Description

Zigarettenpackung
Beschreibung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Zigarettenpackung des Typs Klappschachtel (Hinge Lid Pack), bestehend aus Schachtelteil, einem mit diesem verbundenen Deckel und einem Kragen, wobei Schachtelteil und Deckel miteinander korrespondierende, aufrechte frontseitige und rückseitige Packungskanten mit rundem Querschnitt - Rundkanten - bilden.
Klappschachteln mit abgerundeten Packungskanten sind bekannt (EP 0 204 933). Die Rundung der Packungskanten ist bei dieser bekannten Ausführung an die Abmessungen der Zigaretten, also an den Radius einer Zigarette, angepasst.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Zigarettenpackung bzw. Klappschachtel mit Rundkanten weiterzuentwickeln und zu verbessern, derart, dass eine verbesserte Handhabung und höhere Stabilität der Packung ohne erhöhten Materialeinsatz erreicht ist.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Zigarettenpackung dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein (gedachter) Radius der Rundkanten deutlich größer ist als der Radius einer Zigarette, nämlich insbesondere einen Radius von 6 mm bis 10 mm, vorzugsweise von etwa 8 mm aufweist. Der Radius einer Zigarette beträgt etwa 3,8 mm.
Durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung der Rundkanten wird der überwiegende Bereich von Seitenwänden der Packungen durch die Rundungen bzw. Rundkanten gebildet. Ein zwischen den Rundkanten definierter Seitenstreifen von Seitenwänden der Packungen ist gemäß einer besonderen Ausführungsform der Packung eben, gemäß einer anderen Ausführungsform ebenfalls gerundet mit einem Radius deutlich größer als der Radius der Rundkanten.
Durch die erfindungsgemäße Gestaltung der Packung ist eine Material sparende Fertigung gewährleistet. Darüber hinaus ist die Handhabung durch den Verbraucher aufgrund der starken Rundungen verbessert. Schließlich wird durch diese auch eine erhöhte Form- Stabilität der Packung insgesamt geschaffen. Eine Besonderheit ist die Ausgestaltung der Zuschnitte, und zwar zum einen hinsichtlich der Vorbereitung von Faltlappen zur Bildung der Rundungen und zum anderen hinsichtlich der Ausgestaltung von Ecklappen, die im Bereich einer Bodenwand und einer Stirnwand aufgrund der geometrischen Gestalt und Anordnung eine Erhöhung der Formsta- bilität im Bereich der Rundungen bewirken.
Ausführungsbeispiele der erfindungsgemäßen Packungen werden nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

Bei den gezeigten Ausführungsbeispielen geht es um Packungen des Typs Klappschachtel zur Aufnahme von Zigaretten 10. Eine derartige Packung besteht aus einem (unteren) Schachtelteil 11 und einem Deckel 12. Letzterer ist schwenkbar mit dem Schachtelteil 11 verbunden. Weiterhin gehört zu dieser Packung ein Kragen 13, der im Schachtelteil 11 frontseitig verankert ist und mit einem oberen Bereich aus dem Schachtelteil 11 herausragt.
Der Packungsinhalt, nämlich eine Zigarettengruppe 14, ist von einem Innenzuschnitt 15 aus Stanniol oder Papier vollständig umgeben und bildet so einen Zigarettenblock 16. Die Packung ist üblicherweise in eine äußere Folie (nicht gezeigt) eingehüllt, die ganz oder teilweise bei der erstmaligen Ingebrauchnahme entfernt wird.
Der Schachtelteil 11 besteht aus einer Vorderwand 17, einer Rückwand 18, Seitenwän- den 19 und 20 sowie einer Bodenwand 21. Analog besteht der Deckel aus Deckel- Vorderwand 22, Deckel-Rückwand 23, Deckel-Seitenwänden 24, 25 und einer oberen Stirnwand 26. Die Deckel-Rückwand 23 ist mit der Rückwand 18 des Schachtelteils 11 über ein quergerichtetes Liniengelenk 27 verbunden.
Der Zuschnitt für diesen Packungstyp ist so aufgebaut, dass Vorderwand 17, Bodenwand 21 , Rückwand 18, Deckel-Rückwand 23, Stirnwand 26 und Deckel-Vorderwand 22 aufeinanderfolgend eine Einheit bilden. Am freien Rand der Deckel-Vorderwand 22 ist ein üblicher Deckel-Innenlappen 28 angebracht, der bei der fertigen Packung gegen die Innenseite der Deckel-Vorderwand 22 gefaltet und mit dieser verbunden ist.
