Definitions
- the invention relates to a roller shutter box, in particular a roller shutter box composed of plastic extrusion and / or injection molded parts, with a front wall, a rear wall and a ceiling wall, and two end walls closing the roller shutter box laterally, preferably an inlet part for guiding the slats into a vertically extending one Guide groove is provided, in addition a base base part is provided on the bottom, for connecting the roller shutter box to a window and / or door frame, which base base part is preferably connected to the end walls in a form-fitting manner, the bottom of the roller shutter box being further formed by one or more base supplement parts, wherein at least one supplementary floor part is arranged between the rear wall and the base base part and optionally a further supplementary floor part between the base base part and the front wall.
- roller shutter boxes of the type in question are known.
- the roller shutter box shown and described there has an at least two-part base, a base base part and a base supplement part, further in the form of a bottom flap profile.
- the latter is arranged between the base part of the base and the rear wall and, in addition to supplementing the box base, also serves as an inspection flap, in order to provide access to the interior of the roller shutter box, in particular access to a roller shutter or the like accommodated in the box.
- From the DE 296 14 006 U1 is also a roller shutter box with a base part known as a base, in which an unchangeable arrangement of the base base part is provided relative to the end walls.
- a roller shutter box in which an angle part is arranged to secure a window frame against transverse movements in the roller shutter box, the leg associated with the bottom part is length-adjustable due to an elongated hole or several holes with regard to the use of the angle with differently sized roller shutter boxes.
- the invention is concerned with the task of specifying a roller shutter box which has a favorable adaptability to structural conditions and / or a curtain to be accommodated, such as, for example, roller shutters or external venetian blinds.
- the invention proposes a roller shutter box, which is further characterized in that the base base part is provided such that it can be displaced horizontally relative to the end walls in order to achieve different installation situations of the roller shutter box, wherein in the end walls facing the base base part, a plurality of protrusion shapes or spacings, preferably evenly spaced apart in the horizontal direction, are provided. Projection receptacles are formed so that a horizontally oriented grid is formed, in which grid the base base part can be plug-fixed in the horizontal direction and / or wherein holes are provided in the end wall corresponding to the different horizontal positions of the base base part, for the enforcement of fixing screws engaging in the base part on the end face.
- variable positioning of the base base part in the roller shutter box thus enables adaptation to the structural conditions.
- the proposed roller shutter box can thus be used universally, in particular regardless of the horizontal distance between a window or window given by the structural conditions in the installed state. or door frame outer surface and the outward-facing surface of the box-side front wall.
- the base base part can be placed in the roller shutter box as a function of this horizontal distance, more preferably without tools, more preferably because of the simple plug-in and / or screw connection.
- the base part of the base - with reference to an installation situation of the roller shutter box - can be moved in the horizontal direction, further in the floor level of the roller shutter box, with the usual support of the roller shutter box on the frame in each plug-in position of the base part, more preferably with a positive connection to the latter.
- the bottom base profile can be defined in the desired horizontal orientation in a manner that is favorable in terms of handling, for example on site, that is, preferably immediately before installation of the roller shutter box or, as is more preferred, as part of a preparatory assembly of the roller shutter box.
- the end walls, the top, front and rear walls of the roller shutter box are always unchanged in their position regardless of the position of the base part, while the base part lying on the frame always has the same relative position to the frame.
- the floor extension part extending between the base base part and the rear wall is further preferably designed in the form of a floor flap profile in accordance with the above-described prior art, in order in this way to offer a floor-side inspection flap.
- the installation location of the base part is given by the selected width of the base part.
- the floor supplement defines the horizontal distance between the box rear wall and the floor base part.
- a given floor supplement acts like a teaching for the floor base.
- the base base part and the base supplement part are latched together, so that a unit of base supplement part and base base part assigned to each other in this manner and associated with the rear wall can be inserted in the roller shutter box. This clearly defines the relative distance between the base part of the floor and the rear wall. The same can be fixed here, for example, due to simple screwing, further, for example, by screwing in self-tapping screws from the outside of the end walls into the profile of the base base part.
