Definitions
- the invention relates to a tool for stitch formation in a knitting machine or a knitting machine and a method for producing knitted fabric.
- a knitting method uses two groups of perpendicular boards.
- Each board consists of a particular thin at its end sheet with a frontal indentation and a lateral curvature.
- the notch is designed to carry a stitch.
- the assigned in the Angle to the current board standing other board can take stitches.
- the DE 12 41 030 a stitch forming method with two movably mounted parallel bars, on each of which hole needles are mounted.
- the perforated needles have thread openings in the form of an eyelet with a closed edge.
- the thread is permanently caught in the hole needle, which requires a special stitching technique.
- Left-and-left knitwear is knitwear in which left-hand rows of stitches optically dominate on both sides of the knit in the relaxed state.
- Left rows of stitches are courses in which the mesh feet lie in front of the mesh heads of the underlying row of stitches.
- right rows of stitches are rows of stitches in which the stitch heads of the row of stitches in question lie in front of the feet of the subsequent row of stitches.
- the knitting method according to the invention comes with knitting tools that have resilient parts or sections, but otherwise no moving parts.
- the susceptibility to wear and dirt is reduced and the production costs are reduced.
- the thread can be inserted into the unclosable recess of the knitting tools in a simple manner.
- the yarn inserted in a knitting tool is pushed through the stitch loop, which is held by an opposing tool.
- This tool can be formed as well as the considered knitting tool and is preferably oriented transversely to this.
- the process according to the invention is used for the production of left-to-left knitwear, which is characterized Characterized is that left and right courses alternate.
- the method according to the invention can be used in the knitting technique or in the knitting technique.
- the knitting tools divided into two groups are moved synchronously in groups.
- the knitting tools of a group are preferably arranged next to each other equidistantly.
- the knitting tools of one group are at an angle to the effect tools of the other group. With a stroke, the knitting tools held on a bar, for example, form a complete row of stitches.
- the knitting tools are formed in at least one group, e.g. moved asynchronously in the manner of a longitudinally passing through the group shaft.
- the knitting tool according to the invention is suitable for both methods.
- the knitting tools of one group stand at an angle to the knitting tools of the other group.
- left-to-left knitwear is otherwise made on flat knitting machines with latch needles or slider needles.
- the knit fabric is transferred to the needle of the opposing needle bed after each course of stitches via a transfer process. During this transfer operation, it is not possible to form a loop with the knitting tools involved in the hanging process, which limits productivity.
- two courses are formed at each cycle. Thus, a significant increase in productivity in the production of left-left knit fabric is brought about.
- FIG. 1 illustrates a knitting tool 1, such as Fig. 2 shows an elongated, for example, formed of flat material body 2, which terminates at the bottom in a preferably straight narrow edge 3.
- a knitting tool 1 such as Fig. 2 shows an elongated, for example, formed of flat material body 2, which terminates at the bottom in a preferably straight narrow edge 3.
- On the opposite (upper) side of the body 2 also has an edge 4, from which a foot 5 projects away.
- the foot 5 serves to drive the knitting tool 1, for example by a lock of a knitting machine. It can serve in the present or a modified form, but also for fixing the knitting tool 1 on the bar of a knitting machine.
- the foot may be replaced by another coupling or fastening means.
- the knitting tool 1 has the in Fig. 1 separately illustrated stitch forming part, wherein Fig. 1 also makes it clear that the knitting tool 1 consists of two preferably mutually mirror-symmetrical and arranged parts 1a, 1b. These are each formed as flat planar parts, which are initially bent away from each other at their ends and then bent back to each other to define a piercing opening 7.
- the parts 1a, 1b together form a tip 8 at their tips 8a, 8b.
- the tips 8a can resiliently abut one another or also delimit a slight gap with one another.
- the parts 1a, 1b may be separately manufactured loosely adjacent parts. They can also be connected to each other or formed as sections of one and the same part.
- the knitting tool 1 has a recess 9 for receiving stitches.
- This recess 9 opens obliquely to the edge 4 or the edge 3 and is always open. There are no means for closing this recess 9 are provided.
- the open recess 9 is formed like a jaw and is in the direction of movement through a mesh support shoulder or thread support shoulder 10 limited.
- the mesh support shoulder 10 is approximately transverse to the edge 3 and 4.
- the recess 9 and the mesh support shoulder 10 are like Fig. 1 is formed by corresponding recesses 9a, 9b and mesh support shoulders 10a, 10b and the edges 11a, 11b of the two parts 1a, 1b.
- the knitting tool 1 is described in its essential features.
- it may have further details.
- the edges 3, 4 may be slightly rounded.
- the approximately funnel-shaped recess 9 can be formed corner and edgeless.
