Definitions

  • the invention relates to a casting ring for enclosing a stem of a plant, a tree or the like, consisting of an at least vertically extending circumferential wall portion with a lower, at least on a portion of its circumference in the soil insertable edge.
  • Cast rings which consist of a cylindrically shaped circumferential wall part, are commonly used in new plantings as a replacement for a piled up around the trunk of a newly planted tree surrounding earthen wall.
  • the casting rings are inserted with the lower edge into the soil so that they enclose the relevant trunk.
  • a lateral unintended drainage of irrigation water is to be prevented.
  • a disadvantage of known casting rings proves that despite the casting ring a not incurable amount of irrigation water does not reach the tree to be watered. Also, in the area surrounding the casting ring growing weed water and nutrients is consumed, which is the plant newly planted also no longer available.
  • the object of the invention is to avoid the abovementioned disadvantages and to provide a casting ring, the lower loss of the amount of abandoned pourable medium, such as. As water has.
  • the cover can close or cover the area over the entire surface.
  • an opening for example, a cutout can be provided in the cover element, through which the medium can be introduced.
  • the cover can also have a variety number, in particular very small, openings, as well as this prevents light from entering and evaporation, but at least reduced. Also other designs of the openings, z. B. as slots, are quite possible.

  • At least one subregion of the wall part can not be formed vertically but at an angle to the vertical.
  • Such a formation causes the casting ring to tend to move from the expanded position, in which it is guided around the trunk of the plant to be enveloped, to the mounted position in which the casting ring is closed.
  • the casting ring can be seen over the circumference of at least two mutually fixable, in particular by insertion into one another fixable, ring part elements. • the cake piece-shaped cover element subareas 6 are aligned obliquely downwards in the direction of the trunk towards the ground. • the casting ring 1 has a protruding latching region 11 at the one end of the wall part 2 and a corresponding recess 12 at the other end of the wall part 2. This allows easy installation as well as a simple subsequent disassembly. Of course, other closing mechanisms are possible.
  • At least one receiving chamber 13 is provided for receiving fertilizer.
  • This has slots 14 through which the fertilizer can be washed from the irrigation water in dependence on the filling level of the casting water located in the casting ring 1.
