Definitions
- the invention relates to a fuel injection valve according to the preamble of the main claim, as from the document DE 101 33 265 A known.
- a metering valve for metering of liquids or gases in particular an injection valve for fuel injection systems in internal combustion engines, which has a piezo stack actuator, the change in length is transmitted upon application of an excitation voltage to a metering opening controlling valve needle and determines the stroke of the valve needle.
- the substance to be metered is supplied via a supply line, which is designed in the form of a deep hole in the valve body.
- a disadvantage of the from the DE 35 33 085 A1 known metering valve is the floating bearing of the hydraulic coupler between fuel inlet and actuator, whereby the coupler is exposed to fluctuations in the fuel pressure.
- the need for contacting the actuator electrical lines must be laid consuming, so as not to be claimed by the changes in position on train.
- the cables must be routed around the coupler, making them both longer and more installation space claim.
- the valve housing is thus voluminous and in turn requires a larger installation space in the cylinder head.
- the hydraulic coupler is fixedly arranged between the actuator and a valve group, so that the electrical contact of the actuator does not have to take place on the actuator and account for changes in length caused by changes in position of the coupler.
- the fuel injection valve should be further developed.
- the fuel injection valve according to the invention has the features of the main claim.
- the actuator is fixedly connected to the valve housing, whereby a stationary relative position of the actuator is achieved with respect to the housing.
- Another advantage is that the electrical wires pass through holes in an actuator base and are fixed and protected by a plastic extrusion.
- the plug in which the electrical lines are arranged, integrally formed on the plastic extrusion.
- the coupler acts advantageously on a dome on the valve needle, so that offsets can be compensated.
- a fuel injector 1 shown in Figs. 1 and 2 in two mutually perpendicular sectional views along a longitudinal axis is embodied in the form of a fuel injection valve 1 for fuel injection systems of mixture-compression, spark-ignition internal combustion engines.
- the fuel injection valve 1 is suitable in particular for the direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber, not shown, of an internal combustion engine.
- the fuel injection valve 1 comprises a housing 2 in which one provided with an Aktorumspritzung 3 piezoelectric or magnetostrictive actuator 4 is arranged.
- the actuator 4 is biased by a tube spring 5 to allow a non-destructive installation and a reproducible operation of the actuator 4.
- the actuator 4 can be supplied by means of an electrical line 6, an electrical voltage.
- the actuator 4 is supported on the inflow side on an actuator base 7 and downstream on an actuator head 8.
- the actuator 4 is encapsulated in an actuator housing 9.
- the fuel injection valve 1 downstream of the actuator 4 has a hydraulic coupler 10 which is mounted without pressure between the actuator 4 and a valve module 11.
- the hydraulic coupler 10 is designed as a second medium coupler 10 and comprises a master piston 12 and a slave piston 13, which are acted upon by a coupler spring 14 against each other.
- the hydraulic coupler 10 is sealed by an example corrugated gasket 15 against an interior 16 of the fuel injection valve 1.
- the slave piston 13 of the hydraulic coupler 10 bears against a calotte 17, which cooperates via an actuating element 18 with a valve needle 19.
- the calotte 17 ensures the compensation of offsets of the valve needle 19 during operation of the fuel injection valve 1.
- the valve needle 19 has at its downstream end a valve closing body 20 which cooperates with a valve seat surface 21 to a sealing seat.
- the exemplary embodiment is an outwardly opening fuel injection valve 1.
- the actuator 4 Due to the fact that the actuator 4 is not floating, but fixed, it is possible to achieve a fixed thermal connection of the actuator 4 to the housing 2, whereby a gap between the actuator 4 and the housing 2 can be omitted. Thereby, the temperature of the actuator 4 can be lowered by better heat dissipation.
- the electrical line 6 passes through the actuator foot 7 through holes 22 which are formed in the actuator base 7. Characterized in that the hydraulic coupler 10 is arranged downstream of the actuator 4, the electrical lines 6 can be laid shorter and without motion-compensating cable guides on the actuator 4. The valve housing 2 can thereby be made slimmer, since the electrical lines 6 do not have to be guided around the hydraulic coupler 10.
- the fuel supply via a central inlet port 23, in which a filter 24 may be arranged. About holes 25 and formed between the actuator housing 9 and the valve housing 2 gap 26, the fuel is passed to the sealing seat.
- the inlet nozzle 23 is provided in Fig. 2 with a plastic extrusion 27, on which a plug 28 is formed for the electrical lines 6.
- 3A and 3B show detailed views of the plug 28 in a plan view of the fuel injection valve 1 in the outflow direction of the fuel.
- FIG. 3A the fuel injection valve 1 without plastic extrusion 27 is shown in FIG. 1.
- the electrical lines 6 are guided directly and straight into the actuator base 7 and extend parallel to the bore 25, through which the fuel from the inlet port 23 is supplied.
- Fig. 3B the plug 28 is shown after the extrusion coating of the inlet nozzle 23 with plastic 27 in the same view.
- the plastic extrusion 27 and the plug 28 are simple and inexpensive to produce in one process step.
- the electrical lines 6 are through the plastic extrusion 27 on the inlet nozzle 23 and fixed on the actuator base 7 and protected from damage.
- the coupler 10 is pivotally mounted between the actuator head 8 and the valve needle 19 by means of a calotte 17.
- the cap 17 is in Fig. 1 and 2 between the hydraulic coupler 10 and an actuating element 18 which is in operative connection with the valve needle 19, respectively.
- the invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment and suitable for any designs of fuel injectors 1.

Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- Fig. 3A-B
