Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sound-absorbing element which consists of several layers and has recesses in at least one layer according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such sound-absorbing elements also referred to as so-called “acoustic panels” are known in many different embodiments in the prior art.
- Such plates include embodiments with through holes, offset from the visible side, through slots or similar recesses.
- longitudinally and / or transversely grooved plates are known, wherein the front side of the plate along grooved, the back of the plate against it is cross grooved.
- acoustic panels are in addition to the general noise insulation u.a. the reduction or complete elimination of reverberation effects of sound, especially in premises with a high sound reflectivity, such as in multi-purpose halls, museums and the like. Special areas of application of these elements can also be found in concert halls, whereby an appropriate design of the visible side of these acoustic panels also additional aesthetic considerations is taken into account.
- a multi-layered sound-absorbing element which has recesses in at least one layer.
- parallel slits are provided in an intermediate layer, the sound being introduced into the component via microperforations.
- One of the reverberation times of the sound-reducing element is for example from the German patent application DE 195 05 025 known.
- a plate-shaped element is disclosed, the upper side of which is provided with a plurality of parallel in the element extending grooves, whereas the back of the element has a series of holes which are aligned with the respective groove in the front, so that result in corresponding sound openings.
- the production of such an element in particular the milling of the grooves and the setting of the holes, takes place in many individual steps, which proves to be time consuming and costly.
- EP 1 109 150 A2 a generic acoustic panel made of a curable molding material with at least two superimposed flocks of rods.
- the degree of achievable sound absorption depends only on the number of slots per layer, their slot width and their distances from each other and which layers of the element are provided with slots. In their production, therefore, only the milling or planing tool is to be changed or replaced. The process steps as such remain unaffected.
- a significant advantage of the sound absorbing member according to the present invention resides in the fact that the arrangement of slits in the different slices and their different geometric or size Design a variability is created, which can be used for the design of acoustic problems, depending on the application of the element according to the invention, without causing the production process must be significantly modified and so the efficiency is affected by additional steps. In other words, this means that regardless of the number of slots or the slot width in the front panel or the back plate, the element is always to produce in an efficient manner.
- the plate-shaped elements thus produced can be tailored according to the arrangement of ceilings and walls afterwards, the fastening side, which is formed by the back plate of the element, with corresponding connection mechanisms, optionally using substructures cooperates.
- Such an acoustic element is preferably made of wood-based materials.
- so-called MDF (Medium Density Fiber) boards should be used in the elements according to the present invention.
- MDF Medium Density Fiber
- the plates can each be in one piece.
- the slots of the plates lie, for example, in one Range of 9 to 12 mm, but are preferably based on the desired degree of absorption of each site.
- the design of the top of the front panel as the visible side of the element are no limits in design.
- the plates may be provided in particular with a wood veneer.
- the front panel may be pressed with a HPL (High Pressure Laminate) or melamine resin paper coated thereon.
- the slots can include not only rectangular cross sections but also other cross-sectional shapes.
- the single figure shows an element which has a substantially rectangular shape.
- the element 1 is sandwiched from two congruent layers. It comprises here a front plate 3 and a back plate 4, which is opposite to the front plate 3 for fixing the element 1 to a Wall, ceiling or the like.
- a surface of the front panel 3 forms the visible side 3s of the element.
- the front plate 3 is provided on the one hand with first slots 5, which have been introduced from the visible side 3s of the front panel 3 in this by milling or planing.
- the front panel has slots 6 which are introduced from the side of the front panel 3 opposite the visible side 3s and extend transversely to the slots 5.
- the slots 5 in the front panel 3 are mounted at a certain distance parallel to each other, also like the slots 6, which extend transversely thereto.
- the slots 5 and 6 have such a depth that they intersect to form a sound passage opening 8. In these sound passage openings 8 of the sound is collected and reflected back and forth, whereby a sound absorption effect occurs.
- the back plate 4 has slots 7 which extend to a depth below the thickness of the back plate 4, ie the slots 7 have such a depth that they extend into the front panel 3 in so that they intersect the slots 6 extending transversely to them and thus form sound passage openings 8 at the respective interfaces.
- the slots 7 and 5 opposite and have substantially the same groove width.
- sound passage openings 8 which extend over both plate layers and thus enforce the entire thickness of the element 1. As a result, larger spaces are created in which the sound is trappable. If the element 1 is arranged on a substructure of a wall and has a certain distance from it, further absorption spaces are available to the sound waves.
- the embodiment of the element 1 is characterized by a relatively simple structural design.
- the slots 6 are first introduced on the side opposite the visible side 3s of the front panel 3 by means of a planing or milling machine in the front panel 3 and then the plates 3,4 glued or pressed together.
- both the slots 7 of the back plate 4 and the slots 5 of the front panel 3 as well as possible grooves and springs can be made on opposite edges of the element 1 in a single operation.
- the individual elements 1 can be connected during assembly via not shown tongue and groove connections.
