Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of snow sliding sports, such as downhill skiing or surfing. More specifically, it relates to a board for gliding on snow, as well as a game of at least two such boards sliding on snow.
  • a snow-sliding board has an internal structure which defines its mechanical behavior and which comprises a longitudinal core, as well as one or more reinforcements, for example a lower reinforcement and an upper reinforcement disposed on either side of this core.
  • the internal structure of the gliding board is protected by being covered.
  • its underside and its top are respectively coated with a gliding sole and a protective upper layer, which is apparent and generally decorative.
  • this upper protective layer consists of an outer skin or film, which is of a single material or which has the form of a multi-material complex.
  • the upper reinforcement of the internal structure extends against this outer skin, whose shape then determines hers.
  • the external appearance of the top of the gliding board and, in particular, its shape are often chosen according to aesthetic considerations.
  • This form of the top of the gliding board determines that of the outer skin of the upper layer of protection. Most often, as explained in the foregoing, the shape of this outer skin in turn determines that of the upper reinforcement.
  • the constituent material of the insert may be a rubber. Indeed, it is chosen to facilitate the gripping of the gliding board.
  • this gliding board has corrugations for the engagement of the fingers of one hand, at the level of the insert, which has a constant thickness substantially equal to that of the upper protective layer.
  • a window cut in an upper layer of ski protection is closed by a plastic insert. Beyond the edge of the window, this plastic part passes below the upper protective layer and forms a bead in relief towards the inside of the ski.
  • an alpine ski board the top of which is defined in particular by a protective skin pierced with two cutouts.
  • a sandwich structure which includes a reinforcement and whose essential function is to significantly affect the mechanical behavior of the gliding board.
  • the reinforcement of this sandwich structure extends against an outer protective skin which follows the profile.
  • each sandwich structure reported from the board described in FR-2,540,391 is such that its method of manufacture is the same type as that of a snow board complete snow and therefore has the disadvantages, particularly in terms of complexity and possible limited forms.
  • the invention aims at least to facilitate a modification of the external appearance of the top of a gliding board and, more specifically, the shape of such a top.
  • this object is achieved by means of a gliding board on snow, comprising at least edges and a baseplate constituting a lower assembly, an internal structural structuring beam and an upper protective layer which partially covers said beam. internal without significantly affecting the mechanical behavior defined by this internal beam, and which includes an apparent skin pierced with a cut.
  • This gliding board is characterized in that its upper protective layer comprises at least one apparent decorative element in volume which forms a projection protruding above said skin, being fixed in said cutout so as to close this cut and to be flush with the lower face of said skin, at least this skin and the volume decorative element together defining an apparent surface in volume of the gliding board.
  • the shape of the top of the gliding board defined above can be easily modified, without changing the definition of the internal beam and therefore without significant change in the behavior of the gliding board, especially by replacing at least the decorative element in volume of the upper layer of protection by another of different shape.
  • an upper face of the internal mechanical structuring beam comprises a portion which has a predefined shape and above which is located said cutout, the volume decorative element comprising a lower face substantially complementary to said predefined shape.
  • this predefined shape has a cross section that is substantially rectilinear. It may further comprise a longitudinal section also substantially rectilinear, so as to be substantially flat.
  • the mechanical structuring beam comprises at least one core, and an upper reinforcement which, at least to the right of the decorative element in volume, extends substantially in said predefined shape.
  • this volume decorative element it may have a maximum thickness which is at least equal to three times the thickness of said skin.
  • the volume decorative element delimits a recessed housing for receiving an insert.
  • the latter may be a decorative mask permanently attached or interchangeable, the visual appearance may be that of the skin and / or customize the gliding board.
  • the volume decorative element defines means for retaining an insert.
  • retaining means may include an undercut angle which may be at an overhang intended to extend over a latching lug or an equivalent portion of the insert.
  • the snow sliding board carries equipment whose volume decorative element envelops at least a portion. In this way can be realized a connection participating in a harmonious integration of this equipment on the gliding board.
  • the volume decorative element is overmolded on at least a portion of said equipment, which may include a support plate for a securing attachment of a shoe, such as a ski boot or a surf boot.
  • the cutout may have a closed outline on itself, which is complementary to a contour of the decorative element.
  • This cut can also extend over the entire width of the gliding board and have an open contour, which is complementary to a contour of the decorative element.
  • the decorative element fits substantially without play in the cut so that its lower face can be flush with respect to the lower face of the skin constituting the upper protective layer, that is to say, be substantially at the same depth as the underside of this skin so as to prolong it, without extra thickness or other discontinuity.
  • the volume decorative element is an injection molded part.
  • Such a piece is of low manufacturing cost, while being able to present complex shapes.
  • the decorative element may have undercut angles and / or threads obtained during molding and not by subsequent machining. It can also benefit from other possibilities offered by the technique of injection.

  • the upper face 13 of the decorative element 6 delimits a recessed housing 14 for receiving the decorative plate 11.