Die Seitenwände 19, 20 bzw. Deckel-Seitenwände 24, 25 bestehen aus einander teilweise überdeckenden Seitenlappen, nämlich äußeren Seitenlappen 29, inneren Seitenlappen 30, äußeren Deckel-Seitenlappen 31 und inneren Deckel-Seitenlappen 32.
Der Kragen 13 besteht aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt (Fig. 4, Fig. 8) unter Bildung einer Kragen-Vorderwand 33 und Kragen-Seitenlappen 34. Eine Besonderheit der Packungen ist die Ausgestaltung der Seitenwände 19, 20 und Deckel-Seitenwände 24, 25. Diese sind mit starken Rundungen bzw. insgesamt abgerundet.
Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 bis Fig. 4 sowie Fig. 9 sind die Seitenwände 19, 20 bzw. 24, 25 insgesamt und durchgehend gerundet. Die Seitenwände 19, 20; 24, 25 bestehen aus Rundungsbereichen unterschiedlicher Form und Größe bzw. mit unterschiedlichem Radius, jedoch derart, dass die einzelnen Bereiche absatzfrei, nämlich etwa tangential ineinander sowie in die zugeordneten Packungswände übergehen.
Bei einer Klappschachtel übliche, aufrechte Packungskanten 35, 36 sind mit einer deutlichen Rundung versehen. Jede dieser runden Packungskanten 35, 36 erstreckt sich - im Querschnitt gesehen - über einen Bereich, der deutlich kleiner ist als der eines Viertelkreises. Die Rundung, also der Radius der Packungskanten 35, 36, ist deutlich größer als die Rundung einer Zigarette 10, weist nämlich einen Radius von 6 mm bis 10 mm auf, insbesondere von etwa 8 mm. Zwischen den so ausgebildeten Packungskanten 35, 36 ist ein rundes Zwischenstück gebildet, nämlich ein Rundungsbereich 37. Dieser schließt übergangsfrei an die Rundungen der Packungskanten 35, 36 an, so dass sich eine insgesamt harmonische runde Form der Seitenwände 19, 20; 24, 25 ergibt. Insgesamt beste- hen demnach die Seitenwände aus drei aneinanderschließenden Rundungen. Der mittleren Rundungsbereich 37 hat einen deutlich größeren Radius als die Rundungen der Packungskanten 35, 36, nämlich in der Größenordnung von 15 mm bis 20 mm, insbesondere etwa 17 mm.
Die Seitenwände 19, 20; 24, 25 werden durch die Seitenlappen 29, 30; 31 , 32 gebildet. Die vorgenannten Seitenlappen überdecken einander ausschließlich im Bereich des mittleren Rundungsbereichs 37.
Der Kragen 13 ist an die innenseitige Form der Packung angepasst, nämlich parallel zu den Rundungen der frontseitigen Packungskanten 35, 36. Rückseitig erstrecken sich die Kragen-Seitenlappen 34 bis an die Packungskanten 35, 36.
Bei der Klappschachtel gemäß Fig. 5 bis Fig. 9 sowie Fig. 10 sind die runden Packungskanten 35, 36 deutlicher ausgeprägt, erstrecken sich nämlich exakt über einen Viertel- kreis. An diese übereinstimmenden runden Packungskanten 35, 36 schließt ein Seitenstreifen 38 an, der mit den Packungskanten 35, 36 die Seitenwand 19, 20 bzw. Deckel- Seitenwand 23, 24 bildet. Die Rundungen der Packungskanten 35, 36 gehen dabei tan- gential in den Seitenstreifen 38 einerseits und in Vorderwand 17, 22 bzw. Rückwand 18, 23 andererseits über. Die Breite des Seitenstreifens 38 ergibt sich aus den Querabmessungen der Packung in Abhängigkeit von der Anzahl der Zigaretten 10 und beträgt bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel etwa 7 mm bis 8 mm. Die Packungskanten haben auch bei diesem Beispiel einen Radius von etwa 8 mm.
Die Seitenlappen 29, 30; 31 , 32 überdecken einander ausschließlich im Bereich des mittleren Seitenstreifens 38, und zwar nur in einem mittleren Teilbereich desselben unter beidseitiger Freilassung eines Abstands von etwa 0,5 mm (Fig. 10).
