Abstract

L'invention concerne un mécanisme de percussion à ressort pneumatique comprenant un piston moteur (3) qui peut être déplacé selon un mouvement de va-et-vient axial et qui est configuré de manière creuse au niveau de sa face avant, un piston de percussion (6) pouvant être déplacé dans ladite cavité. Une fente de ventilation (13) est ménagée dans une paroi de guidage (5) du piston moteur (3). Ledit piston moteur (3) peut être guidé dans un tuyau de guidage (15). Ce tuyau de guidage (15) comporte plusieurs ouvertures de fonctionnement à vide (16). Un élément de commande (17) déplaçable est disposé sur la face extérieure du tuyau de guidage (15) et comporte des ouvertures de commande (18) qui correspondent auxdites ouvertures de fonctionnement à vide (16). Dans un mode de fonctionnement à vide, l'élément de commande (17) se trouve dans une position d'ouverture dans laquelle un espace creux (11) peut être relié de manière communicante avec l'environnement, par l'intermédiaire de la fente de ventilation (13), des ouvertures de fonctionnement à vide (16) et des ouvertures de commande (18).
