Definitions
- the invention relates to a device housing for a vacuum cleaner, which is divided in the interior in a motor fan room and in a dust collection chamber, with a lower housing part, an upper housing part and a housing cover, wherein the dust collection space is closed via the housing cover.
- a vacuum cleaner with a multipart device housing, consisting of a lower housing part and a housing upper part known.
- the upper housing part comprises one or more separate cover parts.
- the lower housing part is divided by a partition into a motor fan room and a dust collection room.
- a vacuum cleaner with a multi-part device housing in which a hinged cover hinges on housing cover covers the dust collection chamber for a dust filter bag and a replaceable exhaust air or hygiene filter.
- the housing cover is hinged to the upper housing part, which covers the engine fan room and is flush with the housing top of this area with the lid closed.
- the multi-part structure of the housing is designed such that the lower housing part is formed as a raised to the side walls shell which has a sealed relative to the dust collecting space engine fan room.
- the engine fan room is covered by the upper housing part, on which the housing cover is articulated.
- the housing cover is shaped such that it forms the housing top side and the lateral wall for the dust collection chamber.
- the housing cover is formed with a receiving space for vacuum cleaner accessories, which can be closed by a separate lid.
- the exhaust air of the vacuum cleaner is led out of the engine fan room via an exhaust air filter.
- the exhaust filter is located below the housing cover.
- the housing cover is formed in the area covering the exhaust air filter with exhaust air slots.
- a flat trained housing cover is hinged with a receiving space for vacuum cleaner accessories hinged.
- the part of the housing upper part enclosing the engine fan chamber has a receptacle for an exhaust air filter.
- the on / off button, the controls for the suction power control and the button for cable rewinding are arranged on this housing area.
- the invention thus raises the problem of designing a multi-part stable construction for the device housing of a vacuum cleaner, which is inexpensive to produce in terms of manufacturing, in which the dust collecting space is designed for a maximum possible volume is and in which the negative pressure region in the dust collection chamber is to seal optimal despite the maximum possible bag volume with respect to the engine fan room.
- the achievable with the present invention consist in particular in the design of the individual housing parts, which are manufactured by their optimal demolding directions adapted design as well as the lower part weight and the lower projected area of the items in relatively inexpensive to produce injection molding and injection molding machines.
- Lower material consumption for the individual parts also enables shorter cycle times in injection molding, whereby the parts are overall less expensive to produce. Due to the upwardly and downwardly open, substantially tubular design of the housing insert, it can be demolded downwards and thus offers better, space-saving possibilities for the design of internal ribs and sealing surfaces.
- the housing insert as a separate, free of
- housing surfaces held component formed As a result, a production is possible, which is free of color variants and so facilitates the storage and assembly handling.
- a production is possible, which is free of color variants and so facilitates the storage and assembly handling.
- in such an application on the outside of any rib structure can be formed.
- the housing insert on the outwardly directed surface can be reinforced with a truss-like rib structure.
- a further advantageous embodiment in particular with slightly lower suction powers, is characterized in that the upper housing part is double-walled and that the inner wall forms the housing insert. This creates a simple, easy-to-manufacture construction.
- the upper housing part includes a motor housing area covering, upwardly substantially closed rear housing portion.
- the housing insert Through the downwardly open structure of the housing insert, this can be provided on the inwardly facing surface with inner ribs which extend in the axial direction and the dust collection chamber interior and which are then easily demolded down. Due to the possible demoulding downwards, the housing insert may be bent or angled inwardly in the region of the opening directed towards the housing cover, and the inner fins may lie at least partially below the bent or angled region with respect to their extent directed to the dust collection chamber interior. The bending or bending of the housing insert causes it to nestle very closely against the outer sides of the housing upper part or the cover and therefore the available volume of construction is almost completely used as a dust collecting space. Only because of the demoulding possibility down, d. H. through the bottom opening of the housing insert can be equipped with such an angling or bending and still be provided with ribs.
- Figure 1 shows a first embodiment of a vacuum cleaner 1 with open housing cover 5;
- Figure 2 shows the multi-part device housing 2 of the vacuum cleaner 1 according to Figure 1 as an exploded view
- Figure 3 shows the dust collection chamber 9 of the vacuum cleaner 1 according to Figure 1 with dust bag 12 in the side view in section

- FIG. 9 shows the multipart device housing 201 of the canister vacuum cleaner 101 according to FIG. 8 as an exploded view;
- FIG. 1 shows a vacuum cleaner 1 with a multipart device housing 2.
- the device housing 2 consists essentially of a flat housing lower part 3 with an attached thereto downwardly open housing upper part 4.
- the housing cover 5 is pivotally mounted.
- two hinge arms 6 (see Figure 2) in the rear region of the lid 5;
- the latter covers the engine fan chamber 7 in the closed state (see FIG. 2) and closes off the dust collection chamber 9 (see also FIGS. 3 and 4).
- an exhaust opening 8 is formed for the exhaust air from dem0 Motorgeblaseraum 7, in which an interchangeable exhaust air or hygiene filter 10 can be used.
- the dust collecting space 9 is open at the top and equipped with a receptacle 11 for a dust bag 12.
- the receptacle 11 is pivotally mounted in the dust collecting space 9 and has the same pivoting direction as the housing cover 5.
- the housing cover 5 is provided with an outlet opening 16 (see also FIG. 2) for the filtered exhaust air in the area in which it covers the exhaust opening 8 or the exhaust air or hygiene filter 10.
- the outlet opening 16 may be formed by air slots (not shown) in the housing cover 5 or provided with an insertable ventilation grille 17 which is flush with the surface of the housing cover 5 flush.
- the structural design of the device housing is shown in more detail in an exploded view according to Figure 2 and in the sectional views of Figure 3 (longitudinal section) and Figure 4 (cross section). All housing parts are made by injection molding of plastic.
- the lower housing part 3 is designed as an upwardly open flat receiving tray with a partition 185 which divides the bottom area 7.1 for the motor fan room 7 with respect to the floor area 9.1 for the dust collecting space 9.
- On the underside of the lower housing part 3 rotatable skids 19 are used with rollers 20.
- the lower housing part 3 In assembly with the upper housing part 4, the lower housing part 3 forms the engine fan chamber 7 and the dust collection chamber 9.
- the upper housing part 4 is double-walled in the front part.
- the outer walls 21 form the housing sealing surfaces and the inner walls 22 form a downwardly and upwardly open, substantially tubular housing insert 23, which in turn generates the lateral walls of the dust collecting space 9.
- the inner walls 22 and thus the edge of the lower opening 27 of the housing insert 23 are enclosed by a circumferential seal in the housing bottom, which is preferably designed as a U-profile 25.
- the upper opening 26 of the housing insert 23 is closed by the housing cover 5.
