- Device according to claim 7, characterised in that the electric motor (26) is configured as a torque motor.
- Device according to one of the claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the drive device (26) is drivable under program control according to a curve.
- Device according to claim 11, characterised in that the curve is adjustable.
- Device according to claim 10 or 11, characterised in that the curve is configured phase-adjustable relative to the saddle plates (4) which move upwardly on the conveyor (3).
- Device according to one of the claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the control device (27) is connected to a machine control system of a book block casing machine.
- Device according to anyone of claims 1 to 14, characterised in that a guide sleeve (21) which is connected to the support frame (20) is displaceably mounted on the guide element (22) which is configured as a guide rod, a lead screw nut (25) being fastened to said guide sleeve (21), a lead screw (23) which is connected to a drive shaft (33) of the drive device (26) extending through said lead screw nut (25).
- Device according to claim 1, comprising a drive device (26) configured as a torque motor, characterised in that a lever (29) is fastened to the drive shaft (33) of the drive device (26), said lever (29) being connected via a connecting rod (30) to the support frame (20) of the pressing device (5).
