Definitions

  • the invention relates to a chair with a seat and at least one pivotable about an approximately upright pivot axis foot part, wherein the axis of rotation of the foot part is arranged in the region around a front seat and viewed in at least one view has an inclination to the vertical.
  • Such a chair is basically known. So will in the DE 200 04 000 describes an armchair having a located in the front seat center of rotation axis. This solution is obvious, but above all has the disadvantage that the height level between the seat and foot in the functional position remains too large. In addition, the pivoting by 180 ° requires a rather complex control mechanism, and is increased impractical at a greater length of the foot due to the central axis of rotation of the laterally required pivot.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a chair of the type mentioned, which advantageously reduces a height level between the seat and foot in a swiveled end position to an ergonomically favorable level.
  • the axis of rotation seen in the front view has a significant inclination to the vertical, that this inclination of a seat edge extends downwardly inside, and that the foot part extends in an initial position obliquely from the seat edge to a floor.
  • mirror-symmetrically two such foot parts are attached to a sofa.
  • their axes of rotation are each on the side of the armrests. Due to the oblique position of the axes of rotation according to the invention in the front view, it is even possible that the foot parts do not abut one another in the middle during individual pivoting. Rather, the moving foot can immediately dip down obliquely and thus run on a different altitude track than the dormant.
  • the seat is rigidly arranged.
  • a relatively movable to the seat in particular rotatable about a transverse axis backrest is provided, and there is a linkage, which forms an operative connection between the foot part and the backrest.
  • the invention thus forms the rigid and thus immovable relative to a ground seat a kind of counter-supports for the person sitting on the chair person, if this leans back for a displacement of the backrest.
  • the seat longitudinally displaceable on a base frame and yet a relative mobility between the backrest and the seat. This makes it possible to achieve an ergonomically favorable extension of the seat with a backrest displaced to the rear and a foot part swiveled out to the front.
  • a rearwardly displaced position of the backrest and a forward pivoted position of the foot form functional positions within the meaning of the disclosure of the invention.
  • the operation of the foot by a simple grip zone or it is done by an additional control panel, such as a lever or a movable armrest. This can be particularly advantageous in the sofa area.
  • the hinge of the foot part is housed in a substantial part in an armrest of the chair. In this way, a long and stable storage of the foot without ergonomic or design disadvantages is possible.
  • a further embodiment of the invention is also the articulation of the axis of rotation in an armrest of the chair.
  • it is formed by a seated on the axis of rotation angle lever and a control rod which extends in the armrest of this angle lever to the backrest.
  • the pivot point on the backrest has a distance from the hinge of the backrest, which is a multiple, about four to six times the lever length of the angle lever. This creates a simple, robust and injury-hazardous transmission.
  • the underside of the seat on an S-shape This allows a more comfortable training of the seat.
  • the articulation is associated with a return spring to exert a restoring force in the direction of a starting position on the foot part and the backrest. This ensures that both the backrest and the footboard are moved back to their original position as soon as the person sitting on the chair gets up and moves away from the chair. Thus, the foot is pivoted back to its rest position under the seat. At the same time the backrest is moved back to its steep starting position.
  • force-limited effective support means are provided to hold the backrest and the foot part in their initial position.
  • This configuration ensures that a person sitting on the chair does not cause a simple swinging of the footrest and a Nachhintenverlagern the backrest by simple, easy leaning on the backrest, but these functions are activated only when the person aware of a greater force on the backrest exercises.
  • a force-limited effective support means in particular magnetic elements, non-positive and / or positive, mechanically effective braking or blocking elements or similar means may be provided.
  • the support means cause only the application of an increased level of force for a person sitting on the chair in a movement of the backrest from the steep starting position in the displaced backward functional position. In a renewed return to the starting position, however, the support means are preferably not effective.
  • At least one drive unit is provided to displace the foot part and / or the backrest between the starting position and a functional position.
  • the drive unit may be an electric linear motor, a differently designed electric drive unit, a pneumatic or hydraulic drive unit or a mechanical spring motor.
  • the articulation is associated with a return spring in order to exert a restoring force in the direction of a starting position on the foot part and the backrest.
  • force-limited effective support means are provided to hold the backrest and the foot part in its initial position.
  • At least one drive unit is provided in order to displace the foot part and / or the backrest between the initial position and a functional position.
  • An inventive chair according to Fig.1 has a pivotable about an approximately upright axis 1 foot 2.
