Schienenfahrzeug (SCH), bei welchem an zumindest einer Fahrzeugfront (FRO) ein Notausgang (NOT) angeordnet ist, wobei in einem vor dem Notausgang (NOT) gelegenen Endbereich (END) des Schienenfahrzeugs (SCH) ein Fahrerpult (FAP) und ein Fahrersitz (FAS) angeordnet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich der Notausgang (NOT) zu beiden Seiten einer senkrecht zur Schienenebene verlaufenden Längsmittelebene (λ) des Schienenfahrzeuges (SCH) erstreckt, und der Fahrersitz (FAS) und zumindest ein mittlerer Abschnitt (MAS) des Fahrerpults (FAP) zumindest abschnittsweise je aus einer vor dem Notausgang (NOT) gelegenen Fahrposition (Fig. 1), in welcher die Positionen des Fahrersitzes (FAS) und des mittleren Abschnitts (MAS) des Fahrerpults (FAP) von der Längsmittelebene (λ) geschnitten werden, in Richtung einer Seitenwand (SEI) in eine Notposition (Fig. 2) bewegbar gelagert sind, in welcher zumindest der mittlere Abschnitt (MAS) des Fahrerpultes (FAP) und der Fahrersitz (FAS) neben der Längsmittelebene (λ) angeordnet sind, sodass in der Notposition in dem Endbereich (END) ein im wesentlichen der Breite des Notausgangs (NOT) entsprechender, parallel zur Längserstreckung des Schienenfahrzeuges verlaufender Fluchtraum (FLR) gebildet ist.1.
