Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a backpack with a rear wall concave exciting frame assembly.
  • One problem is to design such a frame arrangement so that it is relatively simple in construction and can be mounted and dismounted quickly and easily in the area of the back wall of a backpack.
  • a backpack with a packing space and a rear wall facing a backpack carrier as well as a frame arrangement concavely exciting the rear wall, and a power supply which runs like a chord to the concave rear wall.
  • the frame assembly has the shape of a closed to the underside of the packaging space and closed to the top of the packaging space frame part, the two approximately vertically extending frame portions and one in the transverse direction extending frame portion, whose ends are connected to the upper ends of the vertical frame parts.
  • two transversely spaced lower insertion pockets are provided on the side facing the power unit on the underside of the packaging space, in which the lower ends of the vertical frame portions can be inserted.
  • the frame part can be guided through an opening of the rear wall from the inside of the packaging space in such a way that the lower ends of the vertical frame areas engage in the lower insertion pockets and that the transversely extending frame area can be inserted into an upper insertion pocket formed on the side of the rear wall facing the power unit is.
  • the frame part is shaped so that the vertical frame areas, starting from the upper frame area, approach each other in a downward direction and extend away from the central area down to the ends of the vertical frame areas.
  • the essential advantage of the present invention is that the frame assembly of the backpack according to the invention consists essentially of a one-piece frame part which is closed in its upper region and opened in its lower region, wherein the lower end portions, which are spaced apart in the transverse direction, in on the outside or on the power supply side facing the rear wall of the backpack arranged pockets are thus easy to arrange that the frame part from the packing space of the backpack from above with its end areas ahead by an upper, extending in the transverse opening at the power supply facing side of the rear wall is pushed down until the said End portions are inserted in said lower pockets.
  • An essential advantage of the invention is also that the arranged on the rear wall of the backpack frame assembly is designed so that there is an increased flexibility with the same rigidity for carrying higher loads.
  • the increased flexibility results from the fact that the frame assembly is open at the bottom. It is due to the special structure of the frame assembly ensured that the load exerted by the backpack on the back of the backpack carrier load is distributed forward to the pelvis of the backpack wearer.
  • the opening extends in the transverse direction of the rear wall.
  • the opening is expediently closed by a closing device.
  • the closing device in a preferred embodiment of the invention is a quick and easy to open and close zipper.
  • the upper insertion pocket is particularly advantageously formed by a region of the power supply and a region of the rear wall attached thereto.
  • the lower end portions of the vertical frame portions are each bent by preferably 180 ° such that there is a lower rounded end. This advantageously prevents "working through” of the material of the insertion pockets.
  • the lower end of the power supply is suitably attached to the lower side of the rear wall, preferably sewn.
  • the upper end of the power supply is preferably fixed to the upper side of the rear wall, in particular sewn, such that the upper upper pocket insert pocket results above the opening.
  • the lower Insert pocket are preferably mounted in the region of the lower end of the power supply to the rear wall.
  • the frame part may be formed so that the vertical frame portions extending from the upper frame portion each down to a predetermined location arcuately in the direction of the rear wall to stretch it concave, and starting from the place respectively down to the ends of the vertical frame areas arcuate towards the power supply to effect a particularly effective force transmission to the pelvic area of a backpack wearer.
  • the location is preferably below the central area.
  • the frame part is advantageously fixed in the central region of the vertical frame parts with the aid of a holding device releasably attached to the rear wall.
  • the holding device preferably comprises a fastened to the rear wall, preferably sewn reinforcement member to which at least one around a vertical frame area and releasably attachable to the reinforcing member attachable retaining tab is arranged, which is quickly and easily fastened in particular with a hook and loop fastener on the reinforcing member.
  • the frame part preferably has the form of a one-piece, resilient rod part, which consists of metal or plastic.
  • the backpack 1 essentially comprises a packing space 5, which is formed between a front wall (not designated in more detail), a rear wall 8, a bottom wall (not further described) and also side walls (not shown).
  • the backpack 1 further comprises, as is known per se, preferably a cover part 2 for closing the packing space 5, shoulder straps 3 and lap belts 4.
  • an upper, preferably in the transverse direction, closable opening 6 is stretched.