Die Zuschnitte für die Fertigung der Packungen sind in besonderer Weise auf deren Form abgestimmt. Der in Fig. 3 gezeigte Zuschnitt für eine Packung in der Querschnittsform der Fig. 9 ist über die gesamte Breite der Seitenlappen 29, 30 und Deckel-Seitenlappen 31, 32 auf die Rundbereiche vorbereitet, und zwar durch entsprechende Vorbehandlung dieser Zuschnittteile. Konkret handelt es sich dabei um in Längsrichtung verlaufende parallele Rillungen 39, die durch Prägen der Zuschnitte eingebracht sind. Die durch Ril- lung 39 vorbereiteten Zuschnittbereiche sind durch gestrichelte parallele Linien gekennzeichnet.
Bodenwand 21 und Stirnwand 26 sind an die Querschnittskontur der Packung (Fig. 9) angepasst. Seitliche Ränder 40 sind gerundet, und zwar entsprechend der beschriebenen Kontur der Seitenwände 19, 20; 24, -25 in Fig. 9, also mit mehreren aneinander anschließenden Rundungen.
In besonderer weise sind Ecklappen 41 , 42 ausgebildet, die der Bodenwand 21 einerseits und der Stirnwand 26 andererseits zugeordnet sind. Die Ecklappen 41 , 42 sind an den innenliegenden Seitenlappen 30 bzw. Deckel-Seitenlappen 32 angebracht, und zwar - in Ausgangsstellung - in einem freien Bereich neben Bodenwand 21 bzw. Stirnwand 26.
Es sind jeder Seite zwei Ecklappen 41 , 42 zugeordnet, die durch eine keilförmige Stanzung 43 voneinander getrennt sind. Bei der fertigen Packung (Fig. 2) liegen die beiden Ecklappen 41 , 42 jeweils im Bereich einer Seitenwand 19, 20 innen an der Stirnwand 26 und analog an der Bodenwand 21 an. Die Relativstellung ist in Fig. 2 anhand der Stirnwand 26 gezeigt. Aufgrund der Rundung einerseits und der V-förmigen Stanzung 43 andererseits liegen die beiden Ecklappen 41 , 42 ohne Überdeckung direkt aneinander.
Eine weitere Besonderheit ist die Kontur des Ecklappens 42, der jeweils einer gerundeten, frontseitigen Packungskante 35 zugeordnet ist. Der im Wesentlichen trapezförmige Ecklappen 42 weist außen eine zunächst bogenförmige und dann geradlinig, schräg verlaufende Kontur 44 auf. Diese ist so ausgebildet, dass der Ecklappen 42 mit dieser Kontur 44 an der zugeordneten runden Packungskante 35 und anschließenden Bereichen der Vorderwand 17 bzw. Deckel-Vorderwand 22 anliegt (Fig. 2). Der Ecklappen 42 trägt so zur Stabilisierung der Packungsform im Bereich der frontseitigen runden Packungskante 35 bei. Die Ecklappen 41 , 42 sind mit Bodenwand 21 bzw. Stirnwand 26 zweckmäßigerweise durch Klebung verbunden.
In besonderer Weise ist der Zuschnitt für die Ausführung der Packung gemäß Fig. 10 ausgebildet. Der äußere Seitenlappen 29 ist vollflächig mit Rillungen 39 versehen. Die inneren Seitenlappen 30 sind in einem gerundeten Bereich mit Rillungen 39 versehen, nämlich unter Bildung eines Rillungsstreifens 49. Daneben befindet sich ein Randstreifen 45 frei von Rillungen. Dieser Randstreifen 45 erstreckt sich im Bereich des Seitenstreifens 38, ist also nicht bogenförmig gestaltet. Der äußere Seitenlappen 29 kann analog ausgebildet sein, also ebenfalls mit einem rillungsfreien Randstreifen.
Die Ecklappen 42 sind auch bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel so ausgebildet, dass eine formschlüssige Positionierung an der Innenseite der Bodenwand 21 und Stirnwand 26 möglich ist. Eine Außenkante 46 erstreckt sich in der Längsrichtung des Zuschnitts. Eine Innenkante 47 ist leicht schräg verlaufend.
Der Kragen 13 (Fig. 8) ist in gleicher Weise ausgebildet wie bei dem oben beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiel.
