Abstract
Description
Im Bereich der bürokommunikativen Schnittstellen ist aber zunehmend eine einfache und für jeden Laien ausführbare Stecktechnik wünschenswert.
Bei diesen Steckverbindern sind keine exakten Vorgaben oder Anformungen für die Abmaße der Stecker vorgesehen, die in der Regel als Konfektionsware mit umspritzten, vormontiertem Kabel, wie z. B. bei sogenannte USB-Steckverbindern, geliefert werden.
In dem hier vorgesehenen Modulgehäuse zur Aufnahme eines derartigen Steckverbindergehäuses sind vorteilhafterweise symmetrisch angeordnete Rastelemente vorgesehen, die eine Rastfeder aufweisen, die in einem flachen Winkel in den Steckbereich des Modulgehäuses hinein gerichtet sind und das Steckverbindergehäuse beidseitig fixieren.
Das Modulgehäuse wiederum ist in einem Rahmen eines mehrere Module aufnehmenden Modulsteckverbinders verrastbar oder verschraubbar.
Beim Steckvorgang gleitet die in Steckrichtung ausgerichtete Rastfeder zunächst vorteilhaft an den Schmalseiten im Steckbereich des Steckverbindergehäuses entlang, verhakt jedoch sofort in der relativ weichen Gehäusewandung des Steckbereiches, sobald versucht wird, den Steckverbinder wieder zurückzuziehen.
Vorteilhaft ist weiterhin, dass die in ihren Außenabmaßen weitgehend ungenormten Steckverbindergehäuse eine gewisse Bandbreite aufweisen können, um dennoch in dem Modulgehäuse arretiert werden zu können.

An den Außenkanten sind jeweils Rasthaken 6 angeformt, mittels derer das Modulgehäuse, neben weiteren aneinanderreihbaren Modulgehäusen, in einem Rahmen eines Modularsteckverbinders (hier nicht gezeigt) einrastbar ist.
Das Modulgehäuse 10 weist einen Steckbereich 11 auf sowie eine Öffnung 12, durch die ein gesteckter Steckverbinder 1 hindurchragt, um mit einem Gegenstecker zu kontaktieren.
Ein hierbei verwendeter Steckverbinder 1 wird zusammen mit einem elektrischen Kabel 8 als bereits fertig konfektionierte Kabelverbindung geliefert. Die Kabelverbindung wird aus dem Steckverbinder 1, bestehend aus einem Steckverbindergehäuse 2, mit einem Steckbereich 3 und dem angeschlossenen Kabel 4 gebildet.
Der Steckbereich 3 wird von den verschiedenen Steckerproduzenten zwar in einer gewissen Bandbreite, jedoch mit unterschiedlichen Abmaßen geliefert, so dass für die Fixierung eines Steckverbinders nur eine variabel ausgelegte Arretierungsvorrichtung zweckmäßig ist.
Eine derartige Arretierungsvorrichtung ist im Steckbereich 11 des Modulgehäuses vorgesehen, wobei in den Schmalseiten des Modulgehäuses jeweils mindestens eine Rastfeder 16' - in eine Vertiefung 14 im Boden des Modulgehäuses hineinreichend - angeformt ist.
Hier sind beidseitig des Steckbereiches zwei hintereinander gestaffelt, angeformte Rastfedern 16' vorgesehen, die mit ihren Enden 17', etwa in einem Winkel von 45° von der Wand in Steckrichtung, in den Steckbereich 11 hinein ausgerichtet sind.
Bei diesem Modul ist eine Variante der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Arretierungsvorrichtung vorgesehen, wobei im Steckbereich 11 zwei gegenüberliegende Federelemente15 angeordnet sind, die jeweils mit einer Rastfeder 16, bzw. mit deren Ende 17 in den Steckbereich 11 weisen.
Die Federelemente 15 sind mit ihren Enden 19 in Schlitzen 13 fixiert und werden durch eine einseitig ausgeführte Einsatzöffnung 14 in das Modulgehäuse unverlierbar eingesetzt.
Die Wölbung ist erforderlich, um das Rastelement mit einer gewissen Spannung innerhalb der Schlitze 13 im Modul 10 zu halten.
Dieser Aufwand ist jedoch in durchaus gerechtfertigt, da diese Steckverbinder innerhalb eines mit mehreren Modulsteckern ausgerüsteten Systemsteckers eingebunden sind und in der Regel nur bei der Montage eines neuen Systems bestückt werden, ansonsten durch eine Trennung der beiden Hälften des Modulsteckers auch die darin gehaltenen Steckverbinder voneinander getrennt sind.
Claims (5)
- Vorrichtung zur Befestigung eines Steckverbinders in einem isolierenden Modulgehäuse eines Modulsteckers, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in dem Modulgehäuse (10) ein Steckbereich (11) vorgesehen ist, in dem mindestens eine Rastfeder (16, 16') angeordnet ist, deren Federende (17, 17'), in Steckrichtung ausgerichtet, in den Steckbereich (11) hineinragt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rastfeder (16') im Steckbereich (11) am Modulgehäuse (10) angeformt ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rastfeder (16) in einem flachen, U-förmigen Federelement (15) integriert ist, wobei die Rastfeder mit Ihrem Ende (17) entgegen der U-Form aus dem Federelement hervorragt.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 und 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Federelement (15) in Schlitzen (13) im Steckbereich (11) des Modulgehäuses (10) eingefügt ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im Bodenbereich des Modulgehäuses mindestens eine Öffnung 14 vorgesehen ist.
