Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour le remplacement d'un segment (2) dans un guidage de barre (1) d'une machine de coulée continue pour la coulée de métal liquide, comprenant un manipulateur de segment (8), qui est relié de façon amovible au segment (2), une chaîne à maillons (9), des guides de changement (6) attribués au segment (2) et un dispositif de levage (19) pour le soulèvement ou l'abaissement du segment (2), la chaîne à maillons (9) étant reliée au manipulateur de segment (8) et au dispositif de levage (19) et la chaîne à maillons (9) de même que le manipulateur de segment (8) étant guidés par des éléments de guidage (14) dans les guides de changement (6). L'objectif de l'invention est de créer un dispositif du type cité plus haut qui permet de réduire un rayon de courbure le plus petit possible des guides de changement (6) et/ou une force d'extraction maximale indispensable du dispositif de levage (19), sans influencer pour autant de façon négative la possibilité d'utilisation pratique du dispositif. Cet objectif est atteint par un dispositif sur lequel le manipulateur de segment (8) présente au moins une aile (12) disposée sur le côté et conçue de façon articulée.
