Description

The invention relates to a method for introducing a spring of a provided with a tongue / groove profiling plate, in particular a bottom panel, forming the locking element, in a present on one of the side edges of the plate first groove, wherein the strip has locking means, through the two via the spring / groove connected plates can be locked to each other transversely in the connecting direction.

From the DE 100 34 409 A1 Building panels, in particular floor panels with a core of wood-based material are known, which are provided on at least two opposite side edges over their full longitudinal and / or transverse side extending grooves. The first groove and the opposite second groove of the panel are mirror-symmetrical. The connecting element is barbed. By default, the connecting element is inserted into one of the grooves. It then forms the spring of the panel. To connect two panels, the spring of one panel is inserted into the groove of the other panel. By the barbs on the locking element, the two plates are then locked to each other transversely in the connecting direction. Basically, such plates known as click panels. So floor panels can be installed floating without glue. As such, it is known to mill the spring of the panel out of the core material.

The invention has for its object to provide a method by which the locking element can be used by machine in the first groove of the plate.

The object is achieved with the components explained in the introduction by the following steps:
  1. a) the plate and the locking element are transported at the same speed to each other in parallel along a transport path in a transport direction T.
  2. b) the locking element runs during transport laterally on a transport path in the transport direction T steadily narrowing stationary device,
  3. c) by means of the device, the locking element is steadily increasingly displaced transversely to the transport direction T until it thereby
  4. d) is pressed with its beginning in relation to the transport direction T front end steadily increasing in the groove of the plate.

The steps according to the invention make it possible to use the locking elements along a production line with a high clock frequency. Characterized in that the plate and the locking element are transported at the same speed, no relative displacement of the two components to each other is possible, so that the locking element is pressed reliably and reproducibly in the predetermined position in the groove in the plate.

Preferably, the plate is transported by at least one circumferentially driven belt, are arranged on the spaced apart in the transport direction T driver and a respective driver engages both the plate and the locking element.

By this configuration, it is possible to store the plates in a magazine, to pass individually to the tape, where the driver then starts against the back of the plate and transported this forward.

Preferably, a plurality of carriers are arranged on the belt transversely to the transport direction, so that in particular when the locking element is introduced into the transverse side of the plate, a secure guidance of the plate is guided on its longitudinal side.

The plate can also be transported by a plurality of circumferentially driven, mutually parallel bands, in which case on each band in the transport direction T spaced apart drivers are arranged and each carries a carrier on only one band both the plate and the strip. In this case, it must only be ensured that the individual belts are driven synchronously and the carriers of the individual belts also run parallel to one another transversely to the transport direction in order to prevent the plate from being tilted during transport.

Preferably, the driver first grips the plate and then the locking element.

The device by means of which the locking element is pressed into the groove preferably consists of a rail extending in the transporting direction T with a groove opening in the direction of the side edge of the plate, the groove base of the groove running obliquely in the direction of the slot opening. By this configuration, the locking element is inclined in the transport direction T and pressed continuously at its front end starting in the groove of the plate.

The locking element is preferably gripped by a projection formed on the driver which dips into the groove of the rail. The groove corresponds in width to the thickness of the locking element, so that adjusts a forced operation of the locking element.

In particular, when the strip is made of plastic and is conveyed by a roller and cut to length, the positive guidance through the groove prevents the locking element is verwelten or curved transported.

The transport device consists of the three mutually parallel to pulleys 7, 8 circumferentially driven belts 1, 1a, 1b. In the transport direction T are on the belts 1, 1a, 1b driver 2, 2a, 2b arranged regularly spaced. The drivers 2, 2a, 2b protrude over the conveyor belts 1, 1a, 1b in the vertical direction and are aligned parallel to one another in the transverse direction Q. The drivers 2, 2a, 2b engage the rear longitudinal edge of a plate 6 and take the plate 6 so in the transport direction T with. Laterally to the conveyor belt 1, a device consisting of a rail 3 is arranged in the transport path, which has a groove 9 opening in the direction of the belt 1. When the plate 6 is guided past the rail 3, the first groove 5 milled in the side edge of the plate 6 and the groove 9 are opposite the rail 3. In the groove 9, the strip-shaped locking element 4 is inserted. The groove bottom 9a of the groove 3 extends obliquely in the transporting direction T, so that the distance between the groove bottom 9a and the side edge of the panel 6 is steadily reduced in relation to the transport direction T.

In the groove 9, the strip-shaped locking element 4 is inserted. The driver 2 of the band 1 are with 3 laterally projecting towards the rail protrusions 2 'provided, which dive into the groove 9 of the rail 3 and thereby grab the strip 4 and transport at the same speed as the plate 6 in the transport direction T. Due to the oblique groove bottom 9a of the strip 4 is placed in the groove 9 over the transport path and inserted with its front end 4 'starting in the groove 5 of the plate 6 and pressed in the transport direction T steadily in the groove 5 until it is complete at the end is inserted into the groove 5.

The plate 6 is provided at its opposite edges with identically shaped grooves 5, 15. The production of the plates 6 is thereby simplified and the locking element 4 can be formed symmetrically, whereby the tool costs are reduced. The locking element 4 can be supplied as a strip material from the roll and cut to length before the device 3 and then inserted in the appropriate length in the groove 4. For this purpose, an opening not shown in detail in the upper lip 3 'of the groove 9 may be provided.