  • about upright is meant that the axis of rotation 1 is oriented vertically rather than horizontally. This means that the axis of rotation is inclined between 0 ° and a maximum of 45 ° to the vertical. This also includes corresponding inclinations.
  • the axis of rotation 1 according to Figure 3 arranged in the area of a front seating area 3.
  • Fig.1 now shows the axis of rotation 1 in the front view ( Fig.1 ) a clear inclination 4 to the vertical 5.
  • their angle is 15 ° to 30 °.
  • This inclination 4 is in particular stronger than a known per se, in the side view ( Figure 6 ) existing inclination 6.
  • the foot part 2 can be arranged in the initial position obliquely extending from the seat edge 7 to the ground, although it pivots only 90 °. Nevertheless, it ends up in a straight end position seen from the front ( Figure 5 ).
  • the backrest 13 which is mounted on the seat so as to be pivotable about a transverse axis 12, moves about 20 ° to 30 ° backwards, while the foot part 2 pivots outwards by 90 ° as seen from above. It consists on the pivot 14 of the foot part 2, a linkage with angle lever 15, a control rod 16 and a pivot point 17 on the backrest 13 above the transverse axis 12.
  • the pivot 14 of the foot part 2 and essential parts of the linkage 15, 16 are hidden in the Armrest 11 housed.
  • Fig.6 and Fig.7 a basic version of the chair is shown without armrests. Again, the seat 8 is rigid and the backrest 13 by means of a hinge 18 rotatably suspended therefrom.
  • the control rod 19 extends here from a pivot point 20 on the upper side of the foot part 2 to a Anlenkhorn 21 below the pivot joint 18 of the backrest.
  • the lever arm of the articulation point on the backrest 13 is a multiple of the same at the foot part 2.
  • Fig.2 it is shown how mirror-symmetrically two foot parts 22 are attached to a sofa.
  • the foot parts 22 extend as the armchair obliquely from the seat edge to the ground and can pass by the inventive inclination of the rotation axis 23 in the middle 24 to each other.
  • each pivot 25 and linkage 26 are advantageously housed in the armrests 27.
  • the axes of rotation of the foot parts may, however, also be mirror-symmetrical in the middle of the sofa.
  • the structural accommodation of the swivel joints is then more expensive, but the foot parts can pass each other even with simultaneous operation.
  • a seating after the Fig. 8 and 9 In terms of its essential structure and its essential functions corresponds to the embodiments described above. Also the seating after the Fig. 8 and 9 represents a upholstered furniture, in which for reasons of clarity, only the support structure is shown without padding or seat suspension. Functionally identical parts are provided with the same reference numerals as in the previously described embodiments, but with the addition of the letter "c".
  • the details described below of the embodiment according to the Fig. 8 and 9 can be synonymous with the previously using the Fig. 1 to 7 described embodiments, optionally in accordance with adapted modification, are used.
  • the chair is after the Fig.
  • the chair 8 and 9 provided with a seat 8c, which is rotatably mounted about a perpendicular to a substrate and thus preferably vertical axis of rotation.
  • the chair is associated with an unspecified, flat base, which rests on the ground.
  • a vertical support foot 33 is arranged, on which the seat 8c is mounted rotatably.
  • the support foot 33 represents a one-column foot, so that the seat 8c is supported exclusively on this single support leg 33.
  • the seat 8 c has a seat frame 34 to 36, which comprises two lateral seat longitudinal struts 34. These are connected to one another by a seat front strut 35 arranged on the front side on the seat 8c and by a support crosspiece 36.
  • the support rail 36 extends at the level of the support foot 33 between the seat longitudinal struts 34 and is rotatably connected to a rotatable in the support leg 33 shaft part.
  • the Tragtraverse provides a torsion tube with respect to the cross sections of the seat longitudinal struts 34 enlarged cross section.
  • the support rail 36 Seen in a front view, the support rail 36 V- or U-like curved or angled, so that the distance of the support rail 36 at the level serving as a metatarsal support leg 33 to a seat cushion surface, not shown, is substantially greater than the distance of the support rail 36 to this seat cushion surface at the connecting areas with the seat longitudinal struts 34. This concave curvature or bend allows an increased height for the accommodation of a seat suspension for the padded seat.
  • the cross-section of the seat front strut 35 which extends transversely between the seat longitudinal struts 34, is substantially flatter and smaller than the seat longitudinal struts 34. This allows for a relatively narrow and wedge-like seat padding at the front of the seat 8c, whereby this extremely low-step transition between the foot part 2c and the seat 8c in the in Fig. 8 shown functional position of the foot part 2c is reached, based on the provided with the padding, finished armchair.