- roller shutter box can also be used individually, regardless of the type of roller shutter, so on, for example, regardless of whether a conventional roller shutter curtain is installed or, for example, a Venetian blind, or whether the roller shutter box is designed for inspection from the inside or Outside.
- the slat guide part bridges the horizontal distance between an outer frame surface and an inner surface of the roller shutter box end wall.
- a slat guide part can also be used with respect to at least two different horizontal positions or two different horizontal distances between the outer surface of the frame and the inner surface of the box end wall, furthermore, if necessary, an insert part bridging a given horizontal distance is provided.
- the slat guide part has adapted widths that relate to a horizontal extension in the installed state.
- the inlet part is on Adaptation to outlet openings of different widths, further possibly also to be adapted to be adapted to adapt to differently wide slat guide parts on the front side of the slat guide part.
- different inlet parts can be assigned to adapt to slats and / or slat guide parts of different widths.
- the different inlet parts extend in one embodiment, each in their installation situation, starting from the inner surface of the end wall in the direction of the rear wall, each more preferably bridging the free horizontal distance between a frame outside and an inner surface of the end wall.
- the inlet part to be used can also be used as a teaching for positioning the base part by the installation location of the base part is predetermined by the selected width of the inlet part.
- the formations formed on the end walls and / or the base part are only partially used in each position of the base part.
- the required position of the base base part is preferably given according to a plug connection between the latter and the two end walls of the roller shutter box which run parallel to one another.
- the base base part preferably has protrusion-like formations on both ends, which cooperate with projection receptacles correspondingly positioned in the end walls.
- the end walls have such protrusion formations and the base base part have corresponding protrusion receptacles on both ends.
- a plurality of protrusion shapes or protrusion receptacles are formed in the end walls facing the base base part, so that a horizontally oriented grid is formed, in which grid the base base part can be inserted in the horizontal direction.
- the projections provided for plug-in fixing are shaped like a pin, this being further preferred with a circular cross-section, or alternatively with a square or elongated rectangular cross-section.
- the recesses receiving these projections are preferably adapted to the cross-section.
- the plug-in projection is provided in particular when the same is formed on the base part due to a partial extension of the base part profile.
- the projections necessary for all horizontal positions of the base profile part are preferably available for use, of which only a part is used in a selected position during the other projections are unused.
- the projections are designed or prepared in such a way that the unused projections can be removed, for example broken off.
- bores, possibly pre-embossed partial bores are provided in the end wall in accordance with the different, preferably predetermined horizontal positions of the base base part, for the enforcement of fixing screws which preferably engage in the end part on the front side.
- the base base part can be fixed horizontally relative to the end walls in three different installation locations. According to the above explanations, these different installation locations lie in a common horizontal plane, further in the floor plane of the roller shutter box, whereby in a preferred embodiment a installation location of the floor base part defines a configuration of the roller shutter box in which a revision from the room side, that is to say from the inside, is made possible is. Another installation location of the floor base part defines a configuration of the roller shutter box with a preferred revision from the outside, with both of the above-described configurations being more preferably related to the use of a conventional roller shutter curtain.
- the third installation location which is further preferably predetermined and / or results from the horizontal widths of the inlet part and / or the floor supplement part, preferably defines a box configuration for using a venetian blind curtain or the like.
- a shape-adapted base part is used, in particular with reference to a base part to be inserted between the base part and the rear wall.
- a shape-adapted base part is used, in particular with reference to a base part to be inserted between the base part and the rear wall.
- a preferred embodiment has proven to be particularly advantageous in which the floor supplement part can be provided starting from a floor supplement part of the greatest width by cutting to length in selected areas.
- the greatest width of the floor supplement part results from the maximum, clear distance dimension between the floor base part and the rear wall.
- the floor supplement part can be cut to the width resulting from the installation of the base base part, this is further preferred according to cutting, possibly by breaking off.
- the floor supplement part is further preferably adapted to the preferred grid for fixing the base base part with predetermined cutting lines or the like, which can further be provided with latching indicators in such a way that the user immediately, if necessary, without further measurement of the gap which arises in the floor area and which is to be closed with the floor supplement part specifies the required width dimension of the floor supplement.