  • a zipper 7 is provided for closing the opening 6, whose respective zipper parts running along the edges of the opening 6 are shown only schematically.
  • a frame assembly 9 which biases the rear wall 8 of the backpack 1 concave.
  • a ventilation space which prevents direct contact between the rear wall 8 and the back of the backpack carrier and therefore ventilation of the back of Backpack carrier allows.
  • a frame assembly is provided according to FIG. 3 consists essentially of a bottom side open and closed at the top, in particular also transversely resilient frame part 9 which in the assembled state substantially vertically from bottom to top extending frame portions 10, 11 which are spaced apart in the transverse direction, and an upper transversely extending frame portion 12th comprising the vertical frame portions 10, 11 interconnected at their upper ends.
  • the lower ends of the vertical frame portions 10, 11 are preferably formed by bending lower end portions of the vertical frame portions 10, 11 upwardly so as to be approximately parallel to the vertical frame portions 10, 11. This results in lower, arcuate or rounded ends whose function will be explained later in more detail.
  • the vertical frame portions 10, 11 extend starting from the ends of the upper frame portion 12 initially obliquely toward each other such that they have in their central region the smallest distance 18 from each other. Starting from the middle region, the vertical frame regions 10, 11 extend obliquely outwards again, so that the lower end regions have a spacing from one another in the transverse direction which preferably corresponds approximately to the spacing 19 of the upper end regions of the vertical frame regions 10, 11.
  • the vertical frame regions 10, 11 run according to FIG. 4 each arcuately such that the frame part 9, the back wall 8 of the backpack 1 in the assembled state concavely.
  • the areas below the central regions with the smallest distance 18 extend arcuately toward the power supply 17, so that a particularly good force on the lap belt 4 results in approximately vertical direction.
  • the frame part 9 is inserted with its lower ends first from the side of the packing space 5 forth through the opening 6 of the rear wall 8.
  • the frame member 9 is pushed along the outside of the rear wall 8 as far down until its lower ends engage in insertion pockets 15, 16, which are at the lower end of the outside of the rear wall 8 in the transverse direction spaced from each other, preferably sewn.
  • the transverse opening 6 of the rear wall 8 is spaced from the upper edge of the back wall 8 such that in the upper end region of the back wall 8 above the opening 6 there is an upper insertion pocket 20 for receiving the upper transversely extending frame portion 12 of the frame member 9 ,
  • this insertion pocket 20 is bounded on the outside by the power supply 17 and on the inside by the rear wall 8.
  • Seen in the vertical direction is located approximately in the central region of the length of the vertical frame portions 10, 11 on the outside of the rear wall 8, a holding device 21 for fixing the vertical frame portions 10, 11 in a defined position on the back wall 8 of the backpack.
  • this holding device 21 is formed by the fact that on the outside of the back wall 8 a, for example made of plastic, planar reinforcing region 22 is fastened, preferably sewn, against which the central regions of the frame member 9 and outwardly over the central regions of the vertical frame portions 10th , 11 extending retaining tabs 23, 24 which, with the help of Velcro fasteners are attachable to the reinforcing member 22, such that the central portions of the vertical frame portions 10, 11 are fixed between the retaining tabs 23 and 24 and the reinforcing portion 22 in the aforementioned predetermined position.
  • the frame part 9 Due to the illustrated structure of the backpack 1 according to the invention, it is particularly easy to fasten the frame part 9 to the outside of the back wall 8, that after opening the zipper 7, 7 closing the opening 6 in a simple manner into the space between the outside the back wall 8 and the inside of the power supply 17 is pushed down until the ends of the vertical frame portions 10, 11 engage in the lower pockets 15, 16.
  • the transversely extending frame portion 12 can then be inserted into the upper insertion pocket 20 formed above the opening 6.
  • the vertical frame portions 10, 11 are resiliently tensioned, so that the back wall 8 is concave in front of the power supply 17 and the required for the ventilation of the back of a backpack carrier distance between the back wall 8 and the power supply 17 results.
  • the central portions of the vertical frame portions 10, 11 are then secured to the reinforcing portion 22 with the aid of the retaining tabs 23, 24.
