art is no longer designed as a simple button, but the actuation unit is operated in a way that enables the handle part to be transferred from the rest position to the operating position and also provides a cover for the lock cylinder and this at Can release as needed.
  • the release of the lock cylinder describes at least one release of the front from which a key can be inserted into the lock channel of the lock cylinder.
  • the lock cylinder In the normal operation of the handle device and in particular in the rest position of the actuating unit, the lock cylinder is covered and consequently not visible from the outside. However, if the actuation unit is activated by operating it manually, the lock cylinder is at least partially released. According to the invention, the actuation unit consequently serves both to activate the handle part and to cover the lock cylinder.
  • the actuation unit has a cover which, when the actuation unit is not actuated, is arranged flush with the outside of the door and covers the lock cylinder.
  • the panel is advantageously arranged pivotably in the handle device for actuating the actuating unit, so that the panel swivels laterally away from the lock cylinder when the actuating unit is manually actuated. Consequently, manual actuation of the actuation unit does not describe pressing a button into a recess, but rather the panel pivots about a pivot axis and can thus be operated with advantage. For example, for people with longer fingernails, a pivoting movement of the manually operated element is advantageous, since pressing an unlocking button into a recess with longer fingernails is extremely disadvantageous.
  • the handle device has a handle shell with an elongated extension in which the handle part with a likewise elongated extension is flush with the surface at least in the rest position, the actuation unit preferably being arranged adjacent to the handle part as an extension of the elongated extension of the handle part.
  • the handle shell can be assembled with the handle part from the outside of the door, whereby a first assembly module can be produced that can be handled and assembled individually.
  • the handle part can be provided with a further cover on the outside, which merges flush with an edge of the handle shell.
  • the handle shell itself is integrated into a door opening in the door of the vehicle, with the edge of the grip shell being flush with the outer surface of the door panel.
  • the panel when the actuation unit is actuated, the panel swivels in the direction of the handle part, so that the panel preferably pivots under the handle part.
  • the spacing between the handle part, in particular between the cover on the handle, and the cover on the actuation unit is dimensioned such that when the cover is pivoted in the direction of the handle, the cover does not come into contact with the handle.
  • the panel swivels at least partially under the handle, so that it does not have to be pressed vertically into the handle device, in particular not vertically into the handle shell, by manual operation, but the panel can be pivoted by manual guidance about the pivot axis, which is inside the Handle device is added.
  • the actuation unit advantageously has an actuation element with which the actuation unit can be pivoted about the pivot axis, the cover being arranged on the actuation element.
  • the actuating element forms the main part of the actuating unit, and the lock cylinder is received in the actuating unit.
  • the actuating element can be designed in the shape of a fork, and the lock cylinder is arranged between the forks of the actuating element.
  • a locking element is provided which is in operative connection with the actuating unit in such a way that the locking element can be moved by the actuating unit between a locking position and a release position, the locking element always being in a locking position and only for moving the handle part is transferred from the rest position to a release position.
  • the locking element is thereby activated by manual operation of the diaphragm and consequently a movement of the actuating element, so that the actuating unit represents a drive for activating the blocking element.
  • This drive can be expanded with an electro-mechanical functional unit so that the activation can also be operated electrically and controlled electronically.
  • the locking element is preferably designed as a locking rod or as a locking wire and executes a movement in a movement axis.
  • the locking element is used both for unlocking and to expose the handle part from the rest position to the operating position.
  • the locking element forms a crash lock, so that the locking element prevents the handle part from being able to move from the rest position into the operating position when acceleration forces act on the handle part.
  • an acceleration force can act on the handle part which is sufficient to move it from the rest position to the operating position.
  • the locking element preferably in such a way that a form fit is created between the handle part and the handle holder, the handle part can only be transferred into the operating position when the actuating element of the actuating unit is activated.
  • the activation takes place only by pivoting the actuating element about the pivot axis, since acceleration forces which mainly act linearly cannot enable the actuation unit to be activated.
  • Another advantage is that movement of the handle part is enabled in the release position of the locking element, movement of the handle part being blocked in the locking position and the blocking element in particular preventing the door from being opened unintentionally if acceleration forces act on the handle part.
  • the locking element assumes a first position in the locking position and engages the handle part in a form-fitting manner, with During the displacement of the locking element into the release position, the locking element moves into a second position, and the locking element engages the handle part in such a way that the handle part moves from the rest position into the operating position.
  • the movement of the locking element takes place along an axis of movement which at the same time runs approximately parallel to the elongated extension of the handle shell and consequently to the elongated extension of the handle part.
  • the locking element is connected to the fork-shaped actuating element via a receiving link, the receiving link being displaced when the actuating element is pivoted about the pivot axis. The locking element is thus moved back and forth.
  • the handle device can have a handle holder which is arranged inside the door, the actuating element being received in the handle holder so as to be pivotable in the pivot axis.
  • Cylindrical pins can be provided, which are guided through bores in the handle holder in order to create a support for the fork-shaped actuating element on the fork ends.
  • the actuating element can consequently pivot about the cylinder pins mentioned.
