Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method and an apparatus according to the preamble of claim 12 for the production of pressed powder elements from powder blanks, which are pre-pressed from a certain volume of cosmetic loose powder.
  • Such a device is from document JP 62 2155 15 disclosed.
  • the base material is often a mixture of various constituents, which each have a dust, powder, com, or granular state and have been mixed or processed in this state to form the material to be pressed.
  • Cosmetic powders usually consist of a filler phase, a binder phase and a coloring phase and an active phase together.
  • the binder phase may in principle be a separate phase or be realized by an oil component which has been sprayed onto the filler phase.
  • a pressed powder element is produced by means of a mold.
  • the shape is designed such that it has a plurality of fillable areas. These areas can, for example, form a logo and its border. These different areas can be filled with different loose powders. Since the areas extend over the entire height of the mold, a lettering resulting from the areas is also completely embedded in the powder element and not only placed on it as described above. After filling, the mold is removed and the still loose powder is pressed together to form a powder element. In this way, a powder element, which, for example, has a lettering that extends through the entire height of the pressed powder element and therefore can not be worn by the use of the powder element.
  • the inventive method for producing a pressed powder element comprises, that pre-pressing of loose powder to a first powder blank and the pre-pressing of loose powder to a second powder blank and the subsequent compression of the at least two pre-pressed powder blanks to form a powder element.
  • the pre-pressing of the loose powder into powder blanks is done for example in a compression chamber by means of a movable punch which reduces the volume available for the loose powder volume in the compression chamber and thus mechanically pressed and / or the pre-pressing is done pneumatically by a negative pressure generated in the compression chamber ,

  • the loose powder is pre-pressed to a powder blank.
  • the pre-pressed powder blanks have the advantage over loose powder that there can be no mixing of the powder and that the powder blanks are easier to further process and transport and can be arranged side by side without the need for a mold. Furthermore, the powder blanks offer the advantage that they can be pre-pressed in consistent quality and high quantities, without there being inhomogeneous fillings of the molds, as in bulk fillings, which can then lead to the fact that the pressed powder element is not the same during compression Quality.