- Such cutting lines are further characterized, for example, by notches running parallel to one another in the longitudinal extension of the base supplement part.
- the cut to be made to achieve the required width of the floor supplement part is not necessarily perpendicular to a plane extension of the floor supplement part.
- the floor supplement part can be latched or plugged in both on the rear wall and on the floor base part.
- the base supplement part has a latching tongue formed with a latching profile in each predetermined width (corresponding to the predetermined latching) , Provided ready for locking engagement in a corresponding shape of the base base part in the free area of the base supplement part of the greatest width that can be assigned to the base base part.
- this Corresponding to the predefined width grid of the floor supplement part, this has areas which, according to the width adjustment, expose locking tongues, for example by cutting.
- each given width of the floor supplement part is provided with a latching tongue which is designed with a latching profile and which can preferably be used without further measures for latching engagement with the bottom base part.
- the latching tongue is opposite a profile-free insertion tongue, with the latching tongue in the installed state preferably being assigned to the upward side, that is to say into the box-facing side, of the floor supplement part, while the profile-free insertion tongue is, in a further preferred embodiment, a partial section of the in the installed state downward the flat profile area of the floor supplement facing towards the interior of the room.
- the slat guide part further preferably has two parallel guide grooves, a fly screen being guided in the second guide groove in a preferred embodiment.
- the corresponding fly screen grille roller blind can be fastened in different positions relative to the slat guide part, further particularly fastenable to the inlet parts assigned to the end walls, alternatively to the end walls of the roller shutter box.
- the latter have roller blind fixing forms which are further preferably provided in a grid-like manner with horizontal spacing.
- Such a fly screen grille blind fixation is preferably formed on the insertable, width-matched inlet part, so that the different positioning of the fly screen grille blind can be achieved together with the possible plug arrangement of the possibly adjusted width entry part relative to the end wall.
- the axis of rotation of the fly screen roller blind in a first position is arranged in a projection onto a horizontal plane between the running grooves and in a second position is arranged offset with respect to both running grooves to the rear wall of the roller shutter box, this further preferably depending on the width the slats on the roller shutter side. If, for example, a conventional roller shutter curtain with a relatively small slat width is installed in or inserted into the roller shutter box, the axis of rotation of the fly screen roller blind preferably extends between the running grooves.
- the axis of rotation of the fly screen roller blind is arranged so as to enable a correspondingly large bottom opening area to be penetrated by the slats in the direction of the rear wall, more preferably in the direction of the base part of the base, further preferably such that there is an opposite rolling direction of the blind compared to the arrangement between the running grooves.
- the fly screen roller blind In a trained position of the fly screen roller blind, preferably in a position in which the axis of rotation of the roller blind is offset with respect to both grooves to the rear wall of the roller shutter box, the fly screen roller blind, at least one receiving box of the same, lies in an enclosed one Angular range between an upper horizontal plane of the floor base part and a front vertical plane of the window and / or door frame.
- the base base part In the corner area facing the fly screen roller blind or the receiving box of the same, the base base part is correspondingly provided with a cross-sectional recess, for example a concave adjustment, which enables the collision-free and, furthermore, space-saving arrangement of the fly screen roller blind.
- the angle range which is set between the upper horizontal plane of the base part of the floor, that is to say towards the inside of the box, and the outwardly pointing vertical plane of the frame is accordingly preferably exempted.
- roller shutter box 1 in which a roller shutter 2, shown only schematically, is accommodated.
- the roller shutter box 1 is composed of hollow plastic profiles, more preferably made of plastic extrusion and / or injection molded plastic parts, wherein the roller shutter box 1 can be placed on a frame 3 of a window and / or a door.
- the roller shutter box 1 has a ceiling wall 4 facing the lintel in the installed state shown, from each of which a rear wall 5 and a front wall 6 project vertically.
- the roller shutter box 1 can be placed on the frame 3 via a bottom part arranged between the rear wall 5 and the front wall 6. Furthermore, the roller shutter box 1 is closed in the usual manner at each end with end walls 7.
- the base part is formed in two parts and consists of a base base part 8, via which the roller shutter box 1 is firmly connected to the frame 3, and a base supplement part 9. Both are also designed as hollow plastic profiles.
