Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for the transport of Banknotes inside an ATM between at least a banknote cassette for storing output Banknotes and an issuing office or between this and a receptacle for withdrawn banknotes, comprising one between the issuing office and one Collection point, taken from the banknote cassette individually Banknotes are collected in a bundle lying Bunch transport route with two belt drives, between their parallel to each other, each with a Drive roller in the same direction encircling endless belt Banknote bundle is detected and transported, and with a drive device for driving the belt drive.
- the bundle transport or output transport usually has the task, the bundle bundled in the collection point Equally aligned to the issuing office transport where it can be taken by the customer.
- the banknote bundle must from the issue opening back to a so-called reject cassette be encouraged, for example, if the customer forgot has to withdraw the money or if even before the issue of the banknote bundle a false note number has been. It may also have thicker bundles stiff banknotes over a turnout in a tight radius in the reject cassette are deflected.
- the opening in the Reject cassette must be securely lockable for transport and is because of the compressed design of the Reject cassette relatively narrow.
- the invention is based on EP 0 174 009 A2, from the one Device of the type mentioned is known at a bundle of collected banknotes on the way to the reject cassette by a narrowing in the direction of transport Gap between a pulley of the belt transport and one opposite to a part of its circumference stationary guide surface is transported. Thereby the bills in the bundle become parallel to the transport direction shifted against each other so that the bundle pulled apart and thereby longer in the transport direction, but gets thinner. Depending on the friction between the bills as well as between these and the baffle can the Sparkles easily jam in the narrowing gap.
- a device of the aforementioned Described with at least two transport belts each guided by at least two pulleys are.
- the transport belts, one of which is driven by a motor is, are facing each other and are, at least partially, with their treads in mutual contact and thus have the same transport speed.
- the first transport system is opposite to the second transport system resiliently mounted, whereby upon insertion of a Bunch of banknotes between the two transport belts lost the contact between the two transport systems goes. The resulting difference in the transport quantity speeds of both transport systems leads in the further Transport course to a fanning of the banknote bundle.
- the invention is based on the object, a device of the type mentioned above in such a way that also relatively thick and stiff banknotes bundles easily through a narrow opening can be fed into the reject cassette can.
- This object is achieved in that the Belt drives at least in the direction of the delivery point to the receptacle with different 'speed are charged.
- a different drive speed of the two Belt drives can be accomplished by the fact that the drive device For each belt drive each has its own Engine has, of which at least one in its speed is controllable.
- the drive device can also be as before with a Motor get by one of the two belt drives in the a transport direction via a first gear train and in the other transport direction via a second gear train with a different from the first gear train Translation with the engine can be coupled.
- the drive roller of a first belt drive and a too their parallel intermediate shaft rotatably coupled to the engine while the drive roller of the second belt drive via a first one-way clutch with the first drive roller and via a second one-way clutch, the direction of action to that first one-way clutch is opposite, with the Intermediate shaft is in torque transmitting connection.
- the one-way clutches can be made in different ways be. For example, one of the one-way clutches a detent freewheel or sprag freewheel and the other One-way clutch to be a friction clutch, in one Direction allows a torque transmission and in the other direction prevents locking of the transmission, if two gear elements meet at different speeds.
- the bundle transport route can easily with a another two belt drives comprehensive transport route coupled, wherein an endless belt of a belt drive over the first drive roller and the endless belt the second belt drive guided over a drive roller is that sits on the intermediate shaft. Because the first drive roller and the intermediate shaft always at the same speed be driven, also run the two belt drives This second transport route equally fast, so that on this second transport route the banknote bundle always is transported in the form in which it is in the second Transport distance has arrived, that is either with edge equal aligned banknotes or in fanned out Shape.
- the second transport route can be the bundle transport route with the collection point and a switch with connect to the receptacle.
- FIG. 1 can be seen a very schematic and simplified shown cash dispenser 10 with a housing 12.
