Damit lässt sich die zur Beleimung eines Buchblocks 3 vorgesehene Drehbewegung der Auftragswalzen 11, 12 nach einer durch den Buchblock 3 resp. einer Buchdecke oder deren Buchdeckel bestimmten Beleimungsstrecke steuern resp. veränderbar steuern. Hierzu kann die Position und/oder Drehbewegung der Auftragswalzen 11, 12 auch manuell eingestellt und verstellt werden. Die Antriebswelle der Dosierwalzen 14, 15, die antriebsseitig den Lagerschild 29 durchsetzt, ist jeweils durch eine Kupplung 34 mit einem in einem auf dem Schlitten 27 befestigten Lagerbock 35 gelagerten Kegelrad 36 verbunden. Das Kegelrad 36 bildet jeweils mit einem zweiten Kegelrad 37, das rechtwinklig zu Kegelrad 36 in einem an dem Lagerbock 35 befestigten Support 38 gelagert ist, ein Winkelgetriebe 39, wobei das zweite Kegelrad 37 auf einer parallel zur Verschiebungsrichtung des Schlittens 37 angeordneten, mit dem Antriebsmotor 24 verbundenen Mehrfachkeilwelle 40 verschiebbar sitzt.
