Definitions

  • the invention relates to a gate according to the preamble of patent claim 1
  • the guide rail assemblies are used, for example, to guide movement of a door leaf, such as a sectional door leaf, between a closed position in which the door leaf extends substantially in a vertical plane and an open position in which the door leaf extends overhead in a horizontal plane.
  • a door leaf such as a sectional door leaf
  • the known guide rail arrangements usually comprise two guide rails arranged in the region of opposite lateral edges of the door leaf, each of which has a rectilinear section extending substantially in the vertical direction and a rectilinear section extending substantially in the horizontal direction.
  • the closed position the door leaf is arranged substantially between the vertically extending straight sections of the guide rails, while it is arranged in the open position generally between the substantially horizontally extending rectilinear segments.
  • an approximately circular arc-shaped connecting segment is arranged, which merges at its one end approximately tangentially in the vertically extending rectilinear segment and at its other end in which approximately in the horizontal direction overhead extending rectilinear segment passes.
  • This arrangement of the guide rails ensures that at opposite lateral edges of the door leaf fixed and usually recorded in the guide rails guide elements, such as guide rollers, and thus the door leaf itself moves along the path predetermined by the guide rail arrangement between the closed position and the open position trouble-free can be.
  • the guide rails of such a guide rail assembly can be produced by first producing a linear guide rail and cutting it to a predetermined length and then with a suitable bending tool for producing an arcuate portion forming the connecting segment of the web at an angle of is bent about 90 °.
  • a suitable bending tool for producing an arcuate portion forming the connecting segment of the web at an angle of is bent about 90 °.
  • different radii of curvature can be used for the part of the connecting section merging into the horizontally extending guide rail section and the part of the connecting section merging into the approximately vertically extending guide rail section.
  • the connecting segment can be produced in one piece with one of the rectilinear guide rail sections.
  • the connecting segment is verwirkticht by another, approximately circular arc-shaped rail element, which is connected at its two ends with one of the rectilinear guide rail elements.
  • the entire height of the guide rail assembly according to the invention can be reduced with the same length of rectilinear portions of the rail elements, because at predetermined radii of curvature of the arcuate segments, a deflection of about 90 ° is reached even if the horizontally extending guide rail section in a less than that Radius of curvature of the arcuate portions corresponding distance above the upper end of the vertically extending guide rail portion is arranged.
  • the mounting of the guide rail assembly is simplified compared to the mounting of the guide rail assembly described in DE-A-19857670, because only two rail elements must be mounted on each side edge of the door leaf to form the serving for guiding the door leaf web, wherein each of these rail members has a rectilinear portion and an arcuate portion which forms part of the connecting segment between the rectilinear portions of the guide rail made of the two rail members.
  • the transport of the guide rail assemblies can be further facilitated, if preferably at least one of the rail elements to the rectilinear extending portion extending away end of the arcuate portion tangent forms an acute angle of less than 45 ° with a parallel to the rectilinear portion extending straight line, because so the dimensions of the rail elements in a direction perpendicular to the rectilinear portion extending direction can be further reduced.
  • the generally horizontally upwardly extending linear guide rail sections are usually secured with corresponding fasteners to the ceiling of the door to be closed space, while the substantially vertically extending straight guide rail sections in are generally attached to the lateral Zargenholmen of the gate.
  • the installation height of the straight-line segments extending over the head in the horizontal direction is predetermined by the fastening elements. Therefore, at different room heights correspondingly different heights between the bottom of the space to be closed with the gate and over the head approximately in the horizontal direction extending rectilinear guide rail sections must be bridged.
  • a predetermined passage height when using the longer approximately rectilinear portion of one of the rail elements to form the vertical segment of the guideway even then be ensured if a lower in the closed position edge of the door leaf in the open position in the area through the arcuate portions of Rail elements formed connecting segments below the over head in the horizontal direction extending rectilinear guide rail section is arranged and there is at least partially covered by a fall corresponding height. Therefore, for the installation situation described in a room with a large height, a linearly extending and over head in the horizontal direction extending guide rail section can be used, which is shorter than the passage height of the wall to be closed with the door opening.
  • the rail element having the shorter rectilinear portion can be used to form the approximately vertically extending segment of the guideway.
  • a low overall height of the entire guide rail assembly is achieved.