  • the backrest 13c has a tubular frame 32 which is pivotally or tiltably hinged to the seat 8c about a transverse to the axis of rotation of the seat 8c extending and thus in particular horizontal pivot axis S.
  • 32 ball joints 37 are provided for pivotal mounting about the pivot axis S, which are designed releasably in the region of the lower outer sides of the tubular frame. This makes it possible to remove the backrest 13c from the seat 8c as needed.
  • the foot part 2c is pivotably articulated to the seat 8c at a pivot 14c.
  • the swivel joint 14c is fastened directly to a front side of the right seat longitudinal strut 34 of the seat frame 8c, seen in the normal sitting direction.
  • the foot part 2c is supported by a support tube 30 fixed directly to a ball portion of the pivot 14c and extending diagonally below the surface of the foot part 2c.
  • the support tube 30 is at an obtuse angle, ie an angle greater than 90 °, oriented relative to the axis of rotation of the rotary joint 14c in order to adjust the inclination of the foot part 2c in the starting position resting under the seat 8c (FIG. Fig. 9 ) to effect.
  • a frame box 31 made of metal or wood is formed in the illustrated embodiment, which is provided in the finished armchair with a corresponding padding and a corresponding reference.
  • the rotational movement of the foot part 2c is coupled to a displacement movement of the backrest 13c.
  • a coupling device 15c to 17c also referred to as articulation.
  • the coupling device has a radially projecting from the axis of rotation of the rotary joint 14c and with the foot part 2c rotatable rudder horn 15c on which the control rod 16c is articulated.
  • the control rod 16 c extends within an armrest 11 c, not shown, to the rear to the backrest 13 c and is articulated there in the region of a hinge point 17 c with the tubular frame 32.
  • Both the front pivot point in the region of the rudder horn 15c and the rear pivot point 17c are each formed by a ball joint, which is provided with the reference numeral 38 in the region of the rudder horn 15c.
  • Both ball joints are designed as releasable locking joints, so that the control rod 16c can be easily removed from the tubular frame of the backrest 13c and / or the rudder horn 15c of the rotary joint.
  • the length of the control rod 16c is limited changeable.
  • the control rod 16c is in two parts and the two parts are connected to each other via an adjusting screw 43. This makes it possible to compensate for tolerances between the individual components.
  • a return unit which comprises a return spring 40 designed as a helical tension spring.
  • the return spring 40 is held in the region of its front end face at the level of the pivot joint 14c. In the region of its rear end, this is mounted on a return lever 39 which is hinged to the control rod 16c.
  • the return spring 40 preferably extends parallel or at a slight acute angle relative to the control rod 16c in order to be able to build up a relatively large return component acting on the control rod 16c.
  • the reset lever 39 is displaceable with its free end in a fixed to the seat frame guide receptacle in which a latching stop 41 is provided for a latching receptacle 42 of the reset lever 39.
  • the guide receptacle is rigidly arranged on the right seat longitudinal strut 34.
  • the latching recess 42 is designed to be open, so that the reset lever 39 can be removed in a simple manner in one direction from the latching stopper 41, whereas the latching recess 42 comes into positive engagement with the latching stopper 41 in the opposite direction.
  • the shape of the latching recess 42 and a corresponding corresponding, not shown here may be formed so that for a removal of the reset lever 39 from the latched starting position according to Fig. 9 a quasi dead center must be overcome so that the locking recess 42 is released from the latching stopper 41.
  • the combination of latching stopper 41 and locking recess 42 additionally serves as a support means in the context of the invention, to a certain retention of To achieve backrest 13c in the upright starting position. This support can be lifted only by increased force of a person sitting on the chair.
  • the latching recess 42 and the latching stop 41 thus form in addition to the limitation of the mobility of the backrest 13c forward a force-limited support means for a certain, force-dependent securing the backrest 13c in a movement from the starting position to the rear.
  • the backrest 13c moves from the starting position after Fig. 9 to the rear, by pivoting about the pivot axis S to the rear.
  • the control rod 16c also pulls the rudder horn 15c backwards, as a result of which the corresponding lever ratios inevitably move the foot part 2c out of the starting position located under the seat 8c into the functional position Fig. 8 swivel forward.
  • the foot part 2c in accordance with its functional position Fig. 8 arrived.
  • the rudder horn 15c has also rotated by 90 °.