- the edge 4 goes over a curve in the recess 9, which ends rounded at the top 8.
- the edge limiting the recess 9 may be rounded in the transverse direction, so that a recorded thread does not touch a sharp edge.
- the opening direction is in Fig. 2 marked by an arrow 12.
- a further advantageous but optional detail lies in a thread receiving groove 13, which extends from the mesh support shoulder 10 on the outside of the knitting tool 1.
- the part 1a has a thread receiving groove 13a, while a thread receiving groove 13b is provided in the part 1b.
- This thread receiving grooves allow the reduction of the distance between adjacent knitting tools 1 and thus the protection of the thread. They can, as shown, be formed as a straight, strip-shaped or as widening away from the yarn support shoulder 10 groove. In the exemplary embodiment, it extends parallel to the edge 3, but depending on the direction of the stitch hanging later on the knitting tool 1, it may also have another direction.
- a further recess 14 (14a) interrupting the edge 3 can be provided, which is arranged obliquely below the recess 9. It allows the formation of very small mesh.
- the thread take-up groove 13 is also helpful in the knitting operation to make room for a thread which is applied to the outside of the knitting tool during stitching when the knitting tool passes through the piercing opening 7 of another knitting tool.
- a further thread receiving groove 15 (15a) may be provided. This extends in the piercing direction. If the knitting tools assigned to one another are arranged at right angles to one another, the thread receiving groove 15, 15a is preferably oriented approximately at right angles to the edge 3.
- the thread receiving groove 15 may, as shown, be rounded or trapezoidal or flattened or otherwise formed.
- the knitting tool 1 can be formed in one, two or more parts. It may be formed as a stamped part, in which both parts 1a, 1b were formed by means of bending. If the knitting tool 1 is made of several parts, they can be detachably or non-detachably connected to each other. For this purpose, all suitable connection technologies can be used, such as gluing, welding, caulking, embossing, soldering, etc. It is also possible, the two parts 1a, 1b unconnected to arrange together in a channel of a tool carrier. Because the foot is formed at the same position of the parts 1a, 1b, they are reciprocated together in the longitudinal direction. Instead of the foot 5, any other coupling agent can be used.
- FIGS. 8a to 8e illustrate in a schematic way the course of the stitch formation using knitting tools that correspond to the knitting tool 1.
- the knitting tools are divided into two groups A, B.
- Each group A, B each comprises a defined number of knitting tools of the same kind, which are moved synchronously or asynchronously in the manner of a continuous wave.
- each knitting tools SA, SB which correspond to the knitting tool 1. They are arranged in beds 16, 17 and are moved by suitable means, for example a knitting lock forward and backward, ie in each case parallel to its edge 3.
- the directions of movement are how Fig. 8a shows how the orientations of the knitting tools SA, SB, substantially perpendicular to each other.
- the bed 16 may, for example, illustrate the dial of a circular knitting machine, while the bed 17 may, for example, illustrate the knitting cylinder of a circular knitting machine.
- FIG Fig. 8 The process of creating left-to-left knitwear as illustrated in FIG Fig. 8 is shown.
- the left-and-left knitwear one left-hand row of stitches 19 and one right-hand row of stitches 18 follow each other.
- the heads 22 are behind the loop legs 21 of the following row.
- the heads 20 of the stitches are located in front of the legs of the subsequent course of stitches 19th
- the knitting tools SA, SB are arranged in the middle of each other, i. they are in a common plane.
- the tip of each knitting tool SA, SB can thus pierce each through the piercing opening 7 of the other knitting tool.
- the stitch formation is as follows:
- Fig. 8a It is from Fig. 8a went out.
- the two legs of the knitting tool SA are pierced into the piercing opening 7 between the two legs of the knitting tool SB of the other group.
- the knitting tool SB carries a half-stitch 23 to which the fabric 24 hangs. This is subtracted between the two beds 16, 17.
- the knitting tool SA punctures a half stitch 25 received by its receiving space through the half stitch 23.
- the next step is how the transition to Fig. 8b shows, the knitting tool SB withdrawn while the knitting tool SA remains expelled. As a result, the half stitch 23 is transferred to the knitting tool SA. The half-stitch 23 now lies on the shaft 2 of the knitting tool SA. Upon withdrawal of the knitting tool SB, the half stitch 24 which was in FIG. 8a on the shaft or the body 2 of the knitting tool SB, cut off and formed into the loop 24. It forms a new stitch of a course.
- thread 26 is inserted into the recess 9 of the knitting tool SB. This process is also called filament laying.
- the thread 26 is detected during the subsequent expulsion of the mesh element SB and pushed as a half-stitch 27 through the held by the knitting tool SA half-stitch 25. This shows Fig. 8c ,
- the knitting tool SA is retracted to the rear reversing position.
