  • each member consists of two z. B. deformed limbs.
  • the limbs can through Forming, such as drawing, pressure forming or bending forming are produced.
  • the at least two members are produced by deep drawing, in particular hydrodynamically.
  • the workpiece is attached to a receptacle on a drawing die and then pressed with a punch in the die.
  • the draw punch or, alternatively, the die is replaced by a sealed space or container which by increasing the internal pressure of the space or container is able to exert a compressive force on the workpiece abutting this container or space and thereby the Workpiece in the die or on or to press the drawing punch.
  • the hydrodynamic deep drawing has the advantage that the sheet thickness remains substantially constant during deep drawing and a high surface quality is achieved. With this method, very thin sheets can be formed with, for example, a thickness of 0.05 mm. The fact that the individual members have a very low weight, very large sculptures can be produced.
  • the workpiece may be treated before or after forming, such as by surface finishing or heat treatment, such as recrystallizing the material, to obtain improved aesthetics or material properties.
  • two member parts are made with the same die or / and the same drawing punch to then connect the two member parts to form a member.

  • the material may be steel, especially in a non-rusting alloy.
  • the material has a high ductility, so that no cracks occur during deep drawing.
  • a semifinished product in particular a plate-shaped semifinished product, such as, for example, a sheet, in particular a flat sheet, is used as the starting material for the forming. Due to the thickness and the choice or the composition of the material, the material property of the member of the sculpture can be defined. It is advantageous if the limb parts are cup-shaped and / or thin-walled, so that the member composed of the limb parts has a hollow profile, for a sculpture with a low weight.
  • the preferred thickness of the semifinished product is 0.05 to 2 millimeters. However, depending on the size of the member or the sculpture, a thicker sheet metal can be used, which may have up to 30 millimeters thick.
  • Each of the at least two links comprises a supporting element in addition to the at least one limb made by forming.
  • the support element is elongate, in particular rod-shaped and may for example be formed from a solid material, wherein for reasons of weight instead of a solid material a tube, ie a hollow, elongated body with z. B. a substantially closed contour is preferred.
  • the at least one deformed member part may surround the support element.
  • two deformed and joined limb parts may be arranged around support members.
  • the longitudinal axis of the support element and of the at least one limb part, in particular of the assembled deformed limb parts may be parallel or even congruent.

  • the at least one limb part can be arranged with a radial distance, ie substantially not fitting against the support element, apart from the ends of the at least one limb part, which on the Supporting element are attached. Suitable for this purpose are the joining methods mentioned herein.
  • an annular gap is formed between the points at which the at least one deformed member part is attached to the support element.
  • the support element can be formed from the same material as the support element or another material, in particular referred to herein, for the support element.
  • the construction of the member with a support member and at least one deformed member allows the use of a very thin sheet for the at least one deformed member. This can weight and cost, eg. As in expensive materials for the deformed limbs, can be saved. In addition, this can increase the stability of the sculpture.
  • the sculpture comprises at least two in particular individual limbs, z. B. two half shells or two limbs or generally two deformed limbs or two support members which are connectable or connected to a hinge.
  • the sculpture can consist of two half-shells.

  • the hinge has a device which allows locking of the angular position of the members to each other. This locking device may be a brake, such as a clamping device, a screw connection or a snap lock.
  • the fixed hinge connection is detachable, so that the members in different positions, in particular angular positions fixed to each other, then solved and can be fixed again in another position, so that, for example, the appearance or appearance of the sculpture can be changed.
  • the joint can move freely.
  • the joint can enable the replacement of the joint arranged on the member, in which case the connection between the member and the joint is completely dissolved. This allows the repair of defective links or the attachment of a different link on the sculpture, such as another wrist or other headboard.
  • the sculpture can be between 0.2 to 15 meters high or even higher. This is made possible by the construction of the at least one member or the individual members, in particular by the thin-walled member parts produced by forming. Among other things, the strength and the ductility of the material to be formed are decisive for this.
  • the sculpture comprises a plurality of links and joints, so that a high number of movements of the links to each other is possible.
  • the sculpture represents a human or an animal. However, other animals or objects are also representable.
  • a limb may be, for example, a thigh, lower leg, foot, upper arm, forearm, head or torso of the sculpture.
  • Other pieces of sculpture, such as the joints may be made by another manufacturing method, such as a casting method, a galvanic manufacturing process for making a galvanoplasty, or a machining process.
  • the head may be or have a Galvanoplastik.
  • the head of the sculpture may comprise several parts joined together by one of the methods mentioned herein, such as, e.g. B. are welded together.

  • the parts of the head may, of course, be cup-shaped, like the other limbs mentioned herein, and / or be made by the mentioned methods.
  • the construction of the head allows individual parts to be made by a different process than other parts of the head. It is conceivable that the left and right or the lower and the upper head portion are made by a forming process and the face by another method mentioned herein or even by forming.
  • the lower and upper head portion is preferably symmetrical, such as. B. also the Geischt.
  • the advantage of the invention is based on the fact that after a single production of a die for a limb part of the sculpture, the die is reused as often as desired and thus the limb part can be produced more cheaply than, for example, by casting with a lost shape, such as a sand mold.
  • Another advantage is that the joints can be designed such that a replacement of the arranged on the joint member is possible. This is advantageous for repair purposes of the limb.
  • the disassembly of the sculpture into individual limbs and the low weight of the limbs facilitate the transport.
  • existing links can be replaced with links of different material, appearance or design.
  • a sculpture can be made up to 15 meters high or even higher because the thin-walled limbs are light, as opposed to castings requiring a large wall thickness, for example a sculpture 2.5 meters high and with a wall thickness of 0 , 2 mm consisting of aluminum weigh about 10 kg, whereby the movements of the sculpture can be realized in a simplified manner. Furthermore, the sculpture is weather-resistant due to the production of metal.