  • the actuating element can furthermore have a receiving extension via which the cover is arranged on the actuating element, wherein the handle device comprises a handle shell which is arranged on the outside of the door, and wherein the receiving extension extends through an opening in the handle shell.
  • the handle holder can be assembled with the actuating unit and other components, and forms a second assembly module that can be handled individually as a structural unit and attached to the door from the inside.
  • the first module that is to say the grip shell with the attached grip part and the cover on the grip part, can be preassembled from the outside and is placed on the door in a modular manner from the outside.
  • the first module can then be through the door opening on the outside and the second module on the inside of the door be connected to each other.
  • the receiving extension of the actuating element passes through the opening in the grip shell, and the cover can be attached to the end of the receiving extension.
  • a spring element can be provided which preloads the actuation element in such a way that the actuation unit always remains in an unactuated state, so that the panel is arranged flush with the outside of the door and covers the lock cylinder. Consequently, the spring element biases the actuating element into the position which reproduces the rest position of the actuating unit.
  • the spring element can be arranged in such a way that it extends around at least one of the spring pins which form the mounting of the actuating element in the handle holder and through which the pivot axis of the actuating element is created.
  • the diaphragm can advantageously be detachably arranged on the actuating element.
  • the geometric shape of the cover and in particular the arrangement of the cover in front of the lock cylinder can be designed in such a way that to release the lock cylinder in such a way that a key can be inserted into it, the cover must be released from the actuating element.
  • the arrangement of the cover on the actuating element can have a connection which can be released by means of a tool, preferably a key, which is also used to actuate the lock cylinder, and the cover can be removed from the actuating element.
  • Figure 1 shows an embodiment of a handle device 1 according to the present invention in a flying view.
  • the components of the handle device 1 are shown essentially in compliance with the assembly sequence in an arrangement shown in front of one another, so that it is clear how the handle device 1 is assembled.
  • the door 11 of a vehicle which is shown schematically indicated by a door opening 30, serves to accommodate the handle device 1.
  • the handle device 1 is mounted on this door opening 30 and is thus arranged to be held on the door 11. Therefore, it is described below how and which components from the outside of the door 11 and how and which components from the inside of the door 11 are assembled with one another and against each other.
  • a handle part 10 can be pivotably received in a handle shell 19, wherein the connection between the handle part 10 and the handle shell 19 can be produced by a pivot axis element 31.
  • a receiving fork 32 is located on the handle shell 19 and a hinge section 33 of the handle part 10 can be received between the receiving fork 32 and bolted to the pivot axis element 31.
  • the handle part 10 is thus accommodated in the handle shell 19 in a pivotable manner.
  • a first module is created that can be handled individually as a structural unit and can be placed on the door 11 from the outside.
  • a handle holder 17 which serves as the basic structure of the handle device 1 and can be arranged from the inside against the door opening 30 of the door 11.
  • the actuation element 15 is mounted using cylindrical pins 34 which are inserted into bores or receptacles that are present in the handle holder 17.
  • the actuating element 15 has a fork shape so that the fork ends of the actuating element 15 are held on the handle holder 17 by the cylindrical pins 34.
  • the actuating element 15 can be pivoted about a pivot axis 18 which is formed simultaneously by the respective longitudinal extension of the cylinder pins 34.

  • a blocking element 28 is shown, which is connected to the actuating element 15 in such a way that the connection is formed at a distance from the pivot axis 18. If the actuating element 15 is pivoted about the pivot axis 18 by manual actuation, the locking element 28, preferably designed as a wire or rod element, performs a movement in a movement axis 37.
  • the locking element 28 is used both for locking and unlocking as well as for moving the handle part 10 from the rest position into the operating position.
  • the locking element 28 forms a crash lock through the locking function, so that the locking element 28 prevents the handle part 10 from being able to move from the rest position into the operating position when acceleration forces act on the handle part 10.
  • an acceleration force can act on the handle part 10 which is sufficient to transfer it from the rest position to the operating position.
  • Activation takes place by pivoting the actuating element 15 about the pivot axis 18. Only then is the positive connection between the handle part 10 and the handle holder 17 released due to a movement of the locking element 28 in the direction of the movement axis 37, so that the handle part 10 only moves can be. • FIG. 13 shows a perspective view of the handle device 1 installed in the door 11 of a vehicle.
  • the handle shell 19 can be seen in the form of the outer edge in which the handle part 10 rests, the cover 39 being visible from the outside and flush with the door 11 together with the cover 13 of the actuating unit.
  • the flush closure of the panels 13 and 39 takes place via a simultaneously flush transition of the edge which is formed by the grip shell 19.
  • the handle device 1 is integrated into the outer skin of the door 11 without a shoulder, a protruding part or a geometrically recessed arrangement of the handle device 1 being formed. In particular, there is no recessed grip that would allow the handle part 10 of the handle device 1 to be manually enclosed.
  • the panel 13 To operate the handle device 1, the panel 13 must first be pressed manually so that it swivels in the direction of the panel 39. As a result, by shifting the locking element 28 in the movement axis 37, the form fit between the handle part 10 and the handle holder 17 is released to such an extent that the handle part 10 can rotate about the pivot axis element 31 in the receiving fork 32 of the handle shell 19.