- the thread loop or half stitch 25 is placed over the thread loop or stitches 27 and the shaft 2 of the knitting tool SB.
- the half-stitch 23 previously lying around the shaft 2 of the knitting tool SA is cut off and forms a new stitch 23 of a row of stitches.
- a movement cycle in each case includes the expulsion and retraction of both knitting tools SA, SB.
- two courses are created during a cycle of movement. It is a right and a left course.
- the knitting tool SA is expelled again, wherein the submitted yarn 29 detected and how Fig. 8e shows, as a half-stitch 30 is pierced by the half-stitch 27.
- Fig. 9 is so-called right-left knitwear illustrated. It consists of rows of stitches of a uniform type, so that on one side of the knitted fabric only right-hand rows of stitches and on the other knit-side only left-hand rows of stitches appear.
- the knitting process for producing such goods with the knitting tools according to the invention and the knitting method according to the invention is in the FIGS. 9a to 9e illustrated. Unless otherwise stated, the previous statements apply accordingly.
- Fig. 9a illustrates the starting position.
- the knitting tool SB is in the ejection position and holds the knit 24.
- the last formed half stitch 27 is located in the recess 9 of the knitting tool SB.
- the knitting tool SA is in its rear reversing position.
- the yarn 29 is presented.
- the next step is how Fig. 9b shows, the knitting tool SA expelled, so that both knitting tools SA, SB in their Exiting position stand.
- the knitting tool SA has detected in its ejection movement the yarn 29 and formed by the knitting tool SB and held by this thread loop or half-stitch 27 through to a new thread loop 30.
- Fig. 9c shows the knitting tool SB withdrawn and the half stitch 27 transferred to the shaft 2 of the knitting tool SA also holds the half-stitch 30.
- FIG. 10 illustrates left-right knitwear.
- the FIGS. 10a to 10e reveal how to knit with the knitting tools of the invention according to the method of this invention.
- the process starts in the state according to Fig. 10a with expelled knitting tool SA and withdrawn knitting tool SB.
- the thread 26 is presented, while the knitting tool SA carries a half-stitch 28.
- the knitting tool SB is expelled and thus stung by the knitting tool SA and thus by the half-stitch or the thread loop 28, such as Fig. 10b shows.
- the half-stitch 28 is transferred to the shaft of the knitting tool SB and placed around the half stitch 27 formed from the thread 26.
- This half-stitch 27 is in the next step according to Fig. 10d transferred to the knitting tool SA by this expelled and thus stung by the knitting tool SB and the half-stitch 27.
- the half-stitch 27 is formed by the recess 9 of the knitting tool SA taken while the knitting tool SB, like Fig. 10e is again transferred to the retracted position, wherein the half-stitch 28 is cut off and formed into the loop 24.
- the loop 27 hangs in the recess 9 of the knitting tool SA, and it is the state according to FIG Fig. 10a restored.
- the knitting cycle can start anew.
- FIGS. 11a to 11h and Figs. 12a to 12h illustrate a stitch forming process for making a right-right knit fabric using the stitch forming tools of the present invention.
- the knitting tools perform a tilting motion in addition to their linear reciprocating motion.
- the yarn is alternately taken up and entangled at a point of insertion by a knitting tool SA of the upper and a knitting tool SB of the lower font.
- a left stitch and a right stitch are knitted alternately with the registered yarn.
- the processes according to FIGS. 11a to 11h and 12a to 12h alternately executed.
- Fig. 11a the knit hangs on the knitting tool SA.
- the knitting tool SB a thread is presented, which from the first returning ( Fig. 11b ) and then standing ( Fig. 11c ) Knitting tool SB is added.
- the knitting tool SA With the knitting tool SA is the last formed half-stitch, such as Fig. 11c shows lifted over the knitting tool SB and placed on this ( Fig. 11d ).
- the knitting tool SA can be withdrawn, Fig. 11e , where it transfers the previously held half-stitch on the knitting tool SB.
- the new half-stitch formed by the knitting tool SB when it emerges is taken over by the knitting tool SA, such as Fig.
- the knitting method according to the invention is based on simple knitting tools without means for closing a thread receiving space, which is formed by a simple recess in the form of a mesh support shoulder.
- a simple reciprocating motion of two mutually associated knitting tools which may be arranged approximately at right angles to each other and alternately through each other can be stung through. The recorded thread is thus pushed by the respective other knitting tool worn half-stitch.
- the knitting process is based on simple, robust, low-wear tools. Moreover, in the production of left-to-left knitwear, it allows a significant increase in productivity over conventional machines while reducing the ease of knitting process and knitting tools.
