- Figure 2 shows an alternative embodiment wherein the lower sealing portion 30 of the cut-off element 22 extends below the lower group of inner openings both in the closed and in the open position of the cut-off element 22.
- the cut off element is guided on the lower sealing portion 30, below the lower group of inner openings 18.
- manufacturing of the cut-off element 22 is simplified because drilling of relatively big holes on the cut off element 22 is avoided and only small holes might be required just to balance pressures on the end face of the cut-off element. No holes bigger than 35% of the diameter of the cut-off element 22 are formed. In this way the cut-off element 22 is subjected to much smaller stresses than in prior art designs thus increasing the reliability of the component. This design also provides a very high sac volume reduction.
- Figures 3 and 4 show a further solution for closing the injection holes with nearly zero sac volume and without any radial forces caused by the fluid flow dynamic, which can lead to friction between the nozzle wall and valve body.
- the cut-off element is designed as a pipe and a spherical element 44, such as a ball, is positioned on the bottom end of the longitudinal bore 14. In the closed position the bottom end of the cut-off element 22 abuts on the spherical element 44 and closes the main flow on the sealing surface of the spherical element 44.
- an elastic disc 46 is provided at the upper end of the longitudinal bore 14.
- a spindle 48 is provided with a conical sealing portion 50 above the cut-off element 22. The sealing area between the conical sealing portion 50 and the disc 46 is closed at the same time as the bottom end of the cut-off element 22 contacts the spherical element 44.
- the embodiments of figures 2 , 3 and 4 are supposed to have the same guiding portion 38 as disclosed with reference to figure 1 , as well as all the other features of claim 1, in particular an upper and a lower group of inlet openings and upper and lower sealing portions of the longitudinal bore and the cut-off element.

Claims (5)
- Ein Kraftstoffinjektor für Verbrennungsmotoren, aufweisend:- einen Zerstäuber (10), der eine longitudinale Bohrung (14) hat und eine Mehrzahl von Düsenbohrungen (16), welche Einlassöffnungen (18) haben, die der longitudinalen Bohrung (14) zugewandt sind, wobei die Einlassöffnungen (18) unterteilt sind in eine obere Gruppe und eine untere Gruppe, beabstandet voneinander in einer longitudinalen Richtung (A), und- ein Unterbrechungselement (22), das sich in die longitudinale Bohrung (14) von dem Zerstäuber (10) erstreckt, wobei das Unterbrechungselement (22) in der longitudinalen Richtung (A) bezüglich der longitudinalen Bohrung (14) zwischen einer offenen und einer geschlossenen Position beweglich ist,wobei die longitudinale Bohrung (14) und das Unterbrechungselement (22) jeweilige obere und untere Dichtabschnitte (24, 28, 26, 30) haben, die miteinander in der geschlossenen Position von dem Unterbrechungselement (22) zusammenwirken, um eine obere und eine untere Unterbrechungssektion (32, 34) zu definieren, welche sich jeweils über der oberen Gruppe von Einlassöffnungen (18) und unter der unteren Gruppe von Einlassöffnungen (18) erstrecken,
gekennzeichnet dadurch, dass das Unterbrechungselement (22) mit einer unterstützenden Führungssektion (38) versehen ist, die in führendem Kontakt mit dem oberen Dichtabschnitt (24) von der longitudinalen Bohrung (14) ist, wobei die unterstützende Führungssektion (38) eine Mehrzahl von Führungsrippen (40) beinhaltet, die zylindrische äußere Oberflächen haben, die in gleitendem Kontakt mit dem zylindrischen oberen Dichtabschnitt (24) von der longitudinalen Bohrung (14) in der offenen Position von dem Unterbrechungselement (22) sind, wobei die Führungsrippen (40) in umlaufender Weise voneinander beabstanded sind durch Kanäle (42), die in der offenen Position von dem Unterbrechungselement (22) das Durchtreten von einem Kraftstofffluss durch sich erlauben. - Ein Kraftstoffinjektor gemäß Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet dadurch, dass sich der untere Dichtabschnitt (30) von dem Unterbrechungselement (22) in der offenen Position von dem Unterbrechungselement (22) zwischen der oberen und der unteren Gruppe von inneren Öffnungen (18) erstreckt.
- Ein Kraftstoffinjektor gemäß Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet dadurch, dass sich der untere Dichtabschnitt (30) von dem Unterbrechungselement (22) in der offenen Position von dem Unterbrechungselement (22) unter der unteren Gruppe von inneren Öffnungen (18) erstreckt.
- Ein Kraftstoffinjektor gemäß Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet dadurch, dass das Unterbrechungselement (22) ein unteres Ende hat, welches in der geschlossenen Position in dichtendem Kontakt gegen ein sphärisches Element (44) anstößt.
- Ein Kraftstoffinjektor gemäß Anspruch 4, gekennzeichnet dadurch, dass eine defomierbare Scheibe (46) bereitgestellt ist, an einem oberen Ende der longitudinalen Bohrung (14) und ein konischer Dichtabschnitt (50) bereitgestellt ist an einem oberen Ende von dem Unterbrechungselement (22), wobei der konische Dichtabschnitt (50) gegen die deformierbare Scheibe (46) in der geschlossenen Position von dem Unterbrechungselement (22) anstößt.
