Definitions
- the invention relates to a dish carrier for dishwashers according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a dish carrier is of document FR-A-2171858 known.
- the invention relates to dish carriers in the form of tapes in commercial tape transport dishwashers used in restaurants, restaurants, canteens and similar facilities.
- Tape transport dishwashers are referred to in English as a flight-type dish washer or flight-type goods washer because they not only wash dishes but also other items used in kitchens and in the eating of food and drinks, such as trays for carrying dishes .
- the dish carrier is in this case a band, usually in the form of a multi-link chain-like band, which has support fingers, between which the dishes or trays can be placed edgewise for transport through the belt transport dishwasher.
- the invention also relates to dish carrier in the form of a basket in which dishes can be adjusted upright and which is designed for use in basket transport scavengers or for use in program machines.
- Korbtransport Congressmaschinen is a transport device, eg. B. a belt or rollers provided, on which the harness carriers are adjustable for transport through the basket transport dishwasher.
- This type of machine is also referred to as a rack-conveyor dish washer or rack-conveyor goods washer and is used commercially in restaurants, restaurants, canteens and similar establishments.
- the invention also relates to program machines which are used commercially, for example in restaurants, restaurants, canteens and similar facilities. They are also referred to as batch dish washer or batch ware washer. These types of dishwashers may be under-counterware washer or top-counterware washer or hood-type ware washer.
- the invention is also suitable for dish carriers for household dishwashers.
- the support surfaces which hold the dishes in the dish carrier in an upright oblique position evenly distributed.
- the utensil having a large height (depth) and a small diameter or small width such as soup plate
- the dish carrier is surmounted by other dishes or trays having a small height (depth) but a larger length or larger width and largely covered and thereby shielded from upper nozzles, which wash water or rinse water splash from top to bottom on the trays and on the dishes.
- the water jets can not impinge directly on the covert dishes, so that this hidden crockery is poorly cleaned or very much water and long washing times are needed.
- Fig. 1 of the drawings attached hereto Such a situation is illustrated in Fig. 1 of the drawings attached hereto.
- the larger angle of flat trays relative to plates also causes unwanted shielding of these trays by the plates against jets of water that are injected from bottom nozzles from bottom to top on the plates and trays.
- Fig. 1 shows a portion of a known dish carrier 2 in the form of an endless conveyor belt of a belt transport dishwasher.
- the dish carrier has a plurality of open-top compartments 22, which are arranged one behind the other in the direction of tape movement and extend transversely thereto.
- the compartments 22 are formed by a plurality of support members 4, which are arranged in a plurality of longitudinal rows in the tape movement direction behind one another and in a plurality of transverse rows at a distance from each other like a chain of links and interconnected.

- the upper support surfaces 10 point in the one longitudinal direction and the lower support surfaces 8 point in the opposite longitudinal direction.
- the tray 14 projects beyond and covers the plate 12, because the tray height 16 is smaller than the plate height 18 and because the width of the tray 14 is greater than the diameter or the Width of the plate 12. As a result, the tray 14 projects beyond the plate 12.
- the problem to be solved is to create a possibility by which all rinsing items (ware) can be cleaned well and with as little rinse water or detergent in a short time, even if the rinse items have different heights and different outer circumference dimensions.
- FIGs 2, 3 and 4 show a portion of a dish carrier 20 in the form of an endless dish conveyor belt of a belt conveyor dishwasher 21, as shown schematically as an example in Figure 5.
- the harness carrier 20 passes over wheels or rollers 23 and transports the items to be washed 12, 14 through at least one, preferably a plurality of cleaning chambers 25 and at least one final rinsing chamber 27th
- the harness carrier 20 has a plurality of compartments 22, which are arranged in a conveyor belt longitudinal direction 24 of the dish support 20 in a row and transverse to this longitudinal direction 24 and open at the top for oblique insertion of the dishes such.
- the compartments 22 are formed by a plurality of support members 14, which are arranged in a plurality of longitudinal rows like a chain of links behind each other and are hinged together and arranged in a plurality of transverse rows at a distance from each other and also connected to each other.
- Each compartment 22 has on the support members 4 for holding the items to be washed 12, 14, seen transversely to a longitudinal direction 24, flush with each other arranged bottom surfaces 6, aligned with each other and extending from the bottom surfaces 6 upwardly, pointing in an opposite longitudinal direction 26 lower support surfaces 8, and aligned upper support surfaces 10 which point in the one longitudinal direction 24 and relative to the lower support surfaces 8 higher and set back by a first opening angle ⁇ 1 in the opposite longitudinal direction 26.
- the opening angle ⁇ 1 is formed by a transverse to the longitudinal directions 24, 26 extending theoretical vertical plane 30 at the lower support surfaces 8 and a theoretical straight first connecting line 32, which latter from the angle vertex on the lower support surfaces 8 to above the upper support surfaces 10 of extends relevant compartment 22 across.
- the one longitudinal direction 24 is, according to the preferred embodiment, the direction of movement in which the dish carrier 20 transports the dishes 12, 14 through the conveyor transport dishwasher 21.
- the transport direction could also be reversed.
- the compartments 22 are each provided with at least one staggered upper special support surface 34 which is disposed between both sides of a plurality of adjacent first upper support surfaces 10 and in the same direction as this, but offset relative to the upper support surfaces 10 in such a longitudinal direction 24 forward is arranged, and / or arranged offset upwards, that a second opening angle ⁇ 2 is formed, which is smaller than the defined by the upper support surfaces 10 opening angle ⁇ 1.
- the smaller opening angle ⁇ 2 is large enough to accommodate flat dishes 14 such.
- the term "height" 16 or 18 in this case denotes the height of the items to be washed, if this is horizontal.
- FIG. 2 shows a tray 14 with a height 16 and a soup plate 12 with a height 18.