Der Deckel-Innenlappen 28 ist bei den gezeigten Ausführungsbeispielen mit einer rand- seitigen Ausstanzung 48 versehen zur Schaffung einer bei Klappschachteln bekannten Schließhilfe für den Deckel 12. Die Zigaretten 10 können innerhalb der in vorstehender Weise ausgebildeten Zigarettenpackung in verschiedener Weise formiert sein. Vorteilhaft ist eine Anordnung gemäß Fig. 9 und Fig. 10 mit Anordnung in Querreihen mit jeweils drei Zigaretten 10 nebeneinander oder mit zwei Zigaretten 10 nebeneinander. Dadurch können die Zigaretten 10 - bis auf den Bereich einer mittleren Querebene - in "Sattellage", also versetzt zueinander positioniert werden. An den jeweiligen Seitenwänden 19, 20 bzw. Deckel-Seitenwänden 24, 25 sind jeweils zwei nebeneinanderliegende Zigaretten 10 positioniert.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Zigarettenpackung des Typs Klappschachtel (Hinge Lid Pack), bestehend aus Schachtelteil (11), mit diesem verbundenem Deckel (12) und einem Kragen (13), wobei Schachtelteil (11) und Deckel (12) miteinander korrespondierende, aufrechte frontseitige und rückseitige Packungskanten (35, 36) mit rundem Querschnitt - Rundkanten - bilden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rundungen der Packungskanten (35, 36) einen (gedachten) Radius aufweisen, der deutlich größer ist als der Radius einer Zigarette (10), nämlich 6 mm bis 10 mm beträgt, insbesondere (etwa) 8 mm.
2. Zigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Seiten- wände (19, 20) und Deckel-Seitenwände (24, 25) aus frontseitigen und rückseitigen gerundeten Packungskanten (35, 36) und einem verhältnismäßig schmalen ebenen Zwischenbereich - Seitenstreifen (38) - gebildet sind, wobei der (ebene) Seitenstreifen (38) eine Breite von vorzugsweise 7 mm bis 8 mm aufweist.
3. Zigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Seitenwände (19, 20) bzw. Deckel-Seitenwände (24, 25) insgesamt eine runde Kontur aufweisen, nämlich bestehend aus den gerundeten frontseitigen und rückseitigen Packungskanten (35, 36) und einem zwischen diesen angeordneten Rundungsbereich (37) mit einem (gedachten) Radius, der deutlich größer als der Radius der gerundeten Packungs- kanten (35, 36), nämlich einen Radius von 15 mm bis 20 mm, insbesondere von etwa 17 mm aufweist.
4. Zigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Seitenwände (19, 20) und Deckel-Seitenwände (24, 25) bildende Seitenlappen (29, 30) bzw. Deckel-Seitenlappen (31, 32) lediglich im Bereich des Seitenstreifens (38) einander überdecken und miteinander (durch Klebung) verbunden sind.
5. Zigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Seitenlappen (29, 30) bzw. Deckel-Seitenlappen (31 , 32) zur Bildung der Seitenwände (19, 20) bzw. Deckel-Seitenwände (24, 25) einander lediglich im Rundungsbereich (37) überdecken und (durch Klebung) miteinander verbunden sind.

Zigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Zuschnitt für die Herstellung der Zigarettenpackung Seitenwände (19, 20) und Deckel-Seitenwände (24, 25) aufweist, die aus einander teilweise überdeckenden Seitenlappen (29, 30) und Deckel-Seitenlappen (31, 32) bestehen, die mindestens in Bereichen zur Bildung von Rundungen, nämlich gerundeten Packungskanten (35, 36) und eines Rundungsbereichs (37) durchgehend, nämlich über die volle Breite, Rillungen (39) aufweisen.
7. Zigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die äußeren Seitenlappen (29) und/oder die inneren Seitenlappen (30) und/oder äußere Deckel-Seitenlappen (31) und/oder innere Deckel-Seitenlappen (32) einen äußeren Randstreifen (45) ohne Rillung aufweisen zur Bildung einer ebenen Überdeckung im Bereich eines ebenen Randstreifens (45) der Seitenwände (19, 20) bzw. Deckel-Seitenwände (24, 25).
8. Zigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Ecklappen (41, 42) im Bereich von Bodenwand (21) und/oder Stirnwand (26) hinsichtlich der Kontur und Größe so ausgebildet sind, dass in gefaltetem Zustand eine passende, formschlüssige Anlage an runden Packungskanten (35, 36) und angrenzenden Bereichen von Seitenwand (19, 20) und/oder Deckel-Seitenwand (24, 25) gegeben ist.
9. Zigarettenpackung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Bodenwand (21) und/oder Stirnwand (26) jeweils zwei Ecklappen (41 , 42) im Bereich einer Seitenwand (19, 20) und/oder Deckel-Seitenwand (24, 25) zugeordnet sind, wobei die jeweils zusammenwirkenden Ecklappen (41 , 42) durch eine keilförmige Stanzung (43) voneinander getrennt sind, derart, dass die beiden Ecklappen (41 , 42) in gefaltetem Zustand unmittelbar und lückenlos aneinanderliegen.