- a housing 12 In the formed as a safe 14 lower part of the housing are two banknote cassettes 16 to Bills to be issued and a reject cassette 18 for receiving banknotes, although provided for the issue but not for some reason have reached the customer.
- Each banknote cassette 16 is a Separation mechanism 20 assigned to the banknotes individually withdraw from the banknote cassette 16 and a Supply collective transport 22, which is in the vertical direction past the banknote cassettes 16 to a collection point 24 extends where the from the banknote cassettes 16 individually withdrawn banknotes collected in a bundle become.
- the banknote bundle thus formed is then replaced by a taken over another vertical transport route 26, which it through an opening 28 in the top surface 30 of the Vault 14 through to an output conveyor 32, the banknote bundle then up to an output tray 34 in the operating unit 36 of the cash dispenser 10 transports.
- the output transport 32 has a bearing frame 42 with two parallel frame walls 44, 46. Between the Frame walls 44 and 46 are an upper belt drive 48 and a lower belt drive 50 is arranged.
- the upper belt drive 48 includes two endless belts 52, each having a Roller 54, which rotatably on a in the frame walls 44 and 46 mounted drive shaft 56 is seated, and a roller 58th run on a stored in the frame walls 44 and 46 Shaft 60 is freely rotatably mounted.
- the lower belt drive 50 includes two endless belts 62, each over a roller 64, which rotates on one in the frame walls 44 and 46 mounted drive shaft 66 sit, and a roll 68 running on one in the frame walls 44 and 46 mounted shaft 70 is freely rotatably mounted.
- the Untertrume the endless belt 52 of the upper belt drive 48 act with the upper runs of the endless belts 62 of the lower belt drive 50 together to transport a banknote bundle, as can be seen in Figures 4 and 5.
- the drive of the output transport 32 and belt drives the vertical transport 26 via a motor 86, the is arranged on the inside of the frame wall 44 and its on the outside of the frame wall 44 lying drive wheel 88 via a drive belt 90 a on the drive shaft 66 rotatably seated drive wheel 92 drives.
- the the drive wheel 92 opposite, from the frame wall 46th outstanding end of the drive shaft 66 carries a first Gear 94. This engages with one on the frame wall 46 mounted first intermediate gear 96, in turn a mounted on the frame wall 46 second intermediate gear 98 drives.
- the intermediate gear 98 is in turn in engagement with a rotationally fixed to the intermediate shaft 80 connected second gear 100 and on the other with a third gear 102, via a first one-way clutch 104 in the form of a detent freewheel with the drive shaft 56 is detachable.
- a fourth gear 106 On an over the frame wall 44 protruding end of the Drive shaft 56 is rotatably a fourth gear 106, via a mounted on the frame wall 44 third idler gear 108 drives a fifth gear 110, which with the intermediate shaft 80 via a second one-way clutch 112th can be coupled, which is designed as a slip clutch.
- the Slip clutch consists of a rotationally fixed with the intermediate shaft 80 connected brake disc 114 against which the gear 110, which carries a brake pad 116, by a helical compression spring 118 is stretched.
- the gear ratios in the second gear train are like this chosen that the drive shaft 56 of the upper belt drive 48 rotates at a higher speed than the drive shaft 66 of the lower belt drive 50.
- the gear ratios are chosen that the drive shafts 56 and 66 with the same Turn the speed.
- the one-way clutch 104 is now configured to that at the return of the banknote bundle, i. at the direction indicated by the arrows B running direction of the freewheel the one-way clutch 104 is effective, so that the drive shaft 56 of the upper belt drive 48 with the through rotated the second gear train predetermined higher speed becomes.
- Belt drives 48 and 50 are the individual banknotes of the Banknotes bundle shifted in running direction against each other, i.e. the bundle is fanned out. This will make the bundle altogether thinner and more flexible, so that it is easier to divert can be. By repeatedly changing the drive direction This fanning can be intensified, as long as the bundle in total within the by the belt drives 48 and 50 defined transport route remains.