  • the part 6 also delimits two latching holes 15 which are part of the mounting means of the connecting piece 12 and which are arranged symmetrically with respect to a plane of symmetry P extending along the length of the ski board 1.
  • Each engaging hole 15 is provided for the insertion of a mounting lug of the connecting piece 12 and opens into an edge of the recessed housing 14, so as to be bordered upwards by an overhanging portion which is intended to retain this mounting lug, referenced 16 to the figure 2 , and which has for this purpose a counter-discharge angle.
  • the decorative plate 11 is fixed on the bottom of the hollow housing 14, for example by being glued. Its rear portion is further retained between the decorative element 6 and the connecting piece 12, the holding in place is the fact of the insertion of the mounting lugs 16 in the holes 15 and also ribs referenced 17 to the figure 2 . These ribs 17 are intended to be trapped under the plate 2, which is the case at the figure 1 .
  • the decorative element 6 and the connecting piece 12 envelop the front portion of an edge of the plate 2, so as to protect the front of this plate 2 and to achieve a harmonious connection between the skin 7 and said plate 2 for an aesthetic integration of this plate 2.
  • the decorative element 6 can also be used for the harmonious integration of a part other than the plate 2.
  • the upper protective layer 5 is part of an outer envelope, an example of which is proposed at the figure 4 and that surrounds and protects an internal structure of the ski board 1.
  • this outer envelope comprises two songs or left and right longitudinal walls 18. It also comprises a lower sliding sole 19 and two left and right edges 20, which border this sole 19 and each of which is surmounted by one of the songs 18.
  • an internal beam 21 which is a structural element in that it defines at least essentially the mechanical behavior of the ski board 1 and which, for this purpose, includes one or more reinforcements.
  • the reinforcements of the inner beam 21 are two in number. It is a lower reinforcement 22 and an upper reinforcement 23, each of which has a substantially straight cross section.
  • Each of the reinforcements 22 and 23 of the inner beam 21 comprises a cured matrix and a reinforcing fiber structure intertwined in this cured matrix, which may in particular be a polymerized resin.
  • Each of the reinforcements 22 and 23 extends to a level lower than the skin 7, remaining below the cutout 8.
  • the inner beam 21 also comprises a core 24 which fills a space separating the reinforcements 22 and 23 from each other and which may in particular be made of expanded polyurethane foam or else of wood or any other suitable material.
  • the ski board 1 can be produced in various ways, for example by implementing one of the conventional methods of manufacturing a board for gliding on snow in a mold, hot.
  • this board 1 is an injected core type board
  • the foam of its core 24 expands between the reinforcements 22 and 23 and, in doing so, applies the lower reinforcement 22 against the sole 19 and the upper reinforcement 23 against the upper protective layer 5 and against a sealing film 25, which extends at least on either side of the line of junction between the decorative element 6 and the skin 7, in order to prevent any leakage of resin or polyurethane foam.
  • the upper reinforcement 23 and the upper face 26 of the inner beam 21 have a predefined shape, which is substantially complementary to that of the lower face 27 of the upper protective layer 5 and whose cross section is substantially straight.
  • the board 1 may also be of the injected coreless sandwich type, in which case the application of its different components against each other results from their clamping between the lower and upper mold parts, when closing the mold.
  • the mold in which the board 1 is made can be simplified by incorporating the decorative element 6. More specifically, its footprint comprises a reservation which is intended to receive the emerging portion of the decorative element 6 and which may have a shape much simpler than this decorative element 6 to the extent that the latter already has its final shape resulting for example from its injection molding.
  • the decorative element 6 has two pierced positioning ears 6A. When placed in the mold, it is manipulated by being held by its ears 6A, which then facilitate its precise positioning and which are dissociated from the board 1 after molding.
  • the decorative element 6 closes the cutout 8, where it is fixed so as to form a protrusion protruding above the skin 7.
  • the top 4 of the skiboard 1 may have a shape in volume, with one or more projections and / or one or more recesses, and have a non-rectilinear cross section, even when the upper reinforcement 23 has a rectilinear cross section.
  • the top 4 and the upper reinforcement 23 may have different cross sections and, more generally, different shapes.
  • the shape of the upper face 26 of the inner beam 21 and that of the upper reinforcement 23 can be chosen according to essentially technical considerations in relation to the mechanical behavior desired for the ski board 1, by not taking or that little account of the shape chosen for the top 4 of this plate 1.
  • the shape of this top 4 is mainly determined by the decorative element 6 of the upper layer 5, whose main function is to protect the internal beam 21 without significantly affecting the behavior ski board mechanics 1.
  • One way of taking advantage of which is set forth in the preceding paragraph is to design low cost two or more ranges of boards 1 and produce these two ranges whose boards 1 have substantially the same internal beam 21 but not the same top layer of protection 5, so as to differ from each other by different shapes of their respective tops 4.
  • the boards 1 of one of the two ranges and the boards 1 of the other range have substantially the same behavior on snow while may have very different aspects.
  • Increasing the number of ranges of boards 1 by proceeding in this way has the advantage of generating only a small additional cost.
