Definitions
- the invention relates to an acoustic panel and a method for producing the same.
- Acoustic panels made of wood-based materials are currently being drilled with rows of holes offered at certain center distances. These holes are through holes and are responsible for the sound that occurs in a reverberation room (e.g. gyms or similar) to absorb, i.e. by converting the sound energy into thermal energy the reverberation time in Reduce reverberation space or influence it in a targeted manner.
- a absorbing energy / incident energy
- This degree of sound absorption can be influenced in acoustic panels with through holes, by placing a sound-absorbing insulating material over the entire surface on the side facing away from the reverberation room attached and with the help of a suitable substructure a defined distance (enclosed reverberation room volume) to the load-bearing wall or ceiling. With the change of the included reverberation volume can easily be measured in the third-octave bands be moved. Variation offers additional possibilities for influencing the plate thickness and the proportion of holes (by changing the hole pattern and / or hole diameter).
- laminated veneer lumber or plywood panels are currently being produced (see, for example, EP-A-0 150 500), which are in the surface have a regular slot structure.
- the plates are whole (slit-shaped opening) or partially slotted.
- the degree of sound absorption of the partially slotted panels can be varied by varying the slot depth, the slot spacing and the Slot width can be influenced.
- the same influencing options apply to the slotted panels as for the drilled plates.
- the object of the invention is to provide an acoustic panel, the sound absorbing effect compared to that of the known acoustic panels made of wood materials by using physical or basic sound engineering laws is significantly improved.
- an acoustic panel which is characterized according to the invention is that it consists of a three-layer solid wood panel with two in relation to the grain cover layers running parallel to one another and a central layer running transverse to these there is that a top layer extending in the longitudinal direction and up to Has middle layer reaching slits, and that the middle layer on their the slotted Side facing the top layer has parallel grooves that cut slits.
- the invention is based on the idea of also coinciding with the sound striking the plate level Help of a cavity within the plate cross-section through multiple sound reflection between the cavity walls.
- the and the slits of the grooves intersecting the hall-side cover layer have a large number of such cavities formed within the plate cross section.
- the sound occurs at the interfaces of these slits and grooves in these cavities and is repeated by the walls of the same reflected. With each reflection, the sound within the cavities loses energy, because this is converted into heat due to the friction that arises.
- the degree of having one Acoustic panel according to the invention achievable sound absorption is essentially by variation the slot and / or groove spacing, and to a limited extent by different Groove depths and slot and / or groove shapes can be influenced.
- the grooves of the central layer intersect the slits of the Hall-side cover layer at a right angle, since this is the manufacture of the plate relieved, because the grooves then produce in the longitudinal direction of the boards forming the central layer are.
- the slits and / or grooves in cross section be rectangular, rounded, triangular, chamfered or shaped like a crest.
- the other top layer can also extend in the longitudinal direction and have slits extending to the middle layer, which preferably with the Slits of one cover layer are aligned, and the middle layer on the other cover layer facing side parallel and coinciding with the slits of the other top layer
- the middle layer on the other cover layer facing side parallel and coinciding with the slits of the other top layer
- the procedure is that in boards intended for the central position are parallel on one side and preferably in the longitudinal direction the board-running grooves are planed or milled, then the grooves provided Boards with the two top layers forming boards in the press to a blank plate be glued, then the panel blank into panels intended for the finished acoustic panel Size is cut, and finally with the help of planing or milling tools one of the top layer adjacent to the grooves of the middle layer of such Slab made in the longitudinal direction and extending to the central position are, where appropriate also in the other top layer extending in the longitudinal direction and preferably made with the slits of the one top layer aligned slits that extend into the middle position and thus at the same time in the middle position the slots of this other top layer form coincident grooves.
- FIG. 1 shows an oblique view of a first embodiment of the acoustic panel according to the invention
- Fig. 3 is an oblique view of a second embodiment the acoustic panel according to the invention
- FIG. 4 the acoustic panel according to FIG. 3 in Top view.
- the acoustic panel shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a three-layer solid wood panel with two cover layers running parallel to each other with respect to the fiber direction 1, 2, of which the top layer 1 represents the top layer on the reverberation chamber side, and one of these Top layers transverse middle layer 3.
- the basic structure of this three-layer solid wood panel corresponds to the guidelines of the ⁇ -Norm B3022.
- the cover layer 1 on the side of the reverberation chamber extends in the longitudinal direction and up to to the middle layer 3 reaching slots la.
- the middle layer 3 are parallel, the slots 1a intersecting at an angle of 90 ° Grooves 3a are provided which undercut the slits la cavities within the plate cross-section form. From the walls of these cavities, the one at the interfaces of the Slits la and grooves 3a reflecting sound entering the acoustic panel several times, so that its energy is converted into heat by the resulting friction.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 represents a further development of the Invention represents, as well as the top layer 2 extending in the longitudinal direction and up to the middle layer 3rd has reaching slits 2a, which are aligned with the slits la, and the central position 3 has on its side facing the top layer 2 further grooves 3b, which with the slots 2a of the top layer 2 coincide.
- the depths of the grooves 3a and 3b are dimensioned so that that their sum exceeds the thickness of the middle layer 3, so that at the intersections of the grooves 3a and 3b openings 4 (shown hatched in Fig. 4) are present through which the Sound can also pass through the acoustic panel, which creates an additional sound absorption effect, as in the known slotted or drilled acoustic panels occurs, is achievable.
- the grooves 3a in the middle layer 3 cut the slits 1a of the top layer 1 at a right angle, if this is the case at the moment represents the preferred embodiment.
- An inclination of the grooves 3a with respect to the Slots 1a could e.g. serve in a with acoustic panels according to the invention to produce decorative patterns on the wall or ceiling.
- the slits 1a are as over the entire acoustic panel shown throughout. However, it would also be possible to make these slits in places where there are no grooves 3a, to interrupt or end before the edge of the plate to let. A decorative effect could also be achieved with this.
- cross-sections of the slots 1a and grooves 3a can be any other suitable instead of the rectangular shape shown To have shape.
- the various cross-sectional shapes are different to achieve decorative effects.
- the procedure for producing the acoustic panel according to the invention is as follows.
- the boards intended for the formation of the middle layer 3 are one-sided Grooves 3a planed or milled.
- the middle layer boards prepared in this way are in the normal Manufacturing process for three-layer solid wood panels involved and with which the two Cover layers 1 and 2 forming boards glued in the press to a blank plate. After this Emptying the press, the grooves 3a of the middle layer are covered by the cover layer 1.
- the Blank disc is then formatted, i.e. to individual panels for the acoustic panels intended size cut. Subsequently, the top layer 1 of such a plate with the help of planing or milling tools in the pass to the middle layer 3 (slots 1a), with which an acoustic panel according to FIG. 1 is completed.
- planing or milling tools are also used the top layer 2, u. between.
- the middle layer 3 slotted, whereby the Slots 2a of the top layer 2 and the other coinciding with these slots Grooves 3b of the middle layer 3 arise.
