Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen verbesserten Schläger für Ballspiele, insbesondere Tennis-, Squash-, Badminton-, Racketball- oder Paddletennis-Schläger, mit einem einen Schlägerkopf und einen damit verbundenen Griffabschnitt aufweisenden Rahmen, der aus einem Rahmenprofil gebildet ist, wobei der Schlägerkopf eine Bespannungsebene definiert. Das Rahmenprofil weist mindestens eine sich durch das Rahmenprofil hindurch erstreckende Öffnung auf, die im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Bespannungsebene des Schlägers verläuft. Vorzugsweise sind mindestens zwei derartige Öffnungen im wesentlichen symmetrisch zur Längsachse des Schlägers vorgesehen und bei etwa 2 Uhr bis 4 Uhr bzw. 8 Uhr bis 10 Uhr am Schlägerkopf ausgebildet. Besonders bevorzugt liegen die Öffnungen bei etwa 3 Uhr bzw. 9 Uhr. Dem erfindungsgemäßen Schläger wird dadurch eine besonders vorteilhafte Ballführcharakteristik verliehen.
