Abstract

L'invention concerne un coupe-circuit de surtension de type cage. Son procédé de production consiste à réaliser un boîtier externe (5) par enrobage par extrusion ou par moulage d'un module composé de deux garnitures terminales (3), d'une pluralité de blocs à varistance (1), d'au moins un élément de renfort (9) et d'une première série de trous traversants (11) destinés à l'élément de renfort (9), puis à étanchéifier le boîtier par coulage ou pulvérisation de silicone par une deuxième série de trous traversants réalisés dans les garnitures terminales (3), le silicone pénétrant de l'extérieur dans ces trous traversants (11) pour sceller le boîtier contre l'eau ou l'humidité.