- the floor supplement 9 is preferably removable for inspection from the inside or from below, even in the installation situation of the roller shutter box 1, for which purpose the floor supplement 9 is plugged into the rear wall 5 at one end and interacts with the base base part 8 via a snap-in holder.
- each end wall 7 has shapes, more preferably perpendicularly to the plane extension of the wall surface pointing towards the inside of the box, elongated in cross-section rectangularly shaped pins 11. These are cross-sectionally adapted to the cross-sectional chambers 12 of the base base part 8.
- pins 11 are provided with horizontal spacing along a horizontal plane, so further in the exemplary embodiment shown five such pins 11. These are further positioned according to a predetermined arrangement grid of the base part 8, with only two pins 11 in each case in a plug-in assignment position of the base part 8 in associated chambers 12 of the Intervene in the base base part 8 in a form-fitting manner, while the further pins 11 are not used in this base base part position, and are removed if necessary. More preferably, the base base part 8 is received in each case on the end face in a horizontal guide 38 of the end walls 7.
- screw channels 13 are further prepared in each end wall 7 on the outside of the wall, that is to say facing the outer surface of each end wall facing away from the inside of the box, to which wall holes on the inside of the wall, ie facing the inside of the box, are preferably assigned in the axial extension of the screw channels 13.
- Each horizontal position of the base part 8 is assigned two such screw channels 13, which further shows that according to the arrangement of the Pin 11, further corresponding to the number of screw channels 13 are provided along a horizontal plane at grid intervals.
- the screw channels 13 to be used in the required horizontal position of the base part 8 are preferably drilled, after which screws 14 engage from the outside through the respective end wall 7 in a correspondingly form-fitting chamber section 15 of the base part 8.
- three different horizontal positions of the base part 8 are predetermined and can be taken up optionally, each by fixing the base part 8 to the end walls 7 as a result of the end pins 11 engaging in the chambers 12 of the base part 8 and securing by means of the associated ones Screw channels 13 penetrating and engaging in the chamber sections 15 of the base part 8.
- the base supplement 9 to be used here must have different widths when viewed transversely to its longitudinal extent.
- the floor supplement 9 in a preferred embodiment initially has a width b, which corresponds to the free horizontal distance between the base part 8 and the rear wall 5 according to the positioning of the base part 8 in Figure 1 equivalent.
- This horizontal position of the base part 8 corresponds to the maximum horizontal distance from the rear wall 5.
- this has along the rear wall 5 facing edge edge a circular cross-section latching formation 16 for cooperation with a correspondingly designed, vertically downward facing recess 17 of the rear wall 5.
- the opposite end in cross section of the latching formation 16 is the floor supplement part 9 provided with a locking tongue 18.
- a ceiling section 19 which projects freely in cross-section and a substantially freely projecting floor section 20 which runs essentially parallel thereto is established.
- the latter is flat, for forming a profile-free insertion tongue 21.
- the ceiling section 19 is provided with a locking profile 22 for forming the latching tongue 18, which in the exemplary embodiment shown is formed by a semicircular depression in cross section in the direction of the interior of the floor supplement part 9. This accordingly results in an inwardly bulging latching bead which preferably extends over the entire length of the base supplement 9.
- the locking profile 32 is repeated on the ceiling side of the floor supplement part 9 in accordance with the predetermined horizontal plug-in grid of the floor base part 8. This further results in a grid for the lengthwise cutting of the floor supplement part 9, so that, according to the lengthening of the same, the width dimension b ' Figure 4 can achieve a floor supplement 9, which can be locked in a horizontal insertion position of the base part 8 according to Figure 6 ,
- the floor supplement 9 as shown in Figure 5 cut to a width dimension b ", the respective width b to b" relating to the non-changeable region of the catch part 16 on the supplementary part side.
- each predetermined width extension of the floor supplement 9 there are locking tongues 18 provided with locking profiles 22 on the ceiling section side and insertion tongues 21 on the floor section side.
- the inside of the roller shutter box 1 is accessed in the positions of the floor base part 8 as shown in FIGS Figures 6 and 7 preferably from the outside by opening the roller shutter box 1 in the region of the front wall 6; alternatively from the inside by opening the rear wall 5.
