Definitions

  • the invention relates to a plastic channel, which is composed of individual, frontally interconnectable, at least substantially U-shaped channel profile elements, each having on both sides of upstanding in the direction of the open side of the plastic groove Rinnenwanditch limited gutter base, the Rinnenwandened each gutter profile element to the open side of Plastic gutter in each case in a suitable for receiving a gutter cover integrally molded frame, which is bounded by an upper edge of the respective gutter profile element, which is formed by a folded edge of Rinnenwandung and outside the gutter in a at least in the region of Rinnenwandung outside arranged stiffening skirt goes over such that in each case a double wall is formed at least in this upper region of the channel wall, wherein the stiffening skirt with increasing distance from the upper edge of the channel wall in a at least in sections, by openings broken through sideband passes.
  • Such a plastic gutter is about from the DE 93 19 836 U previously known.
  • This document discloses a plastic channel, which forms a frame in the region of its open side, which in addition to entering into connections with the laying base has edgings in the region of the frame edges.
  • Another plastic gutter is from the DE 197 31 585 A1 known.
  • plastic channel is made up of U-shaped channel elements, which are connected to each other at the end with the inclusion of a seal.
  • this is an easy to be laid and even with slight heels still sealed gutter system to be created, in which in the upper region of the channel acting in a vertical direction locking device is provided to the channel elements in their Hold connection position.
  • the channel elements are additionally connected to each other in the area of the end faces.
  • the prior art plastic gutter is provided with a Aufsatzmetallzarge into which a gutter cover is used.
  • plastic fins are enjoying an ever greater popularity. They are replacing more and more corresponding concrete and metal gutters, as they offer considerable advantages in production and assembly due to their lower weight and often lower production costs. In addition, they are corrosion resistant and partly made from recycled materials.
  • the lightweight plastic material also offers advantages in storage and assembly, because it can be partially moved and mounted on site without auxiliary or lifting equipment.
  • plastic gutters are still considered to be less resilient than comparable concrete gutters, so that plastic gutters in higher load classes are still rarely used.
  • the present invention seeks to provide a plastic gutter increased load capacity.
  • the plastic channel is provided with a stiffening skirt at least in the upper region of the channel walls, a double-walledness is thereby given in this area. Since the forces introduced on the upper side are absorbed in this area under normal conditions of use and, moreover, forces acting approximately horizontally, for example when driving over, act on this area, in particular stiffening is required in order to give the channel additional stability and load capacity.
  • the gutter is also easier to assemble, that the stiffening apron merges into an apertured sideband to which during assembly of the laying, preferably a concrete enclosure is pulled up so that the sideband is penetrated by the laying ground and so reaches a first anchoring of the channel is
  • the mentioned outside arranged sideband is provided with openings. This may cause the gutter to interfere with the installation environment. As mentioned, it may be either the surrounding soil or a concrete border, it being also advantageous if the concrete or cement penetrates the stiffening skirt. As a result, an additional thrust protection in the longitudinal direction of the channel is already given immediately after the laying of the plastic channel even before the curing of the concrete.
  • the rigidity of the channel can be further increased by the gutter bottom outside stiffening ribs.
  • Such plastic troughs are often used in conjunction with systems of drainage, so that the trough bottom can be advantageously provided with a drain adapter for connecting a drain pipe of such a drainage system. It has proven to be advantageous if the drain adapter is mounted only on site, so preferably at the site. The drain adapter can be screwed to the gutter underside. You can easily use self-tapping screws.
  • the adapter piece on a pipe socket, and a connector, wherein the connector receives the outer contour of the gutter bottom form-fitting and this connector is screwed by means of corresponding screw holes in mounting tabs with the gutter bottom.
  • drain adapter is provided with a tapered pipe connection piece, so that different pipe cross-sections can be connected to one and the same drain adapter.
  • Both the connector and the pipe socket may already be factory provided with appropriately pre-assembled sealing rings to allow a sealing connection of the drain pipes.
  • the plastic channel is composed of frontally interconnecting channel profile elements
  • the individual channel profile elements are usually open at the front.
  • individual channel profile elements are frontally completed with a U-shaped end piece.
  • the end piece to be used at the end can be locked by means of corresponding end-side molded locking elements with the respective gutter elements.
  • the channel wall according to the invention is shaped so that the side walls of the channel profile elements pass into the frames for receiving the channel cover or such a frame is formed.
  • the correspondingly molded into the side walls of the channel profile elements frame is provided with locking recesses for receiving locking elements of the channel cover.
  • the recesses are provided with attachment elements projecting into the frame area in the direction of the inside of the channel, but these essentially leave the clear cross section of the recess substantially empty.
  • the preferably made of plastic gutter covers the plastic gutter are provided with over the actual gutter body outside protruding locking tabs, the force-locking and form-locking latch when properly mounted with the recesses. As a result, a detachable pull-out protection of the gutter cover is effected.
  • the frame enclosing the channel cover is advantageously provided with receiving pockets for the attachment elements, so that in the longitudinal direction of the channel additionally provides a thrust protection for the gutter covers.
  • FIG. 1 shows a single trough profile element 1 in a perspective view obliquely from above.
  • the gutter profile element 1 consists essentially of a gutter lower part 2, which is bounded by two side walls 3, 3 'extending from the gutter base 2 in the direction of the open side of the U-shaped profile.
  • a frame 4 for receiving a channel cover 23 is provided in each case on the upper side facing the open side of the U-profile.
  • the frame 4 is on the upper side of an upper edge 5, 5 'completed, which is formed by a folded edge of the side walls 3, 3'.
  • the folded edge 5, 5 'on the outside passes into a stiffening skirt 6, 6', which is essentially inclined at the intended installation, which leads to the formation of a double wall in the upper area of the side walls 3, 3 'facing the open side of the channel profile element 1.
  • a stiffening skirt 6, 6' passeses with increasing distance from the upper edge 5, 5' of the side wall in each with large-area openings 7, 7 'provided sideband 8, 8', which cause the trough profile elements 1 in this area of their respective Installation environment are penetrated.
  • the side walls 3, 3 ', but also the gutter base 2 are additionally under attack by stiffening ribs 10, which are spaced from each other over the length of the trough profile element 1 are arranged.
  • the stiffening ribs 10 lead to an additional stiffening of the channel profile elements 1 and thus to the stiffening of these channel profile elements 1 composite plastic channel.
  • gutter profile elements 1 are joined together sealingly at their open end faces with the respective adjacent gutter profile element 1.