  • the longer rectilinear portion to form the over head approximately in the horizontal direction segment of the guideway sufficient space for receiving the lower edge in the closed position of the door leaf in the open position between the horizontally extending guide rail portion provided with a fixed to the lower in the closed position of the door leaf guide element is arranged in the open position at approximately the same height, as the other in the horizontally extending linear guide rail portion recorded guide elements.
  • guide rails are designed for receiving guide rollers rotatably mounted on the door leaf about a rotation axis extending perpendicularly to the path predetermined by the guide rail arrangement, it has proved particularly advantageous for safety reasons if the rail elements surround the guide rollers on three sides and only in the direction on the door leaf has a slot extending along the predetermined path.
  • one of the rail elements arranged in a space of a large (small) height in the region of the one side when mounting the guide rail assembly to produce a suitable for installation in a room with a small (high) height guide rail assembly in the region of the other Edge of the door leaf are arranged, if it can be converted by a reflection on a plane parallel to the plane extending rectilinear sections in the other rail element.
  • the door is particularly advantageously a sectional door with a longitudinal path defined by the guide rail between a closed position and an open position movable door leaf, wherein the door leaf arranged a plurality of in the direction of the predetermined path behind one another and perpendicular to the predetermined Track having joint axes having joints with pivotally interconnected panels.
  • each guide rail of the guide rail assembly expediently in the closed position approximately parallel to the door leaf in the direction of gravity extending rectilinear portion and one integrally with arcuate portions formed in the rectilinear portions and connected in the open position approximately parallel to the door leaf in the horizontal direction extending straight portion.
  • a rail element which can be used for producing this guide rail arrangement is essentially characterized in that it has a rectilinear section and an arcuate section formed integrally therewith to form the connection segment, wherein a At the end remote from the rectilinear portion facing away from the arcuate portion tangent includes an acute angle of less than 90 °, preferably less than 45 ° with a parallel to the rectilinear portion extending straight line.
  • the guide rail assembly shown in Fig. 1 comprises a generally designated 10 guide rail.
  • This guide rail 10 is formed of two rail elements 20 and 30, each of which has a rectilinear portion 22 and 32 and an integrally formed therewith arcuate portion 24 and 34, respectively.
  • the rectilinear sections 22 and 32 extend approximately tangentially to the ends of the arcuate sections 24 and 34 facing these sections.
  • the rectilinear portion 22 of the rail member 20 extends in an approximately vertical direction, starting from the floor 46 of a garage in the direction of the garage ceiling 44.
  • the rectilinear portion 32 of the rail member 30 extends in an approximately horizontal direction below the garage ceiling 44. In this case, the rectilinear
  • the installation of the guide rail 10 shown in FIG. 1 in a garage with a comparatively large height H between the garage floor 46 and the garage ceiling 44 is made possible.
  • the garage has a driveway 40 with a headroom h, which is bounded at its upper edge by a fall on the one hand in the ceiling 44 camber 42 with a height B.
  • the rail element 30 with the rectilinear section 32 extending in the horizontal direction is provided with suitable fastening elements (not shown) mounted on top of the garage ceiling 44, while the rail member 20 with the extending approximately rectilinear rectilinear portion 22 on a vertical Zargenholm (not shown) is attached, on the other hand at a the entrance 40 having wall is fixed.
  • the rectilinear portions 32 and 22 are connected to each other via the arcuate portions 34 and 24 integrally formed therewith.
  • the guide rail 10 serves to guide the movement of a door leaf (not shown) between a closed position in which it extends approximately parallel to the vertical guide rail section 22 and an open position in which it extends approximately parallel to the horizontal guide rail section 32.
  • the length D of the horizontal guide rail section 32 is slightly less than the passage height h of the garage entrance 40. Therefore, a guide roller accommodated in the guide rail 10 in the open position in the region of the arcuate section is arranged on the bottom edge of the door leaf in the closed position 34 of the rail member 30 is disposed slightly below the rest in the open position in the rectilinear portion 32 of the rail member 30 recorded guide rollers.
  • the rectilinear portion 22 of the rail member 20 is made longer than the rectilinear portion 32 of the rail member 30, however, ensures that even in this arrangement of the closed position in the lower edge of the door leaf in the open position a sufficient headroom is available, said the lintel 42 in the open position forms a cover which is advantageous for optical reasons and to increase the operational safety for the lower edge of the door leaf in the closed position.