- a roller shutter 2 with a roller shutter curtain 24 is used in each case.
- the slats 25 of the roller shutter curtain 24 are guided on the underside of the roller shutter box in the course of the vertical lowering or raising in a first guide groove 26.
- the latter is formed in a slat guide part 27 or 27 ′ which can be assigned to the side wall of the window or door reveal.
- a fly screen roller blind 28 is fixed in the roller shutter box 1, the grille of which is guided in the course of the vertical lowering or raising in a second guide groove 29 running parallel to the first guide groove 26, which second guide groove 29 also in the slat guide part 27 or 27 ' is trained.
- the slats 25 of the venetian blind curtain 30 are guided with respect to their width extent centrally on both sides of their longitudinal extent, for which purpose the corresponding Guide groove 26 may have an insert guiding the lamellae.
- the slat guide part 27 'corresponding to the version in the second configuration (cf. Figure 6 ) is provided, which slat guide part 27 'also connects directly to the end face 10 of the frame 3 here. Because the clear width in the configuration according Figure 7 between the frame front wall 7 and the front wall of the front wall 6 is greater than the width of the slat guide part 27 'viewed in the same direction, this is further associated with an additional part 31 extending to the level of the front wall front surface.
- the guide groove 29 for the fly screen runs between the guide groove 26 for the slats 25 and the frame 3, with the guide groove 29 always being at the same horizontal distance from the end face 10 of the frame 3 or from the edge 3 of the slat guide part 27 or the edge 3 to be assigned to the frame 3.
- 27 ' is predetermined, which horizontal distance preferably corresponds to 0.6 to 0.9 times the groove width considered in the same direction.
- an inlet part 32, 32 ' can be plug-assigned to each slat guide part 27 or 27'. This can be assigned to the end face of the respective guide part 27 or 27 ′ pointing vertically upwards to the box interior and has an inlet shoulder 33 pointing vertically upwards into the box interior.
- the inlet part 32 or 32 Associated with each end wall 7, the inlet part 32 or 32 'extends at least into the in the Figures 1 and 6 Configurations shown starting from the inside of the front wall 6 up to the base part 8. Due to the different horizontal spacings of the base part 8 to the inner surface of the front wall 6, two inlet parts 32 and 32 'result with different horizontal lengths (compare Figures 9 and 10 ), with the inlet shoulder 33 of each inlet part 32, 32 'being equally spaced from the edge of the inlet part 32, 32' which can be assigned to the inner surface of the front wall 6.
- each inlet part 32, 32 ' forms a shape-adapted support shoulder 39, by means of which the inlet part 32, 32' is supported on the assigned area of the base part 8.
- the first inlet part 32 acts with the slat guide part 27 according to the first configuration Figure 1 together in a plug-in position.
- a vertically downwardly projecting pin 34 of the inlet part 32 dips into a blind hole 35 provided on the end face of the lamella guide part 27.
- the latter is supported with a section on the inside of the front wall 6 facing the bottom section of the same; at the other end via the support shoulder 39 on the base part 8.
- the inlet shoulder 33 which extends over a maximum of its vertical extent parallel to the inner wall of the front wall 6, is spaced apart by a horizontal dimension from the inner surface of the front wall 6, which guides the plunging of the roller shutter slats 25 allows, supports the trouble-free transition from the roller shutter shaft into the associated guide groove 26.
- the vertical surface of the inlet shoulder 33 pointing outwards in the direction of the inner surface of the front wall 6 preferably lies in a vertical plane given by the inner groove wall of the guide groove 26.
- the same inlet part 32 is also the slat guide part 27 'of the third configuration according to FIG Figure 7 assignable.
- the latter is provided with two blind bores 35, 35 'spaced apart in the width direction of the lamella guide part 27' for the optional plug-in fixing of the inlet part 32 or 32 ' in the Venetian blind curtain configuration, the blind hole 35 'extending in a region between the guide grooves 26 and 29 is used for the plug-in fixing by the pin 34 on the inlet part engaging in it.
- the second, horizontally elongated inlet part 32 ' is used, with the plug-in assignment of the inlet part 32' to the slat guide part 27 'identical to the arrangement according to the first configuration, corresponding to the leading introduction of the roller shutter slats 25 into the associated guide groove 26, the pin 34 engages in the first blind hole 35.
- the fly screen roller blind 28 can also be fastened in different horizontal positions.
- the latter is rotatably held in the two inlet parts 32 and 32 'assigned to the end walls 7, a roller blind axis x being arranged in parallel with a shaft axis y of the roller shutter 2.
- the horizontal positioning of the fly screen roller blind 28 is directly dependent on the horizontal position of the inlet part 32 or on the choice of the inlet part 32, 32 '.
- receptacles for holding the roller blind 28 are formed on the inside of the end walls 7 on the inside of the wall.
- the fly screen roller blind 28 is received in a receiving box 36.
- a guide channel 37 which points vertically downward in the installation position, is formed on this, through which the fly screen is guided into the associated guide groove 29.
- the fly screen roller blind 28 is arranged such that its roller blind axis x is offset from the rear wall 5 with respect to a projection onto a horizontal plane with respect to both running grooves 26 and 29, further into a position in which the roller blind axis x is approximately in one through the frame end wall 7 extends given vertical plane.
- the fly screen roller blind 28 or its receiving box 36 also lies in an angular range (at least partially) enclosed between the upper, that is to say towards the inside of the box, horizontal plane of the base part 8 and the vertical plane given by the end wall 7 of the frame, at least partially Enabling such a positioning of the corner region of the base base part 8 pointing upwards and forwards in the direction of the front wall 6 is rounded concavely in a cross section, so that this corner region is free for engagement of a section of the roller blind 28 or the receiving box 36.
- the support shoulder 39 of the inlet part 23 or 23 ' is adapted to this concavely rounded region of the base base profile 8.
- fly screen roller blind 28 Such an orientation of the fly screen roller blind 28 is also shown in the third configuration Figure 7 given. With respect to the illustrations, the fly screen can be unwound from the roller blind 28 as a result of the roller blind 28 rotating counterclockwise.
- roller blind axis x extends in a projection onto a horizontal plane between the guide grooves 26 and 29, which furthermore results in a pull-off direction in the clockwise direction according to the corresponding alignment of the receiving box 36 and the guide channel 37 arranged thereon.
- the fly screen roller blind 28 or a cassette which receives the blind, in particular to an end wall or to an inlet part, one can also be used only as a cover - in the simplest case an "empty" cassette, preferably a cross section, for example U-shaped part - serving part in the roller shutter box 1 are attached.
- no fly screen roller blind 28 is provided.
- a cover strip is preferably inserted between the base base profile 8 and the inlet shoulder 33 for closing the roller shutter box 1 on the underside, more preferably a cover strip with a U-shaped cross section, with a U-opening pointing towards the inside of the box.
- the fixing is then achieved by supporting the two U-legs on the one hand on the inlet shoulder 33 and on the other hand on or on the base base profile 8.
- the cover strip is accordingly only plug / clamp.
- the U-web connecting the U-legs and forming the cover plane pointing outwards and downwards can have an inward-pointing angular section, for preferred interaction with a stop formed on the inlet part 32 ′ mounted on the end wall, with further preferred end support of the Cover strip on the inlet part 32 '.
- a positioning of the base part 8 is also possible as a teaching with the help of adjacent components.
- the inlet part 23, 23 ' can also be shown in FIG Figure 12 serve as teaching. As described above, the two inlet parts 23, 23 'have different lengths with respect to their horizontal extent in the installed state, so that after fixing them on the roller shutter box or on the slat guide part 27 or 27', the horizontal distance of the base base part 8 from the inner surface the front wall 6 is defined.
- roller shutter box 1 is in a further embodiment as a universal roller shutter box, for the appropriate assembly, which in addition to the usual parts for forming the roller shutter box, such as front wall 6, rear wall 5, ceiling wall 4 and end walls 7, a base base part 8 and a length which can be cut to length Floor supplement 9, possibly two different inlet parts 32 and 32 'and possibly two different slat guide parts 27 and 27' are present.
